Shaylee~ After a while, air was filling my lungs and I stared at the pool of blood at my feet. Tears welled up in my eyes and the image flashed of my mother, crumpled on the ground bleeding to death, in my mind. I raised a shaky hand to my mouth and flinched as the shotgun's echo burst in my head. I cried out, holding my head and fell to my knees, shaking with every sob that left me.

Kia: wow, my battery was totally charged from being with him all day. i wouldn't even need to go clubbing tonight. i smiled, a slowly my eyes drifted shut. i was just so warm and i felt so safe

Blane: sh** i grabbed her and held her to my chest. i closed my eyes and muttered a sleep spell. putting her to sleep

I felt myself drifting to sleep slowly, but I didn't want too. I didn't want that night to replay. I pushed it out of my mind with much effort, but it wasn't enough because soon, it was replaying once again.

dimitri: i kissed her forehead, and turned off the tv, letting her drift into sleep.

Blane: "uh-uh no sadness baby. i want a smile on your face. listen to my voice and let yourself drift." i said it softly in her ear

Kia: i eventually fell asleep. i wasn't plagued by nightmares though, no. i was out in the sunshine, laughing and smiling with...someone. i couldn't see their face. i was human too. a normal human girl with normal human problems.

dimitri: i smiled seeing her dreams. she was happy and that was good enough for me.

Kia: something wasn't right though. soon the grass died, the boy left. i was lost and alone. i didn't rail against my fate or cry. no. i accepted it as the inevitable. Succubus didn't fall in love, they didn't get happily ever afters. i just sat on the dead ground and lifted my face to the sky, wondering why i kept living

dimitri: my smile turned to a frown. "You do fall." i told her. "Or people fall for you." i pulled her closer against me.

I heard a voice, warm and soft, invading my dreams and I listened closely. I felt the darkness and resentment leave and I was surrounded by a nothingness that was peaceful. I felt calm and then I saw my mother, looking down at me smiling. *Don't worry, Baby Girl. I'll always be with you,* her voice echoed around me. I smiled softly, tears running down my face. Then I blacked out, drifting into the calm nothingness that had engulfed me.

Kia: i awoke, startled to realize i wasn't in my room. or in my bed. then it all came back to me. i looked up to see dimitri. warmth infused me and i smiled sleepily at him. "morning"

Blane: i saw when she calmed and let out a held breath. i muttered a healing spell to take care of her arm. but i let her sleep a while longer. i was sure she needed it

Dimitri: "Not morning sunshine." i told her. "its about 8:00 at night." i kissed her forehead.

Kia: 8? "oh crap i should go. you're parents will be getting home soon." and a succubus was not something a guy wanted to bring home to meet his parents.

Dimitri: i smiled faded. "Oh right. You still going clubbing tonight?" i asked, sitting up a bit.

Kia: i awoke, startled to realize i wasn't in my room. or in my bed. then it all came back to me. i looked up to see dimitri. warmth infused me and i smiled sleepily at him. "morning"

Blane: i saw when she calmed and let out a held breath. i muttered a healing spell to take care of her arm. but i let her sleep a while longer. i was sure she needed it

Shaylee~ Throughout the calmness, the pain in my arm had finally disappeared. I let out a soft breath as it echoed around me. I knew that this was the consequences of being part Siren and part... Well, I didn't know what the other parts were. There were many, but I couldn't tell what they were.

Kia: "no, it's fine." i didn't want to ruin this perfect day with something as shallow as partying. especially if someone recognized me. i blanched

Blane: i lifted her in my arms and walked outside to the back of the school. i bench was there, worn but clean, and i sat down with her on my lap. waiting for her to wake up

Dimitri: "Need a ride home?" i asked her.

Shaylee~ I felt myself rising and soon, I was drifting awake. I opened my eyes slowly, and saw a light gray sky, blank but peaceful. I blinked a few times and I saw Blane looking down at me. I was sure I was blushing but I didn't care. "What are you?" I whispered softly, not realizing what I had just said, until it was said.

Kia: "Sure" i reached my arms up and stretched my lax muscles, my wings fluttering

Blane: "druid of some sort" i shrugged.

Shaylee~ I blinked a few times, wide eyed. It was weird because my Nana had told me stories of Druids and because she was psychic, She said I would've met one in the future. I guess she wasn't crazy at all.

Blane: "feeling any better?" i asked her, brushing the hair from her face

Dimitri: i stood up smiled at her and grabbed my car keys. "ready?" i asked

Shaylee~ I nodded slightly. "A little."

Kia: I slipped my sweatshirt back on. "Yep"

Blane: i smiled. "good. take as long as you need."

When he smiled, I couldn't help but smile back. Then my frown returned when my mothers voice echoed in my head. I slowly sat up, sliding off of his lap and sat next to him, blinking every minute or so.

Dimitri: ok, so i didnt own a car. i owned a mortercycle. smiling, i sat down and patted the section behind me.
