Dimitri: i didnt answer right away. "A couple, but that was only becuase they asked me out. i havent ever asked anyone out until you."

Kia: i chuckled, he was such a smooth talker. with anyone else it would have been corny but with him is was sweet. my mind skipped to my last boyfriend, but i slammed a wall down on that thought. one because i didn't want to cry, and two because i knew dimitiri would here me. "what's your favorite food?"

Kia: "i loooooove dark chocolate. the darker the better." i smiled at him. i'd had pasta before but only sauce from the jar. my mom didn't cook. instead i ate ramen and eggs. if she went to the grocery store...and if we had any money. Which was rare. the only thing we had alot of was hard liquor. and whatever trinkets my mom's lover gave her. "Do you do any illegal substances" cause those a huge no-no with me

Dimitri: i laughed, "Sure thing." i shifted her slightly, and got up to the dvd player. i grabbed a random one from the movie cubord and popped it in. i grabbed the remote, turned off the lights, and walked over to her.

Kia: i suppose i could pretend to be afraid but he would just read my mind and see the lack of fear. why fear the fiction when nonfiction was so much scarier? but i gave him a smile, just happy to be spending time with him.

Shaylee~ After a while, air was filling my lungs and I stared at the pool of blood at my feet. Tears welled up in my eyes and the image flashed of my mother, crumpled on the ground bleeding to death, in my mind. I raised a shaky hand to my mouth and flinched as the shotgun's echo burst in my head. I cried out, holding my head and fell to my knees, shaking with every sob that left me.
