I looked into her eyes "Uhm, that guy...he just started beating you...so I took care of him..." I looked down ashamed that she had to witness it. I tried my best not too help anyone that wasn't attached to me from a job, but i felt as if i needed to help her or something would have gone wrong.

I sighed, "Alright. His name was Jason. He was kind of like an ex-boyfriend. Well, he thought we were together but there was no way in hell I would touch that guy with a ten foot pole." I closed my eyes tightly in order to keep myself from tearing up.

Always the exes...I held my tongue to sustain a -that's what I thought- laugh. I placed my hand over hers to comfort her as I knew she was about to cry. "That's alright...you don't have to talk about it anymore..." I frowned at how badly he hurt her.

I opened my eyes and nodded. I saw his hand was on top of mine and I blushed a little. "Thank you." A doctor walked in just then. He seemed taken back at how I was awake. "Hi, I just need some information about you so we can contact your parents." I sighed, "My name is Fairyn Angelica Bridges. I'm Sixteen born on November 3rd, 1993 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. My father was Damon Bridges, my mother was Jacinda Night. They were both killed in a car accident two months ago." I looked up at him, "Is that all?"

I moved my hand away when the doctor came in. As she told about her parents I stared wide eyed at her. The doctor looked completely embarrassed. I chuckled softly at his expression.

"Um... Yeah I think that's it. Wait, one more question. Any siblings?" I sighed, a tear sliding down my face. "A brother on tour in Afghanistan, a sister in Japan abroad and a dead little sister. Died of Leukemia."

My jaw dropped slightly. What the f*** has this girl done to deserve such tragedy...I slid my hand over hers again as comfort. I gave her a small smile, not knowing what to say.

I sighed, tears starting to slide down my cheeks. "I-" the doctor started but I held my hand up. "Don't say sorry. Just leave." My voice wavered as I struggled to keep my composure.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "What are you?" I would usually be afraid of this type of thing but I wasn't. I was afraid of worse and- whoever he was- I wasn't afraid of.

I cocked my head at her "What do you mean, "what am I?" I wasn't meant to be figured out by just anyone. "You should probably get some rest...help yah heal..." I got up from the chair and walked to the door "Do you want me to come check on you sometime?"

I blinked then nodded. "Um, sure." I sighed looking away. I knew what I saw. At least I knew that I wasn't the only one with strange powers....

I rubbed my hand across my chin and mouth trying to figure out what to say "Well, when do you want me to come back?" I didn't want to leave, but I didn't feel comfortable with someone knowing or thinking i had something else in me not human.
