Tifa tried to catch her breath, gazing up at him. She gently cupped his jaw and brought her lips to his in a soft kiss. "I love you, Cloud Strife."

"I love you too, Tifa Lockheart." He shifts so that they're laying on the pew together and pulls two blankets tight around them, so if the kids wake up before them, they won't be flashed.

She snuggled into him, wrapping her arms around his waist and burying her face into his chest. "Your warm," she remarked.

He chuckled softly before a yawn cut off whatever he had been about to say. He smiled softly and nuzzled her, pulling her close to him.

He smiled softly at her. That's when he realized that he heard nothing. Not an evil though anywhere near. They were safe... He smiled and kissed her forehead, "Get some sleep..." he said softly

She began to shake against him.

He hugged her close, "Tifa, they're not here any more. They left. I don't know what happened back there, but until Sephiroth is determined dead or alive, they won't be back. Please, you need rest. I won't let them hurt you, I promise."

He sighed peacefully and the night passed quickly as they lay there. Before long, the sun was rising. After a while he sighed and sat up, knowing Denzel would be up soon, so it'd be best to get dressed now.

Tifa, also, got up and began to dress, wincing at the faint tenderness.

He smiles apologetically and walked to wake the two, only to stop and smile, "Tifa...come look..."

The two had shifted in their sleep so they were laying on the bed of flowers and Thalia was curled up against him, head resting on his chest with one hand gripping his black tank top.

Tifa looked over, once fully dressed, and smiled at them with a soft giggle.
She then walked over and woke up Denzel first. "Denzel...wake up," she whispered quietly. The boy groaned and opened his eyes, wincing at the brightness.
"Mornin'-"
And then he stopped, listening closely. Tifa noticed it too. She slowly stood and looked at the entrance of the Church.

Cloud grabbed his buster sword and turned, looking closely, finding it hard to see against the morning light. He frowned as he slowly began to make out the shape.

Tifa readied her fists as she stood while Denzel began to wake up Thalia.
Then, she froze when a pair of wings unfurled from the figure's back.
Tifa...it's time, an angelic soft voice echoed in her mind.
She thought for a while. Aerith..?
There was a light giggle. No...but a friend like her.
Her eyes seemed to be in a trance.

Cloud just stared in awe as a voice like Zack's said, come on, Chocobo in his own mind and his lips were parted in awe, an emotion in his eyes never seen before: tearful sorrow. Cloud was near crying in that instant.

Out of reflex, Thalia wound up nailing him in the jaw with her fist as a natural defensive maneuver. When she sat up, she mumbled a gruff, "Sorry and stood up, handing him back his button up.

Slowly, Tifa began to step forward as the figure, who looked to be female, reached her hand out. Then, she took off running, disappearing into the light.
Denzel winced when she punched him and shrugged. "S'all good." He then gasped when he saw Tifa run and yelled her name.

Cloud was soon following after her in his own trance, tears running down his cheeks. His best friend's name on his lips as he sobbed.

"Hey! Get back her!" Thalia cried, jumping up on unsteady legs and taking off after them.

When Tifa ran out of the church, the light cleared and she staggered a bit, gasping. She looked around, eyes wide. The figure was gone and they were no longer in Edge. The sky had an orange and pink hue to it and there was a large building in front of them. The wind was blowing gently.
Denzel also took off.

Cloud gasped, wide-eyes as he looked around, lips parted in awe. He openly gaped at it before taking of towards the building.

Thalia pulled Denzel along, as he'd started falling behind, and was hot on Cloud and Tifa's heels, "HEY! Slow down!"

Cloud arived at the building and opened the door, slowing down as he walked in and looked around.

"Hey! Are you even listening?!" she yelled, literally draggin the boy now.
