A man with spiky blonde hair peeled his eyes open, revealing Mako Blue eyes. He grunted as he slowly got onto his hands and knees, struggling to stay up. He coughed a couple times before looking at his surroundings. Edge was nothing more than rubble. Seventh Heaven, Tifa's bar, was run down and burnt. Fear lanced through him at that moment. "Tifa!" he called out, his voice rough from not speaking in Gaia knows how long. As he looked around, he caught sight of an auburn haired boy, laying on his stomach. "Denzel!" He yelled and suddenly got enough energy to get up and run to the boy. He knelt down beside him, heart pounding against his rib cage terribly. He pressed two fingers against the pulse of Denzel's neck and sighed in relief to feel the heartbeat. The boy stirred just a bit before sitting up, groaning in pain. "You okay?" the man asked. Denzel looked up at him and weakly smiled,

"Yeah. What about you?"

The man nodded before looking around. "Where's Marlene and Tifa?" he asked sternly.

"Barett's got Marlene but...Tifa..." The man looked to Denzel. "Tifa's nowhere to be found," he murmured sadly. Cloud's blue eyes widened before he stood and looked around.

Damn it, Teef...Where are you?

(So...Zoey can't really log on at the moment but we made the idea for this roleplay together. So I'll be adding the information she wanted to post. 'Kay? And Ninjah, she said that she dgaf XD)

This roleplay IS based on the Final Fantasy Series. However, it has a darker twist at some points while it also includes little things from other series. One of them is Kingdom Hearts which is easy to use due to Cloud and Tifa being involved along with Aerith, Squall, and other characters.

Anyways, the plot is this. We're starting out with FF:VII. This will take place after the DoC game. Weird experiences happen to the gang and they have no recollection of it.

Appearance~ Tifa has deep brown hair, reaches the middle of her back, straight and it covers almost one eye with her side bangs. Her skin is a creamy pale and her eyes are crimson.
Weapon~ Her fists but she is able to use two Katanas.

Crimson eyes opened as the figure moaned softly while finally waking up. She felt something wet on her arms and face. She could see her shredded gloved hand covered in the same crimson as her eyes. She gritted her teeth and winced as she slowly rose to her hands and knees. "Ow," she whimpered, one hand instantly going to her side where she felt more of the warm liquid. "Shit," she grunted as she got to one foot, then the other. She staggered before placing the other hand on the brick wall of the building beside her. She could faintly hear a voice yelling something that resembled her name; but she couldn't be sure. She hesitantly took one step. Then another. She slightly pushed herself off of the building, clutching her stomach with one arm.

"Hello?" she called out roughly. Her throat felt raw and her voice scratched. She heard another yell, a response probably but it sounded so faint to her ears. "Hello?" she called out louder. She staggered again and gasped at the sudden pain. "Someone please! Answer me!" she cried, fear sinking into her and making an invisible weight slow her down.

(She can't get on the comp till later and I won't be able to post until MUCH MUCH MUCH later so.....>.> And she hit me back again -.-")

Cloud turned around, hearing a familiar cry. "Tifa!" he yelled once more. He heard his name called, loud enough for him to finally hear. He looked at Denzel who nodded. For a kid, he was one of the strongest he knew. "Come on," Cloud spoke before running towards the voice. Denzel wasn't too far behind. Two sets of footsteps pounded over the slick concrete, running towards the shouting voice.

[Cali]

Tifa sighed in relief to the response of a certain ex-Soldier. Silly Cloud, always dilly-dallying... she thought with a weak smile. She stumbled forward, hand pressed against her side. She heard footsteps and smiled to herself when she saw who they belonged to in the distance. Maybe...I've been the one dilly-dallying, she thought as she blinked slowly. She started to sway just a bit. She blinked slowly once more before suddenly freezing in place at the sound of a low growl, rumbling. The growl faded into the air, finishing like a whisper, only to be replaced by a high pitched screech that seemed never-ending. Tifa covered her ears at the sound, feeling as if her head was going to explode. Never had she felt that much pain before; the result was her screaming and falling to her knees.

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud cried out covering his ears with an ''Augh GAIA what is that!?'' he hissed over the screech as he raced to Tiffs's side, crouching beside her.

[Cali]

Tifa doubled over with a cry, her grip on her head desperate. Slowly, the screech died down and she hesitantly peeled her hands away, wincing. She then braced her hand on Cloud's broad shoulder and began to weakly stand, holding her stomach again with the other arm. Wounds covered her body.

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud helped her up, concern damncing in his crystal clear blue eyes, "Tifa, are you okay? What the hell was that?" He asked helping the brunnette to her feet gently, looking over her wounds, "Where is everyone else?" He asked worriedly.

[Cali]

She shook her head, "I'm not sure. One minute I'm coming back from errands and the next I'm waking up and everything looks like...this," she gulped, holding her side. She looked around then sighed in relief, seeing Denzel. "Are you okay?" she asked the once orphan that they had taken in.
He nodded but his eyes showed fear. "Where's Marlene?"
Crimson eyes widened as she shook her head.
"I'm not at all sure...but we'll find her. 'Kay?" She then smiled that signiture soft smile of hers as reassurance to the boy.

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud nodded, clasping him on the shoulder.

[Cali]

Tifa looked around once more before pulling her hand away and limping towards Seventh Heaven, her bar. Seeing it rundown like this made her sigh but seeing it burnt brought back memories of Nibelheim and the Mako Reactor.
Her jaw pulsed and her eyes glistened with tears but she quickly blinked them away. She then looked to Cloud and Denzel.
"Aerith's church," she spoke quietly. "Let's head there."

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud nodded, ''We'll be there in a minute,'' he wanted to talk to Denzel in private for a minute

[Cali]

Tifa looked at him in worry, crimson eyes matching that same emotion before nodding. "Just don't be too long. We don't know what's going to come out in the next few hours," she spoke, wincing as pain began to throb in the gash on her right temple and her side. She turned then began to limp towards their old friend's church.
Denzel watched after Tifa, slight fear on his face. "Cloud? Will Tifa be okay?" he asked, blue eyes shining.

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud thought for a moment, ''I don't know buddy, I'm sure Aerith will have her fixed up in no time, but don't be surprised if not everyone you care about makes it. Death is a natural part of life. There's nothing anyone can do to change that. Not even mako can make someone invincible. ''I hope you don't think I'm trying to upset you because I'm not. I'm just trying to teach you something I had to learn the hard way.''he explained, running a hand through his blonde hair.

[Cali]

Denzel nodded sadly with a small sigh.
"I know...But you have to look on the bright side of things and just hope, right?" he asked before running off to Tifa who made it inside the abandoned church by then.
Denzel gasped, seeing her and began to call for Cloud's help.
Tears were welling up behind closed eyelids as she writhed in slight pain, clutching her bleeding stomach.

Cloud raced over buster sword in hand.

[Cali]

Tifa began to try and stand again, gasping in pain.
She was not going to let them see her this weak. She couldn't do it.
Slowly, she staggered to a stance, leaning against one of the walls. Sweat covered her bloody and dirty pale skin. Blood continued to leak from her side no matter how much pressure she put on it. It didn't help that her vest was practically constricting it. She then waved Denzel over. "Denzel, I want you to put pressure here for a moment with your hands. Okay?" she asked softly and weakly.
His eyes were wide as he nodded and replaced her hand with both of his. She hissed in soft pain and unzipped her vest, revealing a shredded bloodied white tanktop. She shrugged the black leather material off, wincing and biting her lip to keep her cries at bay.

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud raced over, eyes wide, ''Oh my...''

[Cali]

She glanced up at Cloud, eyes looking just as world-worn as she appeared.
She then slumped down to the ground, gasping in pain as she held her stomach with one arm.
"Denzel, see that cup over there? Fill it with water for me, okay?" The young boy nodded and did as he was told, shaking a bit.
When he returned, he was expecting Tifa to drink it.
However, she splashed it onto her wound and screamed, a tear streaming down.
"Refill it," she whimpered, trying not to put anymore pressure on it for the moment. She needed to at least get it cleaned so she didn't have to worry about an infection.
She then began to rip her vest a little, tearing a long piece off, and fold it a few times. She then bit down on it as she repeated the process, muffling her screams.

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud took over, taking off his shirt and tearing it into strips, "Here," he said, taking the bucket of water and setting it down and wetting a few strips then wrapping them around the wound, "There, that'll last longer and it works better.

[Cali]

Tifa gasped in pain throughout the whole process, biting down on the material of her vest. A few tears fell down her face as her eyes slammed shut.
She nodded her thank you, her throat too raw to speak. She took the leather material out of her mouth and tried to catch her breath.

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud nodded softly, muttering an apology for causing her pain as he gently as he helped her.

[Cali]

She held her stomach with one arm as she slowly stood with his help. She looked around the church, memories flashing through her head.
But they were in the past now.
And if there was one thing she learned; it was to never let the past decide what moves you would make in the future.
She wished that Aerith was still alive, knowing that the healer would know just what to do.
She also knew that wishing wasn't going to bring her back.

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud patted her back gently, going into the church, "This should give us shelter for a little while..." he said softly.

[Cali]

She nodded in agreement.
Everything was the way it was the last time they went into the church: Cloud's revival after the battle with Kadaj and Sephiroth.
She felt her skin crawl at the thought of the remnant.
She saw the broken pews from her fight against Loz and instantly tensed. She vowed that she was never going to lose like that again.
