Cloud shook his head, "I promise you I won't."

She made a quick grab for his wrist, her maroon eyes fading to the old gold they once were for a moment as her small hands held the hand on the back of his head and she looked up at him with big nervous eyes.

His blue eyes widened a little as he gazed at him shyly. His warm breaths gently mingled with hers. Her eyes changed color.., he thought in wonder, searching her eyes.

Tifa leaned into him, trembling a little before gazing up at him, crimson eyes wide and teary. Her lips were parted, gentle breaths slipping past them.

She stared back up at him anxiously as she leaned forward slowly, not quite sure what she was doing, but unable to stop herself.

He looked down at her lovingly, his arms soft around her, "I won't let them hurt you."

Denzel found himself leaning towards her also, a lump in his throat.

She nodded and leaned up, pressing a soft weak kiss to his lips.

Her now gold gaze fluttered shut for a moment and their lips touchd, sending an electric current through her body.

He kissed her back softly, holding her firmly but gently.

His blue eyes closed also as he removed his hand from his jean pocket and cupped the base of her skull gently.

She ran a hand up his arm to his cheek.

This seemed to elicit a gasp from her, marveling at how a simple touch sent rockets of that feeling up and down her spine.

He wrapped his arms around her waist tightly but carefully.

She pulled away slowly, pressing her forehead against his gently.

Denzel slowly pulled back, breaking the kiss gently. He peeled his eyes open and gazed down at her.

Cloud smiled softly at her with half-lidded orbs.

Thalia pulled away, finding her knees weak, "Wh-what was that?" she gasped softly.

"A kiss," he whispered, holding her up easily. He bit his lip shyly, a faint smile on his face. "Why?"

Tifa smiled back faintly, despite the circumstances. Every time he kissed her, she felt all the pain melt away.

Her hands were on his shoudlers as she stared up at him, "Kiss..." her tongue darted out to lick her bottom lip, "I like kisses..." she determind.

Cloud smiled lovingly back at hr, stroking her cheek slowly, tenderly, "I love you."

She smiled up at him and leaned into his chest, arms moving to wrap around his torso. "I love you too, Cloud Strife."

He chuckled at this and pressed a kiss to the tip of her nose before nuzzling her forehead.

He smiled and lightly kissing her again.

She smiled sheepishly, still confused by the action.

He then brought his attention away from her for a moment when he heard Yuffie return and gasp. "Uhm...Yuffi-"

"When the hell did you two get together!?" she yelled, looking at Cloud and Tifa.
The raveness blushed, pulling away from his lips to look at the Wutai ninja and smiled sheepishly. She couldn't exactly say but from the looks of it, as Yuffie concluded, she was happier than ever.
"It's about damn time. And now I'm 1,000 gil richer," she smirked.
"....You bet with someone, didn't you," Tifa spoke, blushing even brighter.
"Yup. With Barrett of course," she giggled, ellicting a laugh from Tifa.

Denzel chuckled then returned his attention to the girl before him, noticing the confusion in her eyes. "Like this," he whispered softly before closing his eyes and kissing her lightly once again.

Cloud let out a rare laugh rolling his eyes, "Of course your did."

She felt that chill return and she gasped into his hips, her own parting unknowingly.

"Whoa! Who knew Spiky could make that sound?" a muffled voice spoke. Yuffie turned and let out a happy cry.
"Cid!" she yelled and practically tackled him into a hug while knocking the cigarette out of his mouth.
"God dammnit, Yuffie! That was my last one!" he whined, hugging her back then getting up, brushing the snow off of himself.
Yuffie then giggled once again and took out a pack of cigarettes from her hip-pouch. "You were saying?" she asked, smirking at the longing look in his eyes. He took them from her and quickly lit one up with a happy sigh.

Denzel smiled at the nervousness and pulled away once again, gazing into the depths of her maroon eyes.

Cloud looked up, eyebrow arching high as he laughed again, surprised at how light his chest felt now. It was as if a weight had been removed.

Her once more dark red eyes were thin in a smirk as she kissed him deeply, arms curling around his neck slowly.

Denzel was a bit surprised but he didn't mind, one arm staying where his neck was while the other wrapped around her waist.

Tifa looked up at him and smiled at this, her hand subconsciously coming up to cup his cheek.

She leaned closer to him, running her tongue slowly along the crevice of his lips, teasing. Wanting.

He smiled at hear easily for the first time in a length he couldn't remember, his arms going to wrap around her wait tightly, chin resting on her shoulder lightly.

Tifa had gasped softly at the sight of that smile; the one she hadn't seen since they were little and playing in Nibelheim, when they didn't have to worry about AVALANCHE and SOLDIER and Sephiroth and everything that was evil.
A few tears filled her eyes and she buried her face into his neck, her smile bright and warm.

Denzel shivered and pulled away, needing to breathe.

Tifa's hold on him tightened a little, leaning into him and pressing a soft kiss to his temple.

She turned her head away, eyes closed, "Forgive me..." she said softly, "Instinct."
