She nodded in agreement.
Everything was the way it was the last time they went into the church: Cloud's revival after the battle with Kadaj and Sephiroth.
She felt her skin crawl at the thought of the remnant.
She saw the broken pews from her fight against Loz and instantly tensed. She vowed that she was never going to lose like that again.

She leaned back, gasping for air that she was barely getting. Slowly, she laid down on her good side, closing her eyes for a moment. She just needed to rest.

Cloud sat beside her quietly, stroking her hair.

Slowly, she peeled open her eyes and sat up slowly.
She bit her lip hard so she couldn't cry out from the pain.
"Are you okay?" she asked Cloud.
She couldn't see any type of injury but she knew the swordsman too well.
He was good at hiding them.

Cloud nodded softly, blonde spikes swaying, "I'm fine," he assured her, looking around.

She nodded and held her stomach with one arm as she got up, limping away.
Her mind was too deep within her own memories here.

Cloud stood, "I know you miss her..." there was no accusation or anything, just gentle comfort.

"It's not just me, Cloud," she spoke. Her voice matched the tone of his. "We all miss her."
She weakly turned towards him, careful to not hurt the wound anymore.
She then sighed. "I was reminded of that battle. You know...When you found me?"
Her crimson irises reflected that same pain from that day, where for one moment, she didn't know if he would keep the promise he made when they were younger.

Cloud nodded, "Sometimes I still get terrified....and I think of them and everything they did for us. It reminds me that....even though things go wrong and we get scared and doubt ourselves....they have faith in us and I know that they're watching us somewhere saying, 'Come on guys....you can do it.' " he said softly.

Tifa faintly smiled.
"I can only hope that's what they're doing and not laughing at us," she replied just as softly. She constantly thanked both Aerith and Zack for bringing Cloud back to her.

Tifa gasped silently as a blush heated on her cheeks.
"Wh-Why would they laugh at you?" she asked with a very slight and soft stutter, looking up at him.

"Are you sure you're okay? Did you hit your head?" she asked, moving his head gently and examining for any injury. She bit her lip as she did so. Leaning up was stretching out her wound.

"Are you sure you're not hurt?" she asked.
There was that motherly streak of hers.

She weakly limped over to a wall and slid down agaimst it, resting within the flowers.
