Matt looked at him, " well that was the first time I havn't wanted to kill her and tried and been silent for five minutes. " he told Conner studying his hands just to do something.

Blake walked into the store and imeadiatly went to buy what he needed and more.

Connor rose an eyebrow, "So the thought of killing your sister didn't even cross your mind?"

Adam listened to the conversation, maybe this was a new step for Matt and Maggie.

"Hold up, Blake." Maggie said coming up behind him, "Adam said only get what you need for Connor and what you need to replenish your kit. I don't have enough money here for the whole store, and the kitchen sink."

Matt shrugged, " maybe a bit that was really low of her," he said to them looking at the carpet of the car, something for him to do.

Blake pouted, " all right I need all but this knee bandage and this pair of pliers and maybe the metal setting rods..." he said trailing off and soon was putting back an armload of medical supplies.

Maggie couldn't help but laugh, "I would be worried to ever give you an unlimited budget for in here." She said following behind him.

Connor cocked his head, "Which part, you've both had your moments."

Blake smiled, " we would then be prepared for any and every situation imaginable and unimaginable," he told her giving her a wink as he set the other pile of medical supplies on the counter waiting for someone to come check them out.

Matt nodded, " yeah I know." he said to him rolling his eyes and leaning back in the seat with an over exaggerated sigh.

Maggie couldn't help but laugh, "Im not sure whether that would be good or bad," she said as she fiddled with the wad of cash she was given.

Connor looked at him wanted to make a comment but he refrained. "So, got any good stories for us. I have a feeling where ever we are going will take a while."
"Just think of it as a prolonged road trip to no where." Adam smiled, as he had moved to the driver's seat.

Matt shook his head, " not really we got hand cuffed a lot the guards didn't like us fighting over stupid little things," he told them looking at the ceiling if the car, it was carpeted not made of cement like the prison. " laddie probably does, you should ask her when they get out. I'm not to good with holding onto the book of stories."

Blake walked out after maggie had payed and put the things in the trunk not in need of anything yet. He hopped into the passenger seat and closed the door hard wishing he could drive again but not objecting to Adam driving.

Adam watched Blake walk up to the driver side door, he rolled down the window, stuck his head out and waved, "Nice try, partner." He gave a corny smile as he watched his brother sadly go to the other side.
Connor scooted back to the middle and Maggie slid in, "So Matt couldn't tell us any stories, do you have any?"
Maggie looked at him, "We were in solitary confinement for four years, you think I gotta story? I mean besides them hand cuffing us to our beds when we fought."
Connor looked away he felt bad.

Blake sighed and went to the passenger side. He smiled to his brother as he got in, " I got everything I needed and maybe just a tiny bit more than that." he said closing the door and looking back at the others.

Matt sat quietly very happy to be out of the prison, much more than he was expressing or had expressed.

Adam looked at Maggie, "He's like trying to keep a dog on a leash in a dog park. It's not possible," she admitted. "At least it wasn't everything."
Adam started the car not really needing to continue the conversation.

The car ride started out silent. And it bugged Connor, he couldnt stand silence for to long, of course sitting in a car to long wasn't to good for him either.

Maggie looked out the window. She wondered if her and her brother would ever be cleared. She glanced at Connor. They never would, Connor didn't know she knew, know one did. And she knew if she told anyone it would be her brother, then he would want to kill Connor first the. Her for not telling.
She couldn't risk that.

Matt fell asleep his head slumped upon his chest his mouth closed in a tight pale line, as if he fell asleep biting his lip, he would twitch every now and then a sudden small movement or two that never seemed to wake him up.

Blake sat in the front seat trying to not fall asleep the road so relaxing it was hard especially with the silence filling the car in an almost uncomfortable way. ' Conner would be particullarly uncomfortable with the silence," Blake thought to himself a small smile edging it's way to his lips.

Connor tapped his toe which ended in him moving his entire leg. He needed noise, "Adam put a tape in for Christ's sake."
"They're in the trunk, I'll get 'em when we get to the motel." He paused, that would be when it got dark he was sure of it.
Connor sighed. He looked at Maggie. Her sleep seemed restless, but at the same time it seemed peaceful. Matt looked similar.

Blake sighed wishing he had thought to bring sone of them with him when he came back. " this should be boring." he muttered under his breath turning to look at the people in the back his brother the only one awake. He smiled and turned back around to face the road again as car after car passed them.

"Nonsense." Adam said, "I spy with my little eye, something."
He couldn't say what he saw because Connor groaned, "We are not twelve Adam."
Adam looked at him, then Blake, "Just trying it to not make it boring."

Balke smirked, " by making it more boring bravo my brother bravo." he said in his most posh and pompuse voice he could create raising his pinky and raising invisible speckticals to his noes to look disapprovingly at his older brother a high and mighty look on his face.

"Then you think of something," Adam said rolling his eyes.
Connor just sighed, "Well we got to do something. Car rides have never been thing."
Maggie turned in her sleep, leaning against Connor, who now couldn't move because of it.

Blake shrugged, " I have no idea so sorry bud," he said to him brother smiling and grudging again. Conner seemed to be in a jam stuck where he was due to maggie leaning on him. He resisted a laugh knowing he kin of wanted to be in conners place.

Connor gave a grin to the sleeping Maggie. "Well talking is always an option. Just not silence, please."
Maggie whimpered a little. Even in prison something happened to her that Matt didn't know about.
Her face looked even more restless than before. She nuzzled into Connor's chest trying to get comfortable, and to make the memory turned nightmare away. But it wasn't that easy.

Blake smiled, " um talk about what?" he asked his brother out of ideas. He could only think of the alphabet game where you try and find things that start with a then b then c ect goes on all the way to z.

Adam laughed, "Oh we are going somewhere, it's away from any person who could be following us."
Connor chuckled.
Maggie shifted again.
"Or we could talk about the fact it seems like Maggie is having a nightmare."

Blake looked back , " it seems they both are maybe it's about prison I've read about how they treat the murders there and it wasn't a theme park ride more like living hell," he told them leaning back into his seat his smile fading.

"Well they both said stuff about being hand cuffed to their beds, that couldn't have been fun." Adam said.
Connor couldn't help but feel worried, "What did what you read say?"

Blake thought back, " well punishment can consist of no food for the day, no water for the day, whippings, and they interstate you like everyother day or like surprise days just to see if your story stays the same. Um they also have nasty food there made of undesirable cow parts. Stuff that's nasty in their food."

Connor visibly shivered. That was horrible. No person deserved that. Not Matt and Maggie. A pain of guilt hit him, but it quickly disappeared. They were out now he had no need to worry.
"You think all that happened to them?" Adam asked, not the curious one.

Blake shrugged again, " I don't know but probably they fight a lot," he said to him looking at him hands and remembering the book the pictures of horrid things about the modern prisons.

Another pang of guilt hit Connor.
But he didn't have much time to dwell on it. Because Maggie shot up breathing heavily. She checked he surroundings studying their faces. She gave a sigh she wasn't in jail, there was no prison guard who beat her every time her brother was escorted to the bathroom down the hall.
