Amaria furrowed her brow. She'd been going to apologize. She nodded. "I won't." She replied before quietly approaching him. "You alright?" she asked softly.

Griffin looked at her, she wasn't even there, he could have been really snarky. But in that moment he was hurt. "No," he said as honestly as he could while trying not to cry.

Griffin, looked at her. He didn't know if he wanted to talk about it, but shook his head, yes. And began to go to room more private.

He went into a room which was at first look was a guest room but in reality it was his. He sat on the bed, and put his head in his hands.

Amaria pulled a chair up and waited, not pushing him to tell her anything. He'd say what he needed in his own time.

"He knew him. He had met him, had conversations. Then he just snapped his neck, like he was nothing. Foster was my best friend," he then just began to cry, "What am I supposed to do, I can't lead a quest worth crap, I loose friends left and right, and my best friend kills my dad without a second thought, then goes for my mom." Griffin was now balling, taking deep breaths.

Griffin was a complete and utter mess. Combined with what had happened to him on the quest, he knew he couldn't lead it anymore. He knew it wasn't his place to. "You need to lead the rest of the quest." he told her.

"No you were being you. This quest should have been yours in the first place." He had never lead a quest, he knew that this out of all of them was one he just wasn't able to do.

Amaria: "Back at the hotel when you said that it wasn't my quest. I never even gave you a chance to lead. For most, leading isn't natural and I know that. I'm truly sorry. I shouldn't have just stepped in like that and-I'm babbling again, aren't I?" I ended in annoyance at myself.

He shrugged, "Again you were doing what you do best. I was never cut out to be a leader." He was much more like Hermes than Poseidon any day.

Amaria smiled. "You never know. For most, leading is an aquired skill, but you seem much more like one to defy orders than give them," she said warmly.

"I'm related to Hermes, and Luke Castellen it is my blood. I'm more like Hermes than Poseidon any day." he said, it had a bit of an attitude, but it was sincere.

"Brilliant, thanks dad," he said sarcastically. He hated his dad even more, and even with there talk. "I would think fighting Lupa, I would feel like him, with the horse, and water," he sighed, "But I didn't. I'm the biggest failure."
