Amaria smiled and nodded. "Thank you, and I'm sorry. First for what happened to Mr. Walters and second for not having met you before now. Your a very kind woman and I can tell that Griffin takes after you."

She smiled, "It's quite alright, and thank you. Only Foster and some other boy who I can't remember the name of right now have met us before. They met us on a quest a long time ago." She said, talking about the quest that the three of them went on that gave them the scars.

Rory had taken a shower, and came down, and Cory was in the process of it.

Amaria smiled. "Erik." Her brother was a fond memory for her. Amaria turned and started on dinner.

Mrs. Walters nodded, "They were very close friends," she said.

Griffin broke out in a cold sweat but still couldn't wake up from his dream. His dream of him drowning.

Amaria nodded. "Erik is actually how I met Griff." she said as she mixed up some soup.

Aiden leaned against the wall, listening.

Rory listened in.
"I never approved of my father and my first husband's plan to have Hermes claim him." She said. That was along time ago.
"What was he like, the same person pretty much, because even after all this with his memory, which was very hard on us, he was still the same person."

Mrs. Walters gave her a nod.

Griffin finally woke from his dream with a start, breathing heavily like he hadn't breathed air in years. He was still sweating, and he looked pale. He walked down stairs, feeling like crap.

Amaria poured her a bowl and took it to her. She saw Griffin and nodded. "How're you feeling?"

Mrs. Walters took the bowl, "Thank you." She looked at her son, "What was it about this time?"
She always seemed to know when her son had nightmares.
Cory leaned in, as did Rory.
"I don't even know, something under water was trying to kill me, and I was drowning, and couldn't breath. Then I was trapped, and It wasn't good."

"How's that even possible? Your dad's Poseidon."
Griffin shrugged, "I feel less like a son of Poseidon every day. I can't even mop up the water in the kitchen."

His mom gave him a sympathetic look, "You are like him."
Griffin shook his head, "Mom, I don't even look like him. And I know for a fact that I look exactly like Luke and Hermes, I can't control water anymore, I bet by tomorrow I wont even be able to ride a horse successfully."
His mom frowned, "That wont happen."
Griffin just ignored her and went outside, his two dogs coming up to greet him.
Rory looked at Cory, David, Aiden, and Amaria, "Well now what?" She looked to Amaria.
Cory said, "I say we leave him here for a bit, let him cool down, then come back for him.
Rory didn't like that idea, he would be prone to Foster, if Foster still wanted to come after him.

Amaria made an executive decision. "Since it's late, we'll stay the night here and go in the morning. I'll have Aiden and David stay behind with Grif and we'll be back in a weeks time, alright?"

Corry nodded. Rory still hesitant nodded. She wasn't to thrilled about leaving anyone behind. She also wasn't thrilled about Griffin just giving his quest to Amaria. To her the quest was still his, even if it was Foster's idea, she liked it.

Amaria did feel off, it hadn't been my decision. She saw it as just substituting for him until he got better. "Good, now who wants soup?"

Cory looked outside, feeling bad for her friend, she went over and got some soup as well.

Griffin looked at his childhood home, and he wished, just wished that his mom hadn't met Poseidon. He wished he was never born. His memory would have never been erased, he wouldn't be in this predicament, at all.

Amara sat on the steps beside him silently, looking up at the dark sky. She'd decided to keep her mouth shut. She'd just let him know what was there, not necessarily just to listen. She would if he needed but just to back him up too.
