"Brilliant, thanks dad," he said sarcastically. He hated his dad even more, and even with there talk. "I would think fighting Lupa, I would feel like him, with the horse, and water," he sighed, "But I didn't. I'm the biggest failure."

Amaria shook her head. "You are not. And, I would hope you felt like you. Your father doesn't make you. It's all about your mindset."

[Charlie]

He shrugged, "It doesn't matter. The quest is yours now, so where too. Well after the cops question us?" he asked.

Amaria nodded and stood. "We'll all figure it out after the cops ask. I think we should discuss it as a group."

[Charlie]

He nodded, and headed out of the room, following her.

Amaria walked out and approached David to ask him to tell me what he'd come up with.

Rory gave Griffin a look, "Amaria is in charge," he told her.
Rory nodded.
But Cory didn't want that to happen. This was his quest. But for now she kept her mouth shut.

Amaria nodded as she memorized the story. "Alright," she responded just as a squad car pulled up.

Griffin took one look at his dad, and lost it again. It was all for the cops right. He might not have been close with him, but he was a father figure.

Aiden put a comforting hand on his shoulder and Amaria leaned against the wall, watching Griffin with a worried frown.

From the way that everyone was worried about the kid, they figured he was the son. David stood and walked up. "May I help you, officer?" The officer nodded.

"Mind telling us the story, son?"

[Charlie]

Griffin's mom stood in the doorway and watched as David explained everything, he most certainly was a son of Hermes. She gave a worried glance to Griffin. She knew his relationship with Poseidon was a bit rocky, but now he had no stable father figure.

The officer nodded and mentally groaned as he questioned here. "And, he fell down the stairs?"

"Yes sir, I think my friend said that..." she said politely. He went around and went to question the others. Once he was down he went to converse with his partner. Eventually, they left, and David slumped in relief."

[Charlie]

Griffin eventually stopped crying. He gave a slight smile to Aiden and hugged his mom. "I'm so sorry."
"Its okay." Then she whispered, "And its okay about the quest, they were never our family's strong suit."
That made Griffin laugh, though he knew it was sad as to the actual reason why.
He looked at the group.
"So now what Amaria?" Rory asked.

Amaria looked at the group. "Well, you tell me. You guys tell me what you want to do. I was thinking, if it were alright with Griff's mom, we'd stay here and rest for a bit while I catch up with Chiron. It seems everyone needs to rest."

[Charlie]

Rory nodded.
Mrs. Walters nodded, "That's fine you are welcome to stay here how ever long you need." Well she was a child of Hermes, it was bound to happen that she would welcome the travelers.
"Best place for a Iris message is the faucet for the hose out back," Griffin told her.

Amaria nodded, and headed back, pulling a drachma from her pack.

David smiled. "Thank you very much, Mrs. Walkers."

[Charlie]

"No problem, David. I might not have gone to camp, but I am still a chiild of Hermes, I still have those tendencies."
Griffin facepalmed, this was embarassing.
"Come on Rory, lets go move his dad." Rory said, "Do you mind, if we bury him out back, by the barn?" she asked Mrs. Walters, who shook her head.
Rory grabbed his feet. Griffin went to the kitchen the sink still broken.
Water was everywhere, "Well shit," he said. "Some son of Poseidon I am, can't fix a damn pipe."

Aiden walked over. "I can do it..." he offered. "My dad was a plumber."

Amaria explained it all to Chiron and he pressed for what she hadn't mentioned. She looked around and sighed. "While I was away, I ran into Foster. He tried to get me to join him."

[Charlie]

Griffin handed him the wrench, "Please do." He looked at the water. He let this happen, because a son of Poseidon couldn't fix a pipe, that held water.

Rory and Cory, carried Griffin's dad out to the barn, and began digging, with shovels Rory found inside it.

Aiden unzipped his hoodie and layed it on a chair, fixing the sink.

Amaria looked sadly at the sight; she'd never met the man, but she knew he was Griffin's dad figure. She wish she knew what to say.

[Charlie]

Griffin left the kitchen. He was useless. He went up to his room. He barely remembered it he had been gone for a months. He had been running so long with Eric to get him to camp. It was the exact same way it always was, even before his memory was lost, he knew that.

Amaria ended the Iris Message and walked back in.

[Charlie]

Mrs. Walters was now on the couch trying to figure out what she should do. She had lost alot of family, to evil.

After about an hour Cory and Rory came in, and sat on a few chairs, exhausted. "Guest rooms are upstairs." Mrs. Walters said, "Any room, except Griffin's but his has a sign on the door, so you'll know whose it is."

Amaria approached Mrs. Walters "Would it be alright if I use you kitchen?" she asked. "I was hopping to make some food for everyone."

[Charlie]

"No go ahead, my house is your house. Though the floor is probably still wet from the sink." She said.
Griffin collapsed on his bed and fell asleep, and was plagued with nightmares.

Amaria smiled and nodded. "Thank you, and I'm sorry. First for what happened to Mr. Walters and second for not having met you before now. Your a very kind woman and I can tell that Griffin takes after you."
