Nite sighed. "Things are bad, Ayumi. Sakura's dead. I'm at our spot, I don't know where Sasuke and Naruto are." she said, not having the energy to beat around the bush.

Ayumi's golden eyes widened. "W..Wh-What?" Tears swam in her eyes, sadness evident on her face. "I'm on my way." She hung up and turned to Sai, who looked confused as ever.

Nite sighed and sat huddled against the cherry tree and smiled at the Irony. The flowers were in full bloom when their own little flower had just withered.
(Oh! Oh! Can I be Sai?!)
"What is the matter?" He asked, cocking his head to the side.

(hah of course. (: i think i teared up a little when i read nites part. ): beautiful and sad) Ayumi let out a choked up sob, tears staining her fair skinned face. "S-Sakura...She...She's dead..." Ayumi shook with grief, crying for the loss of her other best friend.

Sai instinctively pulled her into a soft, though uncharacteristic embrace. "I'm sorry, Ayumi."
(Lol, yay! i've never actually watched th Sai eppisodes. So sad. I saw the one where he doesn't speak. The first Naruto Shippuden movie. And I almost cried too.)
Nite didn't cry. If you saw her, you would think she didn't care. But if you knew her, you'd realize that she couldn't cry. It hurt too much. She threw her head back releasing the angry scream she'd forced back earlier.

Ayumi looked up at the sky, hearing the scream. She looked back to Sai. "Find Naruto and make sure he doesn't do anything reckless. I'm going to go to Nite." She ran off.

Sai nodded and went to find Naruto.

Nite had resorted to hitting anything she could find. SHe was angry- angry at Orochimaru for causing so much trouble and wounding Sakura. Angry at Sakura for being so wreckless. But most of all, she was angry at herself. It was her fault. She'd created the demon. She'd led Sakura into danger. She'd failed her best friend.

Gentle hands gripped Nite's wrists. "Nite, stop." Ayumi's face was sadness plagued and tear streaked. Soft gentle winds blew past the blonde haired hokage, almost like the winds were Sakura and she was carressing him. A few cherry blossom flowers had been carried by the wind.

Naruto looked up when he heard footsteps and looked into Sai's face. "Hey." He said sadly.

Nite nodded. "It is. The curse...the demon was my fault. I led her into a risky attack when our powers mixed with Sasukes and they reacted badly with Sakura. I made the call for that. It's. My. Fault."

Ayumi's hand flew across her face with a loud smack. "Goddamnit, Nite!! Stop blaming yourself! PLEASE!" The golden haired kunoichi broke down into tears.

Nite rubbed her shoulders. "Sakura wouldn't want us upset. She would want us to be proud for her." Nite said. "She'd want us to remember the good times. LIke that time when we TP'ed Kakashi's house? O-Or when we covered Sai-chan in shaving cream."

Naruto went back to his house, unable to even go past Sakura's house.
