Johnny- _researching-nothing interesting to write_
Lila: I grimaced at the driver, he had done nothing but glance back at me as he drove. Sure I looked a bit, what was e best word? Out of place? Different? Scary? My parent had decided that I could wear whatever I wanted because it didn't matter what I wore I'd they controlled my life. The only thing that seemed normal to me was my hair, I had my waist length auburn hair in a thick braid, it was as simple as I could get it.
The rest of me, well...
Let's just say I wore it to piss off my parents.
I wore a tight plaid miniskirt with fishnet stockings that had little red bows attached in various spots. My black combat books had red lace attached around the seams and, I thought, tied in with the tights nicely. A simple black tank top and a short white T sat ontop. The t shirt had a little red rose on it, sensing a theme here, I hope so. My face held only a light amount of makeup, dark around the eyes and a reddish lipgloss, but no piercings I only had a few on my ears.
Overall it wasn't my most rebel outfit that I had so I figured it'd be fine. I had decided to either tell my parents that male number three was unfit for me or I intended to scare him away.
Whichever came first.
I groaned as the car stopped in front of the simple house and with a glare from me the driver quickly stepped out and opened my door. I slipped out and sighed, here goes a good hour of my time.
I walked up to the front door and knocked, trying not to look irritated.

Molly: I flinched and began to back away, he.. Fergie.. I couldn't see him.
"I-I.."
I whimpered and glanced around for my exits. It was a forest so there were a few acceptable ones but Fergie was faster and more knowledgeable about this place. I couldn't let him catch me, I wouldn't want to leave.
I blushed realizing my stupid outfit as I reached for a smoke pellet.
"Please keep your beast contained and I won't have to bother you anymore.."
I choked out.

Fergie: "Oh, it wasn't a problem for me. But what? Sally here? She's as good as gold. Aren't you?"
Walking over to the large beast, I placed a hand gently on her neck as she slowly began to run her head against my chest. True, she was something that isn't initially a good idea for a pet, but she was actually quite well trained. And the fact that she usually just remained in the back garden meant that she was never a problem, especially when you think that we have no neighbours around for a good distance. Sometimes she just liked to explore, is all.
"Sorry about that though. Maybe next time we should keep a closer eye on her, eh?"
Then, with a loud thump, Sally rolled onto her side, her face looking like a kitten that was looking for a tummy scratch, something that I did as I watched Molly's face.
I did miss her, and her just being there, is having a conversation... It was all just perfectly better than I thought.

Robin: "Robin! Can you get that please?"
With a sigh, I hid the book under a selection of pillows before walking over to the door. I gently let out a sigh, wondering what this girl would look like. It would probably be a princess in a robe, similar to what was shown in all of the movies. As I peered through the peep hole, I almost scoffed at what I saw
"This will be interesting..." I muttered.
Opening the door slightly, I peered from around the corner at the girl. She did look like a bit of a tart, something that I knew did not float Oli's boat. This will be interesting.
"Hello," I smiled, putting on a serious voice, "Can I help you?"

Molly: I smiled at the beast, she was much sweeter when she wasn't chewing on bunnies. I looked back at Fergie and winced.
I wanted to kiss him.
I adjusted my stupid leather and polyester outfit instead.
"I'm not really good anymore.. I've done a lot of not so nice things.." I replied thinking back to all the sacrifices Lilith made me do.
It was either kill bambi or my friends die.
Suffice to say bambi was no more and I spent two days crying.

Lila: I smiled sweetly at her, a look I had perfected over the years, and nodded.
"I'm here to see your older brother please."
I flashed a timid smile while inside I felt like vomiting. My actions were so different from what I was wearing it was like I was bipolar or something. I twirled my braid in my fingers and studied the girl, something was diffrent about her.

The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production) - Page 32 Empty Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)

Fergie: I gulped, my mouth and lips turning dry from anxiousness, just from looking at her, looking into her eyes, the same old eyes that lit up a room like a beacon when she smiled.
"Do you really think that I care? Molly, I love you, and I don't care what you've done because I know that you wouldn't have done it from choice. No matter what situation you're in I know that I will love you, and no matter what you do in the future I will always love you, just because you're you, the same girl that I met during our first day of high school when I accidentally tripped over Bobby Johnson's feet and hurled my plate of food onto your lap. Ever since that moment I knew that I wanted to be with you, no matter what it took... Sure, I might be seen as rambling right now, but that's only because I want, no, need to tell you exactly how I feel about you even though I've said it a thousand times before, but just for another time incase you never heard it before. Molly, I love you with all of my heart, now, always and forever."
Without another thought, I stepped closer to her, wrapping my arms around her waist as I pressed my lips against her's. At this moment, I didn't care if Lilith would want to kill me, I just needed this moment.

Robin: Just as I thought.
With a sigh, I nodded, turning around to face the stairs. Taking a deep breath, I began to yell.
"Oli! There's someone at the door for you!"
Going back to the door, I swung it open and a put a hand out in that gesture to let her in.
"Come in, he'll be down in a minute," I smiled sweetly, tilting my head to the side to look as welcoming as possible, "I think he was just changing out of his work jeans. The shelves just decided to collapse."
Walking into the living room, I picked up the cat off of the floor and tucked him into my chest as I walked back out again.
"Take a seat wherever you want."
With another smile, I walked out again, deciding that it would probably work out best if I didn't hang around for too long; I just heard Angie beginning to clump through to where all the noise was coming from, and I didn't want to hinder Angie from bein herself. Also, I think it was a good time to ask Johnny what he knew about this girl.

Molly: I kissed him back for a moment before breaking the kiss and crying into his shirt.
"I..I can't... WHY ARE YOU SO DAMN CUTE?....." I sobbed into his chest.
I didn't want to let him go but I couldn't be with him, Lilith would kill him. Even if he didn't care about that it didn't mean I was okay with it. Despite Lilith's old weak looks she was far from that when it came to the amount of power she possessed.
She scared me.

Lila: I sat carefully with my back straight and a blank expression. Well, that was until a girl crawled in and stared at me. I stared back. His sister perhaps?
"Meow." I said in complete seriousness.

Johnny: I rubbed my eyes and grimaced at the glinting computer screen. After a while it kind of makes your eyes burn...

Fergie: Of course I knew that, but even so my brows furrowed as I lifted her head off my chest, gently wiping away a few of her tears with my thumb. With a small sigh, I gently took her chin.
"What's the matter?" I asked, though it was quite obvious what it was.
Gently, I took a step back, holding onto her arms to help her stay up. Okay, I felt terrible now, but I was still on cloud nine from that kiss. Even so, I held up her head again, but with no idea what to say.

Robin: "Speed dial seven..."
Tapping my fingers on the bedpost, I let out a small sigh as I waited for him to pick up. I needed to know about this girl, and whatever he knew about her would be useful.

Angie stopped immediately in her steps. Getting off of her fours, she stood on her feet as she stared at the new girl.
"Meow to you too."
She folded her arms as she began to walk over to her, the fake tail swinging behind her like a metronome. Scratching the end of her nose, she took a seat next to her.
"Who are you?"

Molly: "She'll make me kill you.." I cried.
I pushed him away and turned, I couldn't risk him, my selfish needs weren't worth more than his life. "It's bad enough I have to wear this stupid outfit.." I murmured.

Johnny: I jolted awake from my phone and picked it up. "Hello, Johnny speaking, how may I help you?"

Lila: "I'm Lila, and you are?" I replied curtly.
I pulled out a packet of gum from my shirt's pocket and offered it to her with a smile. "Want one?"

Fergie: "I'd like to see her try. And Molly, you don't look stupid. You could be wearing a giant chicken suit and I would still think that you were beautiful."
I rested a hand on her shoulder gently as I let out a smooth sigh. I didn't know what I had to do to show her that I didn't care about Lilith. Sure, I owed her quite a lot, but even so...
"And I mean that."

Robin: "Johnny, it's Robin, put this number in your phone book, eh?"
With a laugh, I picked up my pillow and rested it onto my lap, just so that I could rest my elbows on there. Filing my fingers through my hair, I began to twirl one one of my locks around a finger.
"Anyway, that girl's turned up. She looks...different."
I had to suppress the laughter that I could feel brimming from inside me. Even so, I continued to stare at the mirror that I had hanging from the back of the door. Damn, I looked tired. I looked more like a zombie than a human being...but then again I didn't know what I was now, if I was even human.
"And what exactly are you researching?" I blabbed, my mouth over taking my tiring mind, "I never asked."

(Forgot Angie and Lila)

Angie: With a nod, I took some of the gum. As I began to unpeel the silver away from the minty chew, I gave her a smile.
"My name's Angie... So, you're a friend of Oli's I take it? Generally he doesn't bring his friends around here. They say that they're scared of the cat. Marcus is fine though, he just sometimes doesn't like strangers."
With a shrug, I shoved he gum in my mouth and began to chew as I began to watched the shelves creak slightly. Maybe Oli wasn't the beat person to put up the shelves after all. I bet that a monkey could have done a better job.

(np.. Sorry I thought I had posted something :/)
Molly: I pushed him away and looked at him sadly. "I know you don't care but I do, if you die I won't be able to live with myself.. Especially if it's me who kills you. I.. I love you too but you're.. You are making too hard for me.. I have to leave.."
I began to make my way away from, my tears falling onto the ground, where they fell little blue flowers grew. "Dammit.. Not again.."

Fergie: "I do.. I'm just a bit too tired to look at the caller I.d... Anyway not to sound like a creeper but I'm researching you and your family, that and magic. Nothing new. Did you read that book yet?" I asked while rubbing my eyes.

Lila: I smiled at the girl and nodded. "Yeah.. A friend. All animals need time to get used to someone, it's natural to be wary of strangers."
I flinched at the creaking of the shelves, that wasn't a particularly confidence inspiring sound.
"Where is that brother of yours anyway?"

The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production) - Page 32 Empty Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)

Post by OpenTheDoor Fri Dec 23, 2011 8:31 am

(No worries Smile and you accidentally wrote Fergie instead of Johnny in that last post Wink)

Fergie: "Fine, leave," I called, not even noticing the flowers that had started to bloom by her feet, "but I promise you that things will be back to normal as soon as I can figure it out. Robin and Johnny might not be worrying as much as I am but we all still need you back... I'll see you later."
And whether later was in a day, a week, a year or even a decade's time, I knew that I would see her again. And if it got me killed...I might need a plan instead of just following my gut. But either way, I knew it.
With a pat of Sally's neck, I began to walk her away into the thick overgrowth of the forest, gently humming the lullaby that I remembered from deep in my past. If I had stuck around for any longer then things would have just gotten worse.

Robin: "Not really. And that's a thick heavy book, you can't expect me to read it all in half an hour..."
He was looking at my family? What, was there a huge archive of people and magic on the Internet that anyone can access? That would be a rather interesting find.
Then it hit me.
"Is my dad on there? He's British and, as I remember telling you shortly after we first met, he went back to England when Angie was a baby... Is his name on there? If not then that might be the place to look through."
Slowly, I began to chew my nails, thinking over what I just said. That would make sense, actually. Mom never said anything nor have I ever seen anything weird about her and if it was coming up in the search that everything was normal...
"Or I could have a mutant gene."

Angie: I shrugged as I walked out of the room again. She was nice, that Lila. I hope that Oli and her can be friends for a long time now, but the way that she was dressed did not seem like she just wanted to be friends.
"Oh well."
"Angie, who was at the door?"
Looking up the stairs to the sound of thunder, Oli came running down with just a plain white shirt and slouched jeans on. He was ruffling his hair dry with a towel as he reached the bottom steps, but then threw it on the railing after a few more seconds.
"A girl called Lila," I smiled, "She seemed nice and I liked her boots. I want those for Christmas now."
With a small grin, I began to crawl up the stairs to see where Robin was. I needed to ask her something.

Oli: "Alright...then."
I had to shrug it off; Angie was most definitely the strangest of my two little sisters, though really not by too much. But I have never heard of a Lila before... Maybe she couldn't remember what Ricky's name was and said the first one that came to her head.
Opening the door, however, I had to say that I was somewhat surprised: maybe Angie was right.
"Hello... Do I know you?"

(face palm)
Molly: I ran as fast as I could away, tears falling like niagra falls and my heart felt like it had been ripped out. I stumbled along notmreally focusing on my surroundings, I just had to get away. I loved him though...
I paused long enough for my foot to catch on a branch and make a loud and lovely crackling noise as I fell.
The small scream of pain was pretty loud too.
Crap.

Johnny: "I knew that already, Robby that was like the first place I looked and with it came great knowledge. His name is Lance though, I don't was to disappoint but no he did not participate in fencing. He was or is also a magical being, I don't know what exactly but something pretty powerful..." I said reading through my notes."The book isn't that big, I could finish in much less than half-hour.."

Lila: I looked up and smiled sweetly. "No, not at all. If you want to continue being a free," at this part I brought in the air quotes," 'Human' then you'll have to be truly honest. I'm not trying to be the bad guy in any way here, just trying to escape and so far it isn't working because I'm here..."
My voice had completely different intentions than my body, on one hand my voice was monotone but a bit desperate on the other my body was polite and helpful looking, aside from the punk clothes.
"Your little sisters is really sweet anyway.." I added smiling.
I stood and adjusted my tops, rearranging the way they hugged my body then turned my attention back to him. I quickly began to walk around him, studying him and taking mental notes.
"Ever made wierd things happen that you couldn't explain?"

Fergie: I want turn back. I should turn back... I would turn back if I could turn back without upsetting Molly or me any further. But then Sally turned her head at the sound of a snap.
"What's that, girl?" I murmured, stroking her neck again, "Yeah, that was a load noise... Do you reckon that that was Molly?"
As the beast seemed to nod, I let out a sigh.
"Should we go back?"
Sally rolled onto her back. That looked like a yes.
"Fine, but you have to stay here..."
But before I could do anything, she bolted, jumping over the logs that were in her path, following the trail of blue flowers until she reached the girl.

Robin: I let out a shaky sigh as I began to stroke Marcus' back again. Now I knew my dad's name.
"My dad was a powerful magical being? Any idea on what kind? I don't really own any real pictures of him expect one that was water-logged and you can only really see Angie as a baby on it... Oh jeese, I'm gonna get emotional."
Clasping onto the space of my nose in between my eyes, I gently closed them. Almost instantly, Marcus rested his paws on my leg and began to rub his head against my chest, mewing as he looked up to my eyes. It must have been the powers that he suddenly decided to like me... But then why did he like Angie so much?...
Grabbing a pen from the side, I began to scrawl her name on the back of my hand, all up until someone knocked on the door.
"One sec," I murmured, lowering the phone from my mouth, "Come in."
Slowly, the door swung open with Angie standing there, chewing loudly on a piece of gum. I gave a small smirk at her as Marcus clambered onto my shoulders.
"I need to speak with you," she sighed, swinging her arms a little wildly.
"Ditto, but I'm on the phone at the moment. We'll chat in a moment, okay?"
My little sister nodded before tilting her head to the side, "Why are you crying?"
"I'm not crying," I mumbled, scratching the cat's head, "Close to it."
"Why?"
As she slumped down on the bed, I let out a little sigh. I couldn't tell her. She was too young.
"Just something that Johnny said," I shrugged, being careful not to lie.
"Is he breaking up with you?" she asked innocently.
But before I could say anything, she hugged me, pressing her face into the side of my arm. I put down the phone to hug her, my fingers fiddling with the ends of her hair for a few seconds before I pulled away again.
"No, fortunately," I smiled, letting go of her, "It's nothing, really."
"Oh...okay... But if you ever need to talk you know where I live."
Angie winked at me before walking out again.
Well, that was weird... Quite weird.
"Alright back," I said, picking up the phone again, "But I'm a slow reader. It took me a good day to read The Very Hungry Caterpillar."

Oli: My brows furrowed. If I wasn't confused before, then I definitely was now.
"Look, if I have no who you are meant to be and asking weird questions, then I'm going to have to ask you to leave. If you want to use the phone to call someone it's in the hallway, but if not then you know where the door is."
Walking back to the door, I opened it, putting my hand out to show her to go through it. Yes, she was quite pretty, but she also seemed to be high, either that or she's here to prank me... She's probably Ricky's new girlfriend or something.
"And you met my sisters? I'm surprised that Robin let you in."

The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production) - Page 32 Empty Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)

Post by bookcrazI Fri Dec 23, 2011 5:48 pm

Molly: I whimpered and began to search for healing spells in my head only to remember we hand't started that yet. Just as despair began to creep in the Chimaera, Sally, came bound over and curled around my shaking body. I hugged the creature and began to cry, letting out all the tears and soaking Sally's pelt.
"I'm sorry.. I just make such a mess of everything... Stupid Fergie.. Why do I love him?"

Johnny: I grimaced throughout the whole thing. "Well maybe you should read my notes on it instead, do you want to come over? Seriously because it's getting so much harder to stay away from you.. Especially when you were just crying..."
Especially because I felt like I had caused it.

Lila: I sighed and rubbed my temples in an attempt not to scream, both from frustration and utter despair. This guy held almost all the qualities my parents were searching for and they wouldn't take no for an answer, not from anyone.
"Look, I'll put this more clear; I am not here by my own free will, I do not want to be here. I am not a friend or girlfriend of this Rick guy, I am trying really hard not to be impolite. I might be forced into an arranged marriage with you for your genetics, Robin probably knows that already considering her boyfriend, I am just trying to get this overwith so I can go home and expect another miserable day in the life of me. Ever had to pee with a supervisor standing near to make sure you're not going to escape? I have and still do. So just cooperate. Please." I said my voice pleading.
I must've sounded crazy.
I felt crazy.

The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production) - Page 32 Empty Re: The Ye Old Shoppe o' Curiosities (An OpenBook Production)

Fergie: Now she was crying? Now how was I meant to stay away? It was impossible enough before hand, but at the sound of her voice I knew that I had to turn back, at least to make sure that Sally wasn't terrorising the toddler group around the corner.
And as I walked up, I let out a brief sigh, watching as my dear pet cuddled up next to my even dearer girl. Then I noticed her ankle.
"Hold still, I think I remember something."
Walking passed he two girl, I strode up to one of the large oak trees that were tree and snatched of a handleful of leaves from a lightening-lowered branch. From a bush, I plucked off a few berries and put them into my pocket.
"I might not know spells, but I know a good herbal remedy for healing. And it might not be th strongest, but it'll work until you find yourself a book or something."
After collecting a few more pieces, I walked over to Sally and took out a cup that was in the pouch that she carried on her back. I prepared the herbs and put them into the cup, then handed it to Molly, trying not to meet her eyes on purpose.
"If I remember correctly, that is. Peter always said that I was the worst one for memory..."

Robin: I chuckle slightly as I wiped my snotty nose on the sleeve of my jumper.
"I'll ask. It's almost meal time so I don't know if I can..."
But as I jumped up from my seat on the bed, I peered down at the book that I took up, the one that I was told to read.
Then I remembered that it was my dad.
"I'll be over in a bit. Where do you live?"
Resting the phone on my shoulder, I swung on my jacket and grabbed a scarf before running down th stairs again, dodging around Marcus on his quest for attention. But as I walked into the kitchen, I let out a small sigh as I grabbed a bottle of water from th fridge.
"Whoa, whoa, Robbo. You're not going anywhere! Lasagne's almost ready."
I didn't look up from the fridge, I just gave out another shaker sigh.
"I'm going to see Molly. She and Fergie just broke up," I blurted, grabbing some juice instead, "She's taking it quite badly."
"Oh..." she murmured, nodding her head, "Alright then. But take a key with you...and tell your brother that dinner's ready."
"Thanks," I nodded, putting the phone back to my mouth again, "I'll be there in a few, Hun. Don't do anything without me."
Turning back on my mum, I proceeded to open the door to a scene unfolding in the sitting room. Then, I raised a brow at the mention of my name, and more importantly, the mention of Johnny.

Oli: Blinking a couple of times, I dropped my hands down to my sides. To be honest, I was quite glad that Robin walked in.
"Right..." I muttered, staring at the girl, "Two questions: Why the he'll have I never heard of this before, and why would Johnny know about any of this...unless you two are related and that would be weird."
It was then I shot a glance at my sister who was quite red-eyed and snotty at this time. But as she muttered something about dinner as she walked out of the room, I let out a sigh.
"Stay there for a moment, Robin."

Molly: I gulped it down like an alcoholic that hadn't drunk in a month and looked down. If I looked into his eyes I wouldn't be able to leave him. His voice was almost too much for me.
"I can guess, you were pretty clumsy before..." I answered, reminding myself back to the days of Nerdy Fergie.
The times when I only smiled at him cause I felt a bit bad, I always hated myself for those pity smiles. Now he was the only reason my smiles were happy, I didn't smile much, if at all, at Lilith's and I was starting to forget how it felt. Sure, I faked smiles all the time, a fake smile could get me through the long hard days, but I knew they were fake.
That was the problem.

Johnny: I rubbed the back of my neck then realized then condition of my room: disaster. I jumped up and began to clean, not just a casual 'stuff everything into the closet clean' but the intense 'army mom spring cleaning' clean.

Lila: I frowned then smacked my forehead with an aggravated sigh, this guy was clueless!
"I. Am. A. Elf," for emphasis I pulled my hair away from my ears to show him the points, "Johnny. Is. An. Elf. Too. You're a human, although of questionable lineage, so you wouldn't know a damn thing about thing, would you? But I bet your sister knows all about it.. And no I am not Johnny's sibling. Humans are so dull sometimes.."

Fergie: "That should be fine in a minute or two," I muttered, taking back the cup in my grasp, "then you can go on your way."
As I stood, Sally raised her head to attention, watching as I walked back to the pouches that were hanging from the coat on her side. Giving her a quick pat on the front, I let out a shaky sigh, trying to keep a control of my emotions. If I didn't then they would have just exploded.
"Okay, then... See ya around."
With that I slowly began to walk away from her, back in the direction of my house. And with a whistle, Sally stood and began chasing after me, though she was careful not to let Molly's head drop all too suddenly.
I didn't look back; I couldn't. Sally did, only because she felt my emotions. But if I did then I wouldn't have been able to start to walk on again; It would have been to much for me to handle.

Oli: I blinked a couple of times before looking between the two girls. Elves? Was I really hearing this?
"So, you're an elf that has been forced into marriage with the groom possibly being me, my sister's new and first real boyfriend is also an elf that knows about this and ai might not be human? And to make it even better my sister knows more than me?!"
My eyes landed on Robin and stayed there for quite a while, glaring at her face as she stood there, feeling quite awkward about all of this. But as she fiddled with her sleeve, I let out a sigh.
"Looks like we need to talk more," I said, peering back at the elf, "Care to join my mother and I for dinner, seeing as my little sister has an important date to go on with her elven boyfriend."
That would never feel right to say, but I guess that I had to believe her. It was that weird feeling in the pit of my stomach again, the same one that appeared when Robin told me about that shop: I knew that they were telling the truth.

Robin: Watching the two carefully, I slowly began to side-step out of the room, behind my brother and out of the door so that I could grab Rusty and get out of there as soon as I could manage.
After a few heart-stopping moments, I managed to creep out and grab the keys. The next thing I knew I was heading for the player parts of town, feeling rather out of place on my cruddy little scooter. But as I stopped at his address, I grinned as I saw his motorbike parked outside. This was the place.

Molly: I curled up into a ball and whimpered, just a bit too loud. I looked up at Fergie's back and choked back tears, feeling a tearing sensation from my heart as he slowly got smaller.
"Fergie...wait." I called.
I just needed one kiss, one kiss and I'd be fine, one kiss and I could last another week.
I knew that my heart was just telling me this to trick my brain into giving, like what a child says to convince their parents to buy them a puppy; 'I'll walk them every day and clean up after them.' My heart was simply a child that wanted and desired.
My brain was the parent that didn't know whether to believe or not.

Lila: I smiled, a forced smile but a smile nonetheless. "If you would like me to stay I will, although I do wonder how you'll explain me to your mother... I assume she knows less than you."
I tapped my nose with a black and pink checkered finger nail while in thought then turned to Oli once more.
"I'd like to apologize for springing this upon you all of a sudden but I really have little time to waste. You have no idea what a controlling parent is until you've have an elven parent. I am just trying to get you out of this and get me out of this so I don't have to marry anyone soon. This is almost as bad as the time they tried to get my brother to impregnate a princess from another.... uh.. not really an appropriate topic of conversation I believe."

Johnny: When I finished cleaning I sprayed fabreze everywhere, I even gave myself a fine coating of the stuff for good measure. I took off my shirt and began to search my room for a cleaner one when the door rang, I figured Robin was a still good whiles away if she kept to the path I had given her so it must've been the guy next door.
I trotted to the door, shirtless, and opened it expecting a good yelling at for having my mail in his slot again, as if it was my fault.
I saw Robin instead.
"Ah... Hi..."

Fergie: Once again my heart was telling me one thing whilst my head was telling me to do exactly the other. I wanted to go back, but that sense of doubt deep within me was telling me to carry on.
But I knew what I had to do: the last time that I listened to my heart it ended up like this. And if I went by anything that Molly said, then she would have to kill me, and neither of us wanted that.
My nails curled into the palm of my hands, sending a sharp pain up my arm, all to tell me to go on. But as I let out a sigh, I stopped.
"I wish I could, Molly. I honestly wish that I could... I'll see you at school, yeah?"
And with that, Sally and I continued to walk back to my house, leaving the girl by herself.

Oli: I didn't know how I would tell her either. Should I tell her right off and get it over and done with? Or maybe I should gently let her in, gradually putting more and more information in until she got the full picture?... Or I could not tell her.
"For now..." I began, stringing the words along as I made my final decision, "we'll just say that you're a friend. Because if you come back again and I get chosen, then we can let her in. You may not even pick me so if I tell her all about it then you end up with another bloke then it doesn't matter. But if you do then we can go on from then... That's for Future Oli to decide."
With a nod to myself of confirmation, I looked up to the girl to see her reaction. But from what she had said earlier, I doubt that she would be happy with whatever I came up with.
"Alright?" I asked before opening the door to the kitchen for her, "After you."

Robin: My eyes were first on his eyes before drifting down to his chest...and then a little further down.
"Why...hello," I murmured, carefully studying him somewhat lost in thought, "You okay?"
After a few more seconds, I peered back up to his face with a small grin on my face. I knew that he would cheer me up, but that wasn't what I was expecting. Someone was definitely shining on me today.

Molly bit her lip and curled into a ball, she knew what he did was right, the smart thing, but it still hurt to watch him walk away. She vaguely remembered clicking her panic button and letting herself be carried by the twins back to Lilith. She had to be stronger than her, she had to grow so she could be with Fergie.
She would grow stronger for him, and as cheesy as it sounded she would kiss him with a damn sunset in the background.

Lila smiled sweetly, a fake sugary look that was about as good as cough syrup and let him lead her. She thought about reminding him that she didn't get to choose, her parents chose. She was just sent as a sort of incentive , she had no idea why though.
"If my parents choose you I'll find some way to get you out of it, so don't worry. I don't want anybody else to get hurt because of me." She said quietly.
She'd run away, this guy seemed okay, although pretty dull, and ruining his little bubble of reality didn't seem nice.

Johnny : I ran a hand through my hair and winced, "Sorry, I thought you were my neighbor.. I didn't expect you so soon... ah.. sorry about the mess."
I stepped aside and let her into my pristine little shoebox of a home, I added the mess part to make myself seem clean. Or did it just make me seem like a neat freak?
I had spent the last thirty minutes cleaning and didn't even consider what the right amount of dirt would seem normal. Damn. I was such an idiot.
Plus I must look terrible without my shirt, who just goes around their home shirtless?
Damn, damn, damn, damn and damn!

Oli: I just shrugged. It wasn't her fault, apparently. If it was elven tradition or whatever then I guess that I had to comply with it.
"Okay..." I said, more focused on the back of Mum's head, "Mum, this is Lila. She's a friend of mine."
She seemed to stop straight away, glancing over her shoulder with that genuine smile of happiness, the same one that she pit on whenever a guest came. But this one was a tad different; it was the one that she wore whenever I had a girlfriend around.
Maybe I should have emphasised that she was just a friend? Too late now.
"Hello Lila, nice to meet you," she grinned, opening up the plate cupboard, "I hope that you'll stay for dinner. I made way too much as it is without Robin and Johnny not staying. Typical kids, eh?"
And with a laugh, she began to bring down three plates, already making that decision for her practically.

Robin: Mess? He was talking to me about mess? Be hadn't seen what our house looked like when my mum was way too busy with work to clean. It was one word: carnage. And I wasn't exaggerating.
"No worries," I shrugged, peering around the hallway as I walked in, "And yeah, I guess I'm sorry about being early. Rusty wasn't playing up and the after work rush had gone so it wasn't too bad getting here... Plus I didn't get lost."
That always helped.
But as I turned to him, I just grinned, staring at him...topless. I didn't mind. You'd have to be a fool to mind. It was a good sight, and I wasn't a fool. Yum.
"Do I need to take off my shoes?"

Lila: I smiled politely and nodded, chuckling along to her joke. "It would be an honor to stay with you this evening for dinner, I can't wait," insert another smile here, "Oliver and I are good friends but this is the first time I've visited his home, it is very nice."
"Can I help in any way?" I added.
When it came to manners I could out do pretty much anyone, but then again my parents braided them into my being ever since I was little.

Johnny: I shrugged, I really didn't have anyone drop by so I didn't know what to do. "Ah.. sure, but the floor's pretty cold so I could lend you some socks if you don't have any.. It's murder in the morning to walk on these floors without shivering.."
I wrapped my arms around her before she could continue, a giant bear hug, and kissed her cheek.
"Other than beautiful, how are you?"

Oli: I just grinned, trying not to laugh my butt off. She sure did know how to pretend, didn't she?
But then she said it, 'Oliver'.
I glanced to Mum as she attempted to ignore it, but that expression on her face was one that she always had to try and mask, but she was getting better at it, at least.
"Oh, umm," she stammered, fingering the edges of the plates with thought, "Oh yes, if you wouldn't mind could you take out that salad there?... And thank you very much. To be honest we hardly ever get guests from any of them here. Robin's always out on her adventures whilst Angie goes to her friends' house and Oli just studies in his room really... But yes, thank you. It's a privilege to meet you...umm... Lila, yes sorry. I'm terrible with names, if you excuse me."
But as I picked up the bottle of orange juice from the fridge and clasped a few glasses with the other hand, I let a loose laugh, trying not to make it sound too awkward to fill in the gap. She always rambled when she was nervous.
"C'mon, I'll show you to the table," I winked at the girl, punting the door open with the end of my foot.
And walking through to the room, I carefully put down what I was carrying with a huff. Putting out the glasses, I turned to Lila and grinned again.
"I take it as you like OJ. I've never met a person who doesn't."

Robin: I let out a shaky sigh and grinned, "Not bad. Been better, been worse, thanks for asking. How's we today?"
He asked if I wanted to borrow socks? I didn't know whether to find that cute or kind of weird. I just went for the first one; it was easier.
Pecking him back on the cheek, I continued to slip off my Converse and carefully nudge them to the side, all whilst in his arms. Peering back to his eyes, I remembered again that he was topless.
And it's so nice.

"Who doesn't like juice? I love orange juice, thanks... Did I say something wrong? Did I say something particularly amusing?" I asked confused by both Oli's smiles and his mother's hurry to get away. Was I too polite? Did I say something wrong?
My brow furrowed in confusion and then glanced up, unable to fathom what had happened. I pulled my little skirt down and adjusted my tank top so it made the mini shirt hang better on my frame. I tended to fiddle with my clothes when I was confused, a terrible habit that my parents never managed to beat out of me.
I usually did it to bug my parents but it just became a normal thing.

Johnny: I smiled, "Would you like the socks now? Mine will be too big but I might have some fuzzy ones for you... Uh.. Could I put a shirt on?"
It wasn't that he wanted her to leave his arms, it was that he was beginning to feel the draft that accompanied his apartment. It wasn't so bad after you got used to it and being adaptable was one of the things Johnny prided himself in.

Oli: Shaking my head, I began to pour out the drinks.
"No, you didn't do anything," but then I lowered my voice, "It's just that my mum hates it when people call me Oliver. It just reminds her of my dad... It's stupid really, but it gets to her. She never really got over him leaving."
And with a shaky sigh, I screwed the top of he juice back on before taking a sip from one of the glasses. To be honest, it was hard for me to watch my mother act like that and to not be able to do anything about it. It was quite horrible actually.
"But, y'know, it's ju--"
"Out the way! Hot! Hot! Hot! Coming through!"
And from the kitchen, armed with a dish full of dinner my mum placed down the lasgane in the middle of the table, parting the two of us to get to the middle quicker.
"And we're done... Apart from those plates. Oli be a dear and fetch them for me, please," she grinned sweetly as she slipped off the oven mitts, "Take a seat anywhere, Lila. There's no name cards."

Robin: Pulling out of his arms, I just nodded, grinning like a bit of an idiot.
"Knock yourself out," I smirked, looking down to my feet, "but, yeah thanks. Fuzzy socks would be toasty."
After fluttering her eyelids slightly, I peered around what I could see so far of his place, which was his own place, which was slightly impressive to say the least. I didnt think that I wouldn't have my own place until I left for college, and Oli hadn't got a place yet. In fact, no one I knew did.
"You live here by yourself?" I asked, not seeing any signs of more than one person living there.
