The young teenager looked at him with tearfilled eyes, blinking. The pain throbbed. She turned her green eyed gaze to the ceiling, sniffling and biting her lip. Her eyes squeezed shut and a tear trickled down her cheek. Her hands clenched.

The boy bit the sides of his mouth, he'd never really felt so useless and unable to help, and it was his best friend that needed him this time. As he was about to say something one of the nurses came in and asked her, "What hurts miss?"
