The restaurant came closer. He put on his white smile, real or fake an onlooker couldn't tell. He kissed Charlotte gingerly on the forehead. "Ready love." He said so convincingly it was hard to tell if it was an act.

Char: I smiled at him and nodded. I let him help me out of the carriage and escort me into the resturant. I leaned into him and kissed his jaw while we waited for our seat, I would be the perfect newly wed.

The girls sighed as the couples walked by. Jack used to be a very eligible man. "Table for two." He said.

Char: I noticed the girl's sigh's and got a little territorial by wrapping my arm around his. I didn't know why but I just felt like he was mine and they couldn't have him. I blushed as some of the gentle men winked at me, I would've just been able to be courted if I hadn't married Jack. I hadn't made a offcial entrence to society yet.

Char: Startled I looked up at Jack, what was that?
"Looks like someone is protective of his pretty lady." The man who winked at me joked to his friends. I blushed and looked down.

Char: I raised an eyeborw but realised it was an act, or was it. I hoped that the man would just kept his comment to himself, I mean how rude it that-
"Newly weds eh? I bet I could entertain the lady more than you, would the lady enjoy that?" The man yelled drunkly to us at our table.

I ducked my head in embarassment.

Char: I nodded blushing, feeling ashamed. I looked up to see the drunk man wobble over, ignoring the servers who were trying to escort him out. I recoiled as he reached are table. "Little ladywill youcomehomewithme? I'llplaynice.." He slurred while smiling. Even if he was drunk he had a strong grip as he pulled my arm with him. I struggled back whimpering.

Jack stood up and punched the man, "Waiter, please take this man out." The man had staggered backwards as a waiter came to throw him out.

Char: I clutched my arm to my chest and whimpered in fear. I looked at Jack with wide eyes fearful.

Char: I looked towards Jack and I just stared, Freaking out inside. "I think it would be a good idea to leave the resturant." I said as calm as I could manage but my voice still quivered.

Char: I shakily placed my hand in th crook of his elbow and let him lead me out. Once we were in the privacy of the buggy I curled up and stared blankly into the distance. I was scared, for what reason I didn't know.

Char: I shook my head readily. "I thank you for punching that crude man, you didn't scare me it was him." I closed my eyes and sighed, public outings are much harder than they appear to be.

Char: I nodded in agreement, that was completely fair. I looked at him and offered him a small smile of reassurence that he didn't scare me, that I was fine.
