Belyi found a large dragons' scroll on Golden Drakes and curled up in one of the cushioned hollows of the floor to read it.
Beka stood, skimming books by Lincoln Ravid, Drake expert. There were tons of them.

Keegan found a book, that talked about markings dragons could give to their riders, their were a few chapters on drakes, he sat on he floor his back up against the wall, and read.
Deegan found a history of Drakes, he was certain his kind of dragon would be in their. He still didn't know exactly what he was.

Lupus shoved the book he had been flipping through back on the shelf in disgust. It was a good thing the shelves were bolted to the floor, or they would have been sent flying. He shook his head in disgust. That book had been nothing but chapter after chapter expounding on the joys of the glorious relationship between Dragon and rider. Absolutely disgusting. He picked up one of the dragon-scrolls. To such a small dragon, they were large, cumbersome things. He unfurled it and read intently.

Tarrant glanced over the pages of the book he was searching in at Lupus. Then at the other pairs of dragons and riders scattered around the library. They were all so peaceful with each other, providing one another with comfort. He looked back at Lupus. Their bond was anything but peaceful and comforting. In fact, some might even have said that Lupus hated Tarrant.

While Keegan was reading, he came across nothing about Drakes marking their riders, he also saw nothing about markings like his. He was quite frusterated, and mad that Deegan had tricked him.
Deegan read that his kind of Dragon shrunk in fear when around Golden Drakes. He gulped.
Deegan, Keegan thought, You're sly and rude, let the scars thing go. Keegan got up in a huff. He was done researching for the day.

The red-headed rider sighed. That book only covered the eating habits of Drakes. She shoved it back into the shelf and went to grab another.
BEKA! Belyi suddenly called excitedly. Come read this!
Without hesitating, the girl went to her dragon. What is it? she asked.
Just read it!
Leaning against warm creme-colored scales, Beka scanned over the book, a smile breaking out on her face.
"Hey, guys! Come listen to this!"

Styler. Suki Rin punted a book forward.
Styler picked up the book, just what he needed, "Dragon Dancers... You want me to read this?" she grunted and he flicked through and started to read it, really getting into this. The first part was on the pupils and connections with your dragon... All true.

Deegan Fahy called Keegan back, for he knew Keegan needed to read this as well.
Keegan came back steaming his scars a dull read, "What did you find?" He asked trying oh so hard to hide his anger towards Deegan.

Tarrant walked over to where Beka and Belyi were sitting. "What is it?" he asked excitedly.

Lupus didn't move toward them. He rolled the scroll back up and purposefully walked to a different area of the library. This caused Tarrant to frown slightly.

Beka smiled and pushed the book forward. "This tells about a small clan of Mountain Dragons the mistook a Drake for a golden dragon. Even though it's real identity was later revealed, after growing up with dragons it excepted their ways. If we except it, the baby could be an ally,"
Belyi rumbled happily.

Deegan became uneasy. That was not the full story. He knew the full story. That Drake later betrayed all of them, dispersing them and killing them. But it did allow for Deegan to find his rider.

Or it could kill us all when our backs are turned, Lupus' voice rumbled unhappily through Tarrant's mind, Build up a sense of false trust in us, then stab us in the back.
It hasn't yet learned the ways of the Drake, Tarrant tried to assure his dragon, I'm sure it could learn the ways of the Dragon. You're being paranoid.
The library suddenly shook vigorously. For such a small dragon, Lupus was strong. He roared, You don't get it, do you?! It's in its blood! That beast is genetically designed to kill dragons!

Deegan thought to Tarrant, I agree, but you can't force opinions on people, they will except it in time.

Belyi roared back angrily. And we are genetically designed to kill humans! Have we not proven everyone wrong?!
Beka fliched and clapped her hands over her ears, though it didn't help the sound inside of her head.

Keegan thought he would say what Deegan was thing, "He," He gestured to the lime green beast, "Says that's not the whole story."
Keegan prayed people were two busy arguing to here him. When Dragon's argued their thoughts were quite loud, he was glad Deegan didn't yell all to often.

Lupus let out an actual, audible roar of frustration and anger that shook the room. He slammed his hind feet into the ground, the vibrations causing books to fall off of shelves, and took off flying.

The vibration threw Keegan to the floor. He had bruised his tailbone. He hated being tiny.
Stop him Deegan! Keegan yelled in thoughts.
Deegan took off, he was going to attempt to calm the angry dragon.

Have you nothing to say? A roar just as loud as the blue dragon's erupted from her throat.
Beka got back up to her feet and tried to talk to Keegs. "What is the whole story?"

Lupus landed with a soft thud in the clearing he always went to. He roared again and white hot flames poured from his throat. He could hear the wolf pack that lived just outside of the clearing scurrying away.

Deegan hovered above the clearing. He did not want to rush things.

Keegan got up, rubbing his butt awkwardly. "Deegan said, the Drake betrayed that group, killing them, and leaving the others to flee in terror." He stayed silent about the part of how Deegan found Keegan.

Styler walked back to the group, "Sorry, what have I missed?" he looked to the rest as his dragon rested in the corner, but he knew that she wasn't asleep; she only did when he did and the same back. It was a weird relationship, but something that would probably be explained in the book.

Belyi turned to Tarrent and Beka translated.
"I am sorry that he left, but not for what I said," The sky dragon's eyes still burned with anger.
Beka froze. "Are you sure?"
Her dragon hung her mighty head and swallowed her pride. I suppose I must apologize after all. With a nod from her rider, she left.

"Please," Tarrant said gently, "There's no need for Belyi to feel bad. Every day since he learned to fly, he's gone off somewhere." Sometimes for days at a time, he added to himself. His mind wandered back to when Lupus was a hatchling. He realized that Lupus had always seemed to hate him; to hate anything that tied a dragon and a human together.

Styler rolled his eyes, "So, what have we found out?" he clutched the book to his chest and looked at them, man this was gonna be hard fro him to get noticed.

Beka sighed. "She will go any way, Tarrent," Turning to Styler she said, "We found a story that suggested that Drakes could be good, though Deegan says that the same Drake later turned on his dragon friends. We have nothing, really,"

"We could try to be nice at first, and fight if it turns on us." Keegan suggested, knowing that is what Deegan would not have liked. Deegan hated Drakes, he was related to those Mountain Dragons in some way. Deegan just didn't know how.

Styler nodded, "Fair enough," he kept on nodding, biting his lip slightly. Okay, Suki Rin was getting agitated at the moment; not good. He spun around and smiled at the dragon, "Do you have anything to say on the matter at all?" he raised an eyebrow as she grunted, her usually sign for approval now it's proper use of ignorism.
