Dragons Of Arthurian Times!

The clouds converged over the beautiful white castle which sat upon a large green hill. It overlooked a stretch of flat land with trees spotting it before an open meadow with an thick forest surrounding it. A soft rain began to fall and a young man looked up. A sword in his hand, and armour covering his body he squinted to the sky. His blonde hair soon became a darker blonde from the rain as the rain fell down harder. Lightning struck the ground not far from him and thunder shook the sky. The young man's horse reared and he stroaked her muzzle attempting the calm his horse. Thunder rumbled again and he made his way back to the castle. A much older man paced in a large hall, a golden crown sat upon his greying black hair and a sullen look on his face.
" Is it done Arthur?" The old king asked when the young man walked in. Arthur, the young man, smiled and nodded.
" My knights haven't been able to find any more eggs. The dragons should be wiped out, its over Father." Arthur replied to the old man, his father.
" Good, now rest my son, we do not have to worry anymore." The old king said slowly.

Little did the king know that that very night he would die, a slow and painful death by poison. His son Arthur became king on the night of the New Year. It was a sad coronation, the funeral of the king only hours before Arthur was crowned as King of Camelot. His servant became the head servant of Camelot in a day. The secret users of magic have hidden themselves in plain sight, even a trusted person in the court. Even the ward of the king.

What Uthar Pendragon didn't know was that the last dragons and magic users where hiding under his noes. A skill that the dragons came up with themselves. They created a potion from a purple flower and a golden weed that simulated a human appearance. The magic users stopped using their magic in public, instead becoming doctors and medicine makers. Now that Uthar is dead they have become to come out and help others openly. The fear from Uthar was disappearing and Arthur is lost. Merlin, a young warlock, comes to Camelot with hopes and dreams.

So, I'm hoping this RP will be popular! Its set in Arthurian times (medieval times basically), think of that when making your character. You can be a dragon in hiding, the ward of Camelot is taken, Arthur, Merlin, or any other person. Dragons are hiding as humans and will probably be servants or pesents. No one like grand Dutch of such and such. Magic users are usually something medical related and are making potions and such out in the open, but not using their true magic.

All dragons are unique, their personality, their designs and colours of the designs, even the horns are their own colour and shape. No dragon is the same.

Aurea Argentum
A beautiful yet small dragon with golden scales during the night, red designs unique to each dragon cover their bodies. They're small and slender with a sleek build and always have pink eyes. Males have four horns with jagged spikes going down their spines, the colour depends, and females have two to three horns and smooth spikes going down their spine. Both gender have feathers on their tail ( colour depends). They are a rare and wise type of dragon but can be found in the silver mountains only. They must be kept out of small spaces and are known to have trouble or reactions with the human transformation. They are blind dragons ( not humans) who use their magic to find their way around.

Lux
A white, round scaled, large dragon. Their eyes are always light blue and they have very powerful wings. The second largest dragon with a strong fighting power and not so much strong in magic. They are known to be a bit bipolar in dragon form. Their wings and tails always have designs in brilliant colours, the same colour will be on their forehead in the shape of a triangle. Both gender has spikes and at least one horn. They are known as the unicorn dragons to many humans and have stunning beauty in human form.

Saltus
The largest breed of dragon and most common. They are any shade of green (even teal) with hazel or brown eyes. They have the strongest breath weapons but aren't as good with casting magic. They have connections with animals and are the closet to Phoenix's and the Lightning Birds. They are the dragons with the most unique things about them. They are also the dragons Arthur hates most, a rouge dragon who had changed its appearance to match one of Saltus dragons killed Arthur's mother in a fire started by a dragon. Saltus dragons are the best with fire and earth elements.

Tenebris
The smallest dragon of all the species'. They are small, about three feet tall, with black or dark purple scales. They are actually very kind but are also unstable and the most likely to become a rouge dragon. Their eyes are black and their talons and horns are usually any colour but a very dark shade of that colour. Designs cover their whole entire body, including tail, head and wings.

Pluma
A feathered dragon, almost any size or colour. They live where the Aurea Argentum live also and are the dragons most likely to help Arthur. They are rare dragons and are very shy. Their body is serpintine and they are best with water element.

History--
Ariardne heard the question, despite someone whispering it for dragons had superior hearing, and nodded. " The history of Morganna is quite long. It starts and ends with dragons. When dragons where originally born into this world they where also given a rider, a person gifted with magic. Those being the magic users. Originally there where hundreds of species, some being as large as an island, others being as small as a human finger. After the dragons where born the lightning bird and Phoenix where born as well. Dragons lived at peace with the help of their riders, but then a rider went rouge, she killed her dragon and absorbed his soul. The only way to gain the immortality of a dragon. Because of this she thought she was unstoppable, she found the massae dragons and convince the leader to kill his rider and fly with her. Naming him wrath they went to the crystal mountains. Wrath is no ordinary dragon though, born from magma he was covered in sleek and very smooth scales, each dragons scales are important to them for they have power, Morganna took one of his scales white he slept and ate it also. War broke out between the elves and the nymphs and Morganna watched from her place in the crystal mountains. Dwarves and the rock giants found her, and a truce was formed between the three. Soon humans with no magic began to crave the magic that we all have. They where brim with souls that cannot withstand the burden of magic, the only way they could gain magic was to absorb a magic soul, or eat a dragon scale. That's when the hinting began. The hunting stopped though, when the elves took over. That's when their history comes into play. The elves are a noble species now but they where much more present back in their history. They where a very tall race with ears that ended in a long point. Often adorning themselves in simple yet beautiful hand crafted clothes from the forest they became known as the gems of the trees. Humans didn't like these beautiful species and started war against them. Humans where better with technology but the elves where better with weapons, they also had the dragons on their side as drgon riders where mostly elves. Twenty years the war raged on, the elves winning due to their skill. An alliance was formed ten years after between the humans and elves but at that time tension was extremely tight. Humans had killed all but ten of the dragon species. The dragons began to plot revenge, that's when Morganna and Wrath stepped in. Appalled by their plot to destroy the humans they refused as began to fight her instead. The elders of my race where just young ones then, that war raged for ten years many dragons were slain at the hands of Morganna as well as their beloved rider. The bond between dragon and rider is and was a strong one, inseparable and always loyal. A motto was set up by the great dragon rider, Grish'har, " For those whose peace be not in sight, may a dragon rider stand firm for peace is what dragons and riders were born from". His daughter Liklar, a twenty year old at the time, spoke a prophecy of truth.
' Dark of night, council light.
Twenty will gather, ten of land, ten of flight,
Hope is not gone until the candle goes out.
The Great Dragon accompanying the young.
Water, fire, wind, and earth Morganna wakes to the rebirth of magic.

Swords will hit and cities will burn,

I have reason to believe its a prophecy of now. Our great dragon rider died putting wrath and Morganna in an eternal sleep but with their strength he must have known it wouldn't last forever. The elves knew about this prophecy as well as the dragons and the riders. I think we must find the elves, then the alliance of dragon and rider can be formed for true. This is a meeting to see who wants to journey with myself to the elves. The bond of dragon and rider must be formed once again." She spoke with emotion, to many to count. Her eyes pleaded with the group before her. Kilgharra knew everything about this but she still feared if he answered no.Her heart feared for the answer of no from any of those standing before her.

-----ELVES!!!------
ævintýri these elves are nicknamed the fairy elf, this is because they are the shortest of all the elves, in the high five foot area for height. Also they are known to have butterfly or dragonfly like wings, their ears are also much longer than the other elves. ævintýri elves are drawn to sparkly things and silver, they don't have much of a taste for gold, they'll make necklaces and adorn the trees with them in June and July. Generally their hair is unnaturally brilliant colours but it's their natural hair colour. They wear very unique clothes are are the most artistic of the elves. Also in the spring and winter they are known to paint their arms and dance, a very rare thing to see and it's very beautiful.

Second the: vasilikós these are known as the noble or royal elves. Their hair colours are usually blue or dark green as well as their eyes which have golden flecks in them. They are the normal size for an elf and are very regal. Despite being regal they get along very well with the other elves, one of the main reasons why the leader of the eleves is Usualy either a vasilikós or a different type of elf which will come later. they are almost always pale and have distinct markings and tattoos on their skin. Their ears are slightly pointed and look more normal than any other elf. Usually walk very slowly with long steps.

Third: dýr elves. They are elves who are known to have brown hair and tan skin. Usually they are covered in brown or green clothes with either a bow and arrows or a sword. Many animals follow these elves because these elves can convers with animals. Their ears are usually inhuman, like one may have fix ears wile another has the ears of a horse. Known to have tails and spectacular hearing. These elves refuse to become riders because they feel as if it's a waste of their ability, though they are some of the best smithers.

Fourth the gimsteinn elves. These elves are known the have sparkly skin (( not like twilight vamp sparkly like a pretiouse gem sparkly)) their eyes are usually either white are red. These elves can be very rude and snobby to the noble elves but much nicer to the others. They are nicknamed albino elves because they have no pigment to have skin colour or hair colour. The male elves are very strong and are known to wield giant weapons which no other could carry but a giant.

And fifth, the eldur elves. Despite the name looking like elder they are not. These are the youngest species of elf. They are born of fire and usually have either black, blonde , or red hair. Their eyes either a gold or pink colour. They have a darker tan skin but also could have pale skin. Eldur elves have beautiful voices and their songs are stories, or prophecies. These elves have the ability to see the future but few of them have this power, most have the ability to wield fire and shape it like clay. Before each month, year, or season begins the Eldur elves will sing a song almost none who does not have magic in their soul will never hear it.
