Liz followed him and found some matches as well as a handful of smaller sticks and leaves. After arranging the tinder beneath the bigger logs, she struct a match and started the fire.
The young woman stepped back in satisfaction as the little flame grew and spread. In a few minuets it was a roaring fire.
"There we go," she smiled.

welll...it's just that my charries aren't big talkers...*scratches head* I'll think of something...

Aj: After a few minutes of having that 'being watched feeling', I decide to speak up. "Hey!" I call to the girl, getting up and wading through the water to the bank and walking toward her. Oh dear, my voice came out a little harsher than I intended...

Jon: "Perfect." I say, plopping down on one of the log benches circling the pit. "This is nice, its really calm here, nothing like the city." i hadn't done many bon fires, mostly on the beach, most the time it was parties in crowded building too hot you couldn't breath.

Jac: I stand stalk still looking at my work, his work. and the smile doesn't leave my face. It seems like forever I stand there, just watching it. I turn on my heels and go up the stairs slowly, in a much better mood than earlier

Andi: I looked at the girl and instantly stopped humming, slqmming my book shut. I waytched as she waded through the water, my expession still none. I raised an eyebrow at her and sighed, "Yeah?"

Aj: I stop and plop down on the bank of the little creek. Wading through water was a lot more tiring than one would think. "You draw?" I ask, attempting to make small talk. I half smile. "Me too." i nod to myself, looking around.

Scooping up Prince, Liz sat down beside him. "At my dad's place we used to do this all the time." She smiled and set the cat down in Jon's lap. "A couple of times we even dragged the lounge chairs out there and spent the night,"

Jon: I grin at her, scratching prince under his chin. "That sounds amazing. Could never do that in the city. I just partied a bunch." I grin widely at her

Jac: I go to my room to clean up before dinner, scrubbing away the paint in my hair and fingernails. Once dry with new clothes I head down stairs quietly, feeling calm and happy.

She chuckled, "You know, I never really partied much even though my mom lives in the city. I couldn't dance to save my life," Liz picked up a long stick and poked at the burning wood.

Andi: "Good for you," I spoke, sarcasm tacking into my voice. I rested the pad on my lap, looking at her, "Seriously, I know this killing you to do this so why do it?"

Crux: I sighed, okay, I was so in a good mood right now! The art turned out nd so did his reaction; the speechless was something that I loved when showing people my work.

Jon: I laugh, "Its all in the hips." shaking my own as much as I could sitting down. I look to the fire, smiling, Its almost dinner, if you wanna go in." I ask not caring either way.

Jac: I head to the dining room a bit early, ringing a small bell that would signal dinner if someone was inclined to come. I sat down at the large table, running a hand on the varnished wood and smiling at the details put into it.

Liz laughed, clutching her sides. The fire had started to die down. "Why not? I'm feelling kind of peckish," She stood up and stretched.

Crux: "So," I sat opposite Jac, "You like it?" I drummed the wooden table underneath my finger tips. It was magohony, you could tell by the sound it made, plus it's shade made a nice statement in the room.

Jon: I nod getting up and then taking her hand to bring her up, Prince in my other arm. "The cooks here are great." I tell her, leading her to the dining room to Jac and another boy. I nodded to the two in greeting.

Jac: I nod, "Its perfect, it looks absolutely wonderful." I tell him smiling, "So how are you enjoying the Cabin?" I ask him.

"Sounds good," Liz muttered back, quieter around people she didn't know. "What's on the menu?"

Crux: "Yeah, it's better than the streets back home anyday," although I did miss all the kids in the studio where I worked, helping kids to express themselves and not turn to drugs and gangs like I did... "How long have you been here for then?"

Claire walked the stairs off the cabin's porch, satchel in hand. She was headed toward the woods. If there was a wolf pack out there, she was determined to find it.

Jon: "I think it was Lasagna." I say, looking to the doors of the kitchen, "My favorite."

Jac: I nod, "Since it opened about three years ago, as often as possible I come." Actually its my home, but he doesn't need to know that

Crux: "Yeah, I come here as soon as I can get off of work," I sighed, "I work in a studio helping kids and teens to keep off the streets and stuff like that; y'know, let them find a way to channel their thoughts and feelings onto paper. I set it all up and it's doing really well, we get a basic salary but a great feeling of achivement y'know?"

"Yum," Liz murmured and smiled. Quickly, she slid into the seat next Jon. She was surprised that there were so few people in the dining room, especially after all the ruckus earlier.

Claire, without a glance back at the cabin, stepped into the woods. She knew she might have to go deep into it, depending on how long the cabin had been there. How stupid of her not to ask. If it had just been built within the last year or so, any wolves would be driven back. If it had been here awhile, they would have grown accustomed to it. She was an idiot for not asking. She shook her head in disappointment in herself then began watching for signs of wolf activity.
