Jon: I peer at her ankle. "Looks alright to me." I say, nothing close to the worst injury Ive seen.

Jac: I nod. "Thats exactly what this place is for." I tell him, and frown when my phones goes off with a number I didn't know. "Excuse me a moment." I tell him, turning a bit, and answering in a calm tone. "Hello?"

Penny: "T-thank god!" I whisper as the growling grew. "Something, an animal... please help... I don't... know.." I choked back sobs.

[Charlie]

Lauren-

"It wasn't that bad to begin with. I just hurt it doing a jump." I smiled, "I mean, I've broken it dancing before. This was nothing."


Russ-

I knew instantly whatever it was could not have been good. I looked at him, worried.

[KenzieJo]

Jac: I frown a bit. "Penny? Oh god." I mumble a small curse, turning to Russ. "Im sorry, but I've got to take care of something, If you need anything else just talk to my brother Jon." I said to Russ. I saw Jon turn and give me an odd look but I shoot him down with a glare. "Penny, don't move, alright, Im coming to get you, just stay on the phone with me." I say, I rush to the kitchen, going to one of the back cupboards and grabbing the gun I kept there, it wasn't huge but it would do. Cursing still I make my way through the dining room, knowing the fastest way is through the front door.

Penny: The thing growled. "Ohgawd! At least... I-i got-t a ..p-picture." I whispered. I took a few more, no flash. It started to growl louder and snarl. I sobbed into the phone. "Ohpleasegod!"

[Charlie]

Russ-

I wished I could help. But didn't I would be waiting though in case anything happened.


Lauren-

I lived in texas and never really saw guns well unless my dad was messing with them. I saw Jac carrying one and got scared. Guns made me quite uneasy. I had seen to many men killed by them. I passed out in my chair.

Penny: "It's angry...i-its cl-closer.." I could hear it's breath and feel the warmth. I sobbed louder. I put my hand over my mouth to muffle my sobs.

JAc: I could only hear her and the pounding of my feet on the hard ground. "Im almost there penny. Just don't move." I dodged through the trees, making my way to the stream I ran along it, until Penny was in sight, the Animal not far from her. "Im here Penny, Just don't move." I said, walking slowly closer, raising my gun to it, but not actually wanting to shoot it.

Jon: A bit in shock I look at Lauren, crouching beside her, saying her name over and trying to rouse her. I look up at the other boy. "Russ, right?" Can you hurry and get me a cloth and a glass of water?" I ask him, turning and brushing back Laurens hair.

Penny: I looke at him then start singing jingle bells loudly between fearful sobs. The animal started to back away growling.

Jac: Shooting into the air I listened to the bang, and the breaking tree branches. I watched the animal rn away, and move swiftly to Penny, wrapping my arms around her protectively. "Its alright. Its gone." I repeat over and over again.

Penny: I cling to him sobbing like mad. I bury my face into his coat now shivering at the cold air. I didn't let go, I clung tighter.

[Charlie]

Russ-

I nodded, and got a piece of cloth and a glass of water. Rushing back I asked, "What happened?"
Lauren laid their motionless but breathing.

Jon: I bite my lip, nodding a thanks to him while i placed the wet cloth on her forhead. "She must have passed out. I dunno about Jac, but if he grabbed the gun it wasn't good." I gave a worried look, "Lauren?" I asked again, placing a cool hand on her cheek.

Jac: I look at her, guilty written all over my face. I shimmy off my coat slowly, her clutching onto it tightly made it difficult but once I had it off I slipped it over her shoulders. "Penny, We're okay, alright?" I say to her, "Do you think we could head back to the cabin?" My voice came out soft.

[Charlie]

Lauren-

I woke, with someone pushing back my hair, and saying my name. A hand was on my cheek. I opened my eyes. "What's going on?" I asked.


Russ-

"No problem." I tell Jon. I knelt down next to him and Lauren, as she woke.

Penny: I nodded slowly, I couldn't speak. I tried to walk but fell because my legs were shaking so bad. I tried to get up only to fall again.

[KenzieJo]

Jon: "You fainted dear." I tell her lightly, "Don't get up just yet. and drink this." I pass her the water, giving her a smie. "You gave us a fright."

Jac: I aigh, realizing the shock she's in. I pick her bridal style, my jacket still around her shoulders. I walk straight back to the house, knowing the way by heart. "Look, you can see the cabin." I tell her, nodding to the warm glow infront of us.

Penny: I clung to him shivering. I was soo cold. I buried my face into his neck and let more tears flow, this time of relief.

[Charlie]

Lauren-

I took the glass, and drank the water. "Sorry, guns make me uneasy." I bit my lip. I sat up a bit, to drink the water, but it spilled. Just great.


Russ-

"It's okay, we were just worried." No one should ever appologize for fainting they couldn't ever help it.

Jon: "He's right." I tell her, "No apologies." It wasn't her fault after all. "And don't worry, Jac is not a gun person, but here in the middle of the woods you have to have some sort of protection." I say, giving her a reassuring smile. I look out to the woods, worried about him. Until I hear the door opening, "Thats him." I tell the two.

Jac: I bring her in the cabin, setting her down on one of the dark red couches in the front room. "Just lay down for a moment." I told her, going to one of the storage closets and grabbing two of my handmade quilts, putting both over her. "Stay here, no reason to go upstairs yet."

Penny: I nod shaking. I hug a pillow close and cry into it.

[Charlie]

Lauren-

I nodded. I closed my eyes, I didn't want to see a gun again. I came here to get away from guns. "He doesn't look like a gun person. I know what the look like." Whether they be hicks or men in the mafia. "Sorry." I said. I blushed, "No appologies sorry again. Ah crap."


Russ-

"I'll be back." Russ said. I walked to the front room. "Penny?" I asked quietly. "How are you feeling?" I sat down on the table in front of the couch she was laying on.

Penny: I shake under the covers and cry. I try to speak but nothing comes out.

[Charlie]

Russ-

I hum Danny Boy, an Irish folk song, in hopes of easing her. If it worked or not, at least I was trying to help.
