Re: Artist's Retreat

Russ-

I had formed the neck and a rough body. I began to take peices of the clay and roll them to make the strings.

Jac: I walk back up to her. "Hey hey, no crying." I tell her "It'll turn up Im sure." I give her a sad smile, "Art is the one thing that doesn't really get lost in this house." I sigh a bit, hoping she would calm down. "Is there anything I could do to make it better?"

Penny: I grimaced as I tried to delicatly attach the ears. I curse silently as they disobey my orders.

[Charlie]

Lauren-

I looked up wiping her tears away. I was going to say no, but then I got an idea. But then I didn't want to burden him he seemed so busy, plus I had already bother him enough today. So I went back to original answer, "No." I simply said.

Russ-

I looked over at Penny struggling, "Do you need some help?" I asked.

Penny: I am covered in clay to my elbow. I hold up a finger and slowly place the ear. Getting it to sit right I hug ross impulsivly and kiss his nose. I let go and get back to work.

Jon: I smile, but she the way her face changes. "Nothing?" I press, "Because its what Im here for. To help, rememeber?" I wait until she decides to tell me.

[Charlie]

Russ-

That was completely unexpected but it worked. I laid the strings aside, and began to work on the body of the guitar, partially hollowing out the area around the sound hole.

Lauren-

"I just don't want to seem like a burden." I said, "Plus, I think you really rather be painting than helping me." I added. I would get someone else to help me, he needed a break.

Jac: "I wouldn't be painting today anyways, I passed on that a while ago." I tell her. "I would just be in my room doing... work." I refused to tell her I was making myself a winter hat, crocheting never went over well with people, no matter how useful it is. :So tell me what I can do or Im staying here til you do."

Penny: Still focused on my dragon I murmer to Russ "sorry 'bout that.."

Russ-

"Don't worry about." I said, going back to work n the strings, and all that went with them.



Lauren-

"You seem busy, You don't need me to make you more busy." I insisted. He could stand their till the world ended I was determined not to burden him.

Penny: I finished! He was smaller than expected but he was perfect from the picture I had in my mind.

Jac: I sigh, sometimes knowing it would be easier to just tell them that it was infact my job to make sure they were happy and healthy, but once they knew they always acted weird around me, on their toes. "The sooner you tell me the sooner I can get back to my knitting." I say it absently, sleaning my weight against the wall.

[Charlie]

Russ-

I looked at the dragon, it was good. I then looked at my crappy half finished McPherson guitar. Keith had better like it.


Lauren-

I did a double take on the knitting thing, but didn't let it phase me. My mother knit and it was alwasy pretty awesome. I finally gave in, being a people pleaser is hard, "Its just some things in my car, that I can get tomorrow." I said. Hobbling up and sitting on my bed, my sketch wasn't in here, so I stopped looking for it.

Jac: "See no problem at all." I get her keys from her, clicking the button to find her car I grab all the bags I could carry, Making my way back up to her room as quick as possible. I set each down carefully, not knowing what was in them "I think i got most everything." I tell her, smiling happily because really this wasnt so hard.

[Charlie]

Lauren-

I gave him a smile, that said I was sorry, but thanks. I looked he had, but he didn't get the drafting table. I wouldn't need that. But then again who knew.

Jac: "So everything right?" I ask looking out the window where clouds were moving in, it would most likely rain tomorrow. warm and inviting. I smiled at the though.

[Charlie]

Lauren-

I nodded. "Yeah, thanks so much." I wanted to hug him thanks but that would be weird so I sat awkwardly on my bed.

i am sorry but my computer is not showing wordss right now for some reason, it does this sometimes. Im typing blind here so I hope i do okay... but this is a sign for me to go to sleep. I will be on tomorrow hopefully....
