Re: Artist's Retreat

Liz raised the violin to her chin and glanced at Jon. She could play before huge audiences, but just one or two peaple made herso nervous. Exaling and shifting her weight, Liz ignored the butterflies in her stomach and began to play.
Soon music blocked out the rest of the world and she sank into it, as gentle notes spilled out from under her hands. After a few minets she finished the excerpt of Adante Pastural by Paul Taffanel.

[Charlie]

Russ-

I laughed again. "But sometimes strange people are the best." I smiled.


Lauren-

"Glad to know that." I smiled. "A pro here, and a pro at wrapping ankles who would have thought."

Penny: "SO true, I'm strange. I'm not sure about being the best though.." I trailed off inmock thought.

[Charlie]

Russ-

"The best thing is true about you." I said, "But you're not strange." I smiled.

Penny: I smiled " once you get to know me more you'll take that back."

[Charlie]

Russ-

"We'll see." I said, knowing I was quite weird myself.

[KenzieJo]

Jac: I grin "My brother took quite the spills when we were younger, still today actually. I know quite a bit of first aid." I tell her. I was always one to take care of Jon when he got in trouble, to clean up his mess. I pat a hand on her ankle lightly and stand. "All finished. Do you need anything else? Help getting to your room?" I ask her politely.

Jon: I give a small clap. "Very nice. I don't know the peice well but it sounded good." I grin and stretch, "You sure got into it, like I wasn't even here." I tell her laughing. "Well looks like its my turn then?" I ask.

Penny: "Want to go kyaking?" I asked abruptly.

[Charlie]

Russ-

I could screw sculpting for the afternoon. "Sure." I said.


Lauren-

"If you don't mind." I said. Looks like my actual clothes and stuff would be staying in my car till tomorrow.

Penny: "Oh wait.. I have sculpting class.." I frowned, I loved sculpting.

[Ziva :)]

Liz smiled sheepishly, glad that her turn was over. "Take 'er away," She sat down where he had been and leaned back against the wall.

[Charlie]

Russ-

I smiled, "I'll join you." I said. Sculpting was one of my passions.

Penny:I smiled. I walked to the class and saved him a seat.

Jac: I nod and help her up, letting me support her when needed. We head out, Once we get to her room I stop, "There we are." I say, smiling, I stretch and my back cracks loudly, i let out a little sound of pain, but straighten up again. Its been a long day.

Jon: I smile, placing my guitar in my lap. "Ill even sing." I tell her lightly, and think for a moment what to play, before deciding on the Iron and Wine cover of Such Great Heights. The notes and lyrics come to me smoothly.

Penny: I start adjusting th placement of my tools.

[Ziva :)]

"You really do sing like an angel," She joked a bit, "There's no way I could criticize that," Liz was beginning to let her guard down a little.

Penny: I shall make a dragon. I start throwing the clay against the board, trying to remove the bubbles.

[KenzieJo]

Jon: I shoot her a lazy grin. "thanks." I pluck a few note to fill the silence in the room. "Ive never really gone anywhere with music. Never got into it like you do. You know?" It seemed silly but true, it was just something I was good at, i loved music, just not coming from myself.

[Charlie]

Lauren-

"Thanks." I smiled sheepishly. I grabbed my sketch book, and began to look for my favorite sketch it was gone.


Russ-

I threw the clay on my bored, popping all the bubbles and kneeding it. I decided I would make paper weight for me mate. It would be in the shape of a guitar, his guitar.

Penny: I built up the base, it would be guarding something; A treasure chest. I concentrated hard.

[Ziva :)]

((Gtg- I'll be back after school tomorrow.))

Liz thought about what he'd said for a moment, then nodded. "What do you 'get into'?

Jac: "Somethin wrong?" I ask, seeing her continue to flip through the book she held. Im standing in the doorframe, ready to go to my room, but unable to leave her stressed.

[Charlie]

Russ-

The shape came easily to me. My hands becoming covered in clay. I was in the zone.


Lauren-

I started to cry, questioning why I even brought the sketch here. I couldn't find it, and I couldn't make a new one, because I didn't have my pencils since they were in my car. "Just lost a sketch." I said. Still looking for it.

Jon: I lean back in y chair. "Nothing really has ever sparked my interest. I've always just kinda." I make a motion with my hands, "Gone through life." It was actually quite boring.

Penny: Some scales here. Lines there. I was into this, my own world.

[Charlie]

Russ-

I had formed the neck and a rough body. I began to take peices of the clay and roll them to make the strings.
