Liv: "Why?" I asked. "Why did you let her in, but won't let me in? I need a place to stay. I need a job." I gritted my teeth. This wasn't going exactly how I had planned. Seducing him into agreeing with me was out of the question. He seemed a little...eccentric. And Devin was a monosyllabic cave man.

Herny : "Well shes under cover for a report in class. I can't say no" I shrugged. "And you had to have come from money to get to Dartmouth so i don't see why not getting a job here would be such a problem," I said this all in a gentle tone. There was no reason to be rude to anyone no matter what.

Noah : i sighed, "yeah i know...i just...i'm sorry... i didn't mean to slip or anything..." and they had to make such a big deal when i was perfectly okay. I stared at my bloody knee.

Devin: I squinted at the wound, seeing a few flecks of glass. "This might hurt a little...here, squeeze my hand if it hurts too much." I let her take my hand. "Ok i'm about too--Ow!" she squeezes hard even before i let the tweezers touch her skin. "Ok, maybe not," i wince, rubbing my hand.

Noah : i chuckled nervously. "eh sorry about that." i let go of his hand and gripped the chair instead. "ya'know i can get that on my own, you don't have to do it" i said, calmly watching as he tweezed away.

Liv: I nodded slowly. I hated the sympathetic tone in his voice. I didn't need his sympathy; I needed a fucking job. ((what time period is this set..?)) "I got into Dartmouth off my grades," I said. "Some of us are actually smart enough to pull that off." I spun on my heel and marched out. I collapsed on the front step and put my head on my knees.

Devin: "It's fine..i should be practicing for a Cello concerto concert, but really, i'd rather not." I shrugged, wiping the blood off my hands and the tweezers on a towel sitting on the table. i looked up at her. "Just need a band aid now."

Henry : i caught my breath and ran over to help her up. "I guess i wouldn't understand. I'm a rich brat" i chuckled lightly.

Noah : "i can get that if you want me to, Devin" i said, already trying to force myself up.

Devin: I give her my arm to lean on as she limps to the kitchen for a band aid.

Noah : i pressed my hand to the wall to help me get over to the front porch. "Hey are you okay?" i asked the girl.

Devin: "Hey, and i'm not a cave man," I added with a half frown. I got the glares of both Noah and Liv. can't a guy speak his mind? oh, i guess i don't usually. never mind.

Liv: ((before noah shows up)) I smiled sadly. "My parents are well off, but..." I looked at my hands. "They didn't know I applied to college." I rubbed the white line that ran from my elbow to my wrist.
The girl who had been pretending to be a guy walked over. "What? Yeah. Fine," I muttered as I pulled my sleeve over my arm. I looked at Devin. "There's a debate going on about that."

I laughed at Devin, well not at him but at what he said. "He's not a caveman at all, Miss Olivia" I said in his defense. He just didn't like talking very much, i guess.

Devin: I looked out over the landscape thoughtfully. "I think I'm going to go for a walk." i pause before jumping off the stairs and walking with my hands in my pockets toward a path.

Noah : "hm..." i put my finger on my chin and thought about something for a second. Maybe we didn't have any more spaces but we did certainly need a manger.
"oh noah youre so cute when you think so hard!" Henry gushed, holding me tight to him again. I sighed and patted his back. 'Henry, why can't she just be manger?"

Liv: "Manager? What does the manager do?" I asked. Were those to going out or did Henry just like plastering himself to girls?

Henry : "oh, i never thought of that" I said, releasing Noah of our passionate embrace. Well, it was a bit hard keeping track of the date schedule.
"A manger would just keep track of which boy type was going with which girl and she would think up the price for each of the dates" Noah smiled. i blinked, my heart did a little jitter. Maybe i was getting sick...
"We do need one, If you still like the job Miss Olivia" I said, in all seriousness.

Liv: "I'll take it," I said without hesitation. "Thanks," I added with a small smile.

"Do you need help bringing your stuff inside?" Henry asked politely as i glanced around for Devin. Where exactly did he just go?

Liv: "This is all I have," I said, and lifted the backpack. You don't get to pack a lot when you have to run away.

"Alright" Henry said, taking it from her softly and walking back inside. He reached over to take Noah's hand in his, he pulled her close to him and whispered in her ear, "You know, Noah, i do very much like your hair down like that...it fits you better" he smiled.

oh yeah. duh *facepalm* sheesh, i'm slow today.

Devin: I wrap my coat around myself tighter against the chill. I'm about to head towards the town when i hear the sound of a snapping branch. i freeze in place, not moving an inch.
