Occupation: Street Entertainer/Pickpocket (If that's okay)
Gender: Male
Description: Shaggy sandy hair, bright blue eyes, a perfect smile that can make any lady melt instantly, handsome. Wears a shabby waistcoat and dusty trousers with a pair of dull boats along with a cap.
Personality: Cocky, he grew up smart on the streets, learning how to get by without being sent to jail. He's knowledgeable and knows the streets well.
Past/Family: His mother gave birth to him in a work house, where sadly she died. He managed to escape eventually and headed to ports to escape to the big town in America. He managed to stow away and arrived soon later, making a living, crossing his charm with his nimble to become what he is. When he was on the boat, he met a young girl escaping her family, and they soon became friends, but then she disappeared and he's been trying to find her ever since.

Occupation: Newsies/Pick Pocket AKA Theif
Gender: Male
Description (include how they dress): Shaggy dirty blonde hair (think surfer length). A slight tan, and clean shaved. Misty blue eyes. Tall around 6'5, slight tan, not to muscular but its their. Wears off white shirts, tan pants, black work boots, and brown vests. He is Irish.
Personality: Very fun loving, loves a good prank. Has an evil side, lies about what he does. He loves a good drink.
Past/Family (need both): Raised by his mom, has a sister named Rebecca. Saved Damian's life, some things happened. He betrayed Damian. Was/is Damian's best friend. Damian thinks he is a great newsies, but he lies about his life of stealing. (more will be said later on)
Place (where are they from): Donagal (but for ease say its Derry), Northern Ireland

Occupation: Launderer

Gender: Female

Description (include how they dress): Ivory toned skin, rounded black eyes with long lashes, slightly upturned nose and high cheekbones. Long, raven black hair that she seldom wears hanging down over her shoulders. Her frame is slender, as she stands at 5"4.

Personality: By her looks, she seems soft and delicate, but she won't allow anyone to break her without a fight. As a launderer, she spends most of her time cleaning and folding, but she finds the job to be comforting. It allows her to have time to think when it seems as if her thoughts have escaped her own mind. Loves to recap her day in her journal, where she can also practice her calligraphy. Hopes to find love one day, but doesn't like to rush herself into things. While most people live on the wild side, she prefers to play safe. Never stepping on toes, never coloring outside the lines.

Past/Family (need both): Cass grew up most of her life as an only child. She had one brother named Larson, but while tending to their father's potato farms he had a terrible accident with the tractor that killed him when she was only a few months old. When her mother passed away from TB, her father found that he was unable to care for her, so he shipped her off to New York where she had to learn to become accustomed to her new and harder life.

Damian-

A customer had just gotten his shoes shined. He didn't pay me. Typical, probably because he asked me a few questions. At least he didn't just get up and leave the second a word left my mouth. I sat on the ground, messing around with the dark extremely dirty cloth, it was almost as bad as my clothes.


Keith-

I was quite ancy this morning, I had bought my papers, with money I sniped from an old man. I knew if I saw the man he would recognize me, and well I would be going to jail, again. I decided to go sell in a different place than normal today. Just in case.

I hoisted the heavy sack over my shoulder, getting ready for the day's work. I'd let the laundry accumulate far too long. It got to be quite a tedious job, but it was nice sometimes. And it certainly put food in my stomach.

Stifling a yawn, I used my free arm to push through the door, a cold rush of air lifting the skirt of my dress a little.

[Charlie]

Damian-

I sat toying with the cloth, getting bored easily. I set it down with the rest of my stuff, and moved into the chair. It was getting no use with me just sitting on the ground. I felt around in my pocket wondering if I had enough money for a Guinness.


Keith-
I had sold a paper. A kind man in a top hat, overpaid me, I said nothing. If he chose to pay more than the price of the paper, that was his loss. Besides it was probably like a penny to him, he had an air of arrogance, but it was a kind arrogance. I walked down the street, papers in hand.

Ambling down the street, I frequently had to shift the bag in order to give slack to my tired muscles. My customer's house was only a few moments away, thankfully.

A young man caught the corner of my eye as he carried along the same path as I. But I did not have time to stop for a chat.

Age: 19
Occupation: Waitress at a cocktail bar
Gender: female
Description (include how they dress): Mousy coloured bob, layered slightly. Brown eyes. Wears quite a decent amount of make up and wears short dresses and tights generally.
Personality: Tends to stay quiet, though has a temper. Likes to mock other people and criticize but cannot take it herself.
Past/Family (need both): She thinks she is really clever, having a degree in art, and wanted it all straight away. She hates the way that people think that because you do a job like that, you're thick. Though she does often act it. Gets on okay with her family though is bringing in income mainly for herself.
Place (where are they from): Uh, New York?

Damian-

The small amount of money in my pocket, did not reach the ammount I needed. This was great, especially since I wanted a drink, I guess I could wait a few days, that or I would actually buy food it had been at least three weeks since my last meal.


Keith-

I noticed a girl struggling with a large bacg, probably of laundry. I looked at my papers. A sly smirk climbed my face. Maybe I could help her, or something like that. I walked up beside her, "Do you need help?" I asked, it was something I rarely asked, usually I just helped, but this time, I had a mission.

I cocked an eyebrow at the young man's strange behavior- it was chivalrous that he asked to help, but I detected something behind his tone. I wasn't sure what it was. Newyorkers and their mysterious ways...

"I'm fine, thanks," I respond, playing it safe as usual.

Keith-

She was Irish, how lovely. We already had a similarity, but with that similarity I decided it best not to steal from her. I know its hard living in New York and being Irish. I frowned at her answer. "Sorry for bugging ya." I replied, not leaving. She needed help she just didn't want to admit it.


Damian-

I wondered how long I could go with out food, a year was out of the question that had almost killed me once, but a month should be no problem. I decided I would by a Guinness the first chance I got.

I only had one customer that came back everyday, but he needed it, somehow his books always became scuffed up. It was odd considering I don't think he did any heavy labor, I mean the guy wore a top hat.
