Sapphire: " I like animals, it might have something to do with my wings but I connect with them." i said smiling now, a light shining brighter. I looked up. " Oops."

Emmeline: I shielded my eyes. "Careful," I said with a laugh. "Lets go out into the garden." I held out my hand for her. I half hoped she wouldn't take it. I was always nervous around girls. I never knew how they would react if they knew I was gay.

Sapphire: " Sure I cant blow up anything there, and I don't know anywere else to go right now." I said and took her hand hesitantly.

Emmeline: I enterlocked my fingers with her and led her into the garden. I sat down on the bench. I didn't notice that our fingers were still interlocked. "Here we are. Nothing blow up-able around," I said with a grin.

Sapphire: " Yay!" I whispered to my self and then I saw the fountain. " Well only like all my elements work here i can controlle all of them but I dont like to use molecular structure. It frightens me, that much power. I said pulling my hand to my lap and then started to play with my long hair.

Emmeline: I blushed and stuck my hands between my knees. "I understand." But I didn't really. I could only use my power on myself. I couldn't hurt other people, with my power that is. But she could.

Sapphire: I looked around the garden. " Why is this the mutant safe area? I mean dont people know its a place for mutants? If they know they could find us. What, how do they not know? Or do they?" I asked trying to change the subject from my powers.

Emmeline: I sighed in relief that we were no longer talking about powers. "It is a school for 'gifted' youngsters, but nobody knows how gifted we are. Or else we wouldn't be here."

Sapphire: " Oh gifted meaning powerful. How do they teach us to controle our powers?" i asked getting exited no one had told me about this school not even my mother.

Emmeline: "It's not so much about controlling your powers as it about controlling yourself. Our powers react upon our emotions. If we are being threatened, our powers respond naturally to that threat. If we can control our emotions, we can control our powers," I explained. "Basically we do a lot of meditation and focusing exercises."

Sapphire: Of corse. Thats why I could never be with anyone when I got mad. When I got sad one time i flooded a river, but the crops were wonderful and happy.
