Jasmine: " I'm Jasmine." I said smiling. " so what can you do?" I asked her trying to look exited. Not utterly freaked out that if I couldn't get her back safe her sister would come and personaly kill me, or hurt me bad, all she had to do was step on my wings they were light so I could fly all my bones were like that. My weakness well that and silver.

"Nothing really," Amara began, then yelped as a large icicle went shooting by, narrowly missing her face. The icicle immediately fell to pieces. Vines sprouted out of the floor and tied themselves around Anna, who had accidentally thrown the icicle. The classroom desks all pulled together, forming a tight, protective circle around Amara.

Jasmine: I looked at her. " Thats not nothing." I said to her smiling. " Please let Anna go, I'm sure she wont do it again." I said to her then added in my head. She wont have the time to, it would be melted by the time it even comes in this direction.

"Sorry," Amara said softly, the vines disappeared and the desks went back to their original positions. Anna came over. "I'm really sorry, kid," she said sincerely, "It was a misfire. It was supposed to hit hot-head however there." She gestured to Drake, said sorry again, then left.

Jasmine: I looked back at Amara. Hot head being the guy who was a little to happy to use his powers. I smiled at her. " Hey you want to see a trick? " I asked her.

"Sure," Amara smiled. Luna and Sol wriggled up her arms and perched on her shoulders. They too watched Jasmine intently.

Jasmine: I formed another water orb in my hand and threw it at 'hot head' I smiled as it hit him steaming. Fire people hated water, I loved all my elements. I started laughing as he turned around his face really angery.

"Think that's funny, do ya?" Drake muttered as New-Girl broke out into laughter. His hands were set ablaze with flames as his anger bubbled and rose.
So, New-Girl thought she was all high and mighty because of her powers, did she? Maybe he should teach her a lesson.
Drake stopped himself and took a deep breath. No need getting upset. She would learn soon enough. You didn't brag or show off your powers at this school. If you did, you risked becoming an outcast. Most kids here were the jealous-type. They would do everything they could to drag down those with more "powerful" powers. The flames on his hands died away.

Amara sat on one of the desks. As funny as that had been, she was getting bored. Eight-year-old girls weren't known for having long attention spans.

Jasmine: " Sorry got a little girl to entertain." I said as she went and sat in a desk. " Any way if you fight me I would just pour more on you." I said to him. knowing he knew I was telling the truth.
I turned to Amara " What do you want to do?" I asked her smiling still. I had met a few fire elementals but he was far better ten the others he could contole himself. The others couldn't, they would fight me and I would have to freeze them. Yet another thing they hate.

Amara shrugged, "I dunno." Anything that would pass the time was fine with her.

Drake leaned against the wall and sighed. He was sweating buckets from the water. He was deathly afraid of water. It had started as a small dislike as a child, but had progressed through the years into a full-blown phobia.

Jasmine: " hey dude I'm really sorry." i said as I saw his face. His face was trying to hide fear, but not very well.

"Guess what? Apperantly I'm here now..." she walked in and took a desk, "Something about 'Amara being more important than my studies'," she shrugged and laid down on a desk, crossing her legs and humming, "Wake me up when something happens..."
Just as she said that, she got knocked off with a shot of air. Rose.
"Careful Scarl, you haven't got any good powers to save yourself!" she cackled as she whipped the wind around her.
"Yeah?" she stood and clicked her neck, her eyes darkening over as the shadows pulled up beside her, "Care to re-phrase that?"
Just as she said that she heard the deathly screams, something that she hadn't heard in years, the ones of her little sister and brother.
No! Scarlett! Help us! each screamed, but she was too focused in this.
"It's just an illusion, you and Tarrant have been to close to each other!" she snapped.
With an evil cackle, she held her up to the wall, her hands darkened, her eyes blazing; she didn't notice Amara screaming behind her.
"Scarlett?" a voice came from the lips of Drake and instantly she snapped, dropping Rose on the floor.
Everybody stared at Scarlett, her hands shaking slightly, the darkness that swirled her had dispersed outwards freaking the hell out of some kids.
"I-I..." she looked away to the outside window before the teacher led her outside.

"You control darkness? Bad move m'dear," he held her shoulder, "It's a risky thing, no one can pull it off without going crazy, that's why you went like that. Now, because I know you're a copier you probably can;t control yourself as well as Jasmine can. I suggest that you just go for a walk or something, get your head back together, eh?" he tapped her shoulder before heading back to class.
"Luke...Ellie..." she whispered as her hands clenched; she didn't notice Drake coming out and now touching her shoulder; she zoned out.

"Scarlett," Drake said gently, "Are you okay?" Though it was quite obvious that she wasn't, he couldn't think of anything else to say.

Tarrant walked down the hall to Mr. Xavier's office. He knocked on the door, which opened. "Hello, Charles," Tarrant said, with the air of one greeting an old friend.
Without turning around, Charles calmly replied, "No death threats?"
Tarrant's brow knit together for a moment, wondering what Charles meant. Then, he said, "What on Earth did that illusion do?"
Finally, Charles turned around, and, somehow, the two friends managed to piece the entire story together.

"I'm fine, just thinking...just thinking," she leant against the wall and sighed; that guy in the floaty place had stolen her cigarettes and never gave them back. Great.
She met his eyes, hers finally returning to their natural amber cutting through her fringe; she felt embarrassed, ashamed and a total let-down to little Amara, she shouldn't have got so worked up about Rose...
"I need some air, come if you want to, I don't mind but I shan't be talking much just to say," she shot a half-hearted smile at him before getting off of the wall; she needed to think.

Mr. Wexlin's head poked out of the classroom door. "Mr. Fuego," he said sternly, "You, unlike Miss Storm, do not have permission to leave the classroom now. If you try to again, you'll be banned from Friday's dance."
Drake turned back to Scarlett. "I guess I better get back to class," he said, a bit awkwardly.

Tarrant raised an eyebrow. "Really? It blew up the school?" he said, disbelievingly.
Charles nodded, "Completely destroyed building C and left a student emotionally scarred for life."
"Poor kid," Tarrant said softly.
Charles nodded again. "And that is why it's so very good to have you back, Tarrant."
Tarrant smiled, then frowned a bit. "I suppose, due to the illusion's record, that I'm not allowed to teach anymore."

Scarlett sighed, she probably could have twisted Mr Wexlin's arm a tad if she really wanted to.
"Just make sure that Amara's okay, if that's cool with you Drake?" she asked before he shut the door, herself feeling a bit lonely.

Kicking a can, she watched as the trees swayed from side to side; pure ease and beauty. With a sigh, she sat under one and looked up at the sky, half of her view destroyed by the tree, but she was coping.
As she closed her eyes, the darkness returned, gently warming herself despite she not realising.
"You okau now Scarlett?" the guy clad in white appeared, "You conjuring Darkness like that was remarkable!" he sat down nest to her, like an outline, like a shadow himself.
"You saw it then? Rose had it coming..." she shook her head, laughing slightly, "And those shadows weren't mine, I borrowed them off of Jasmine."
"But yet they still respond to you?" he moved his hand as they danced about her body, her hands and forearm completely covered.
"I'm still controlling it," she shrugged.
"Prove it, conjure up air," he smiled.
With a nod, she put her hands infront of her and tried, failing miserably.
"It's because he touched you, you can still use fire though but darkness is your own power, something that you donlt have to copy or control, right?"
A devilish smile appeared on his lips as Scarlett nodded along with the idea.
"Close your eyes, I'll take you back there."
"Back where?" she closed her eyes as instructed.
"Back home..." and with that, she melted into the floor as he held her temples, the smile growing ever wider.

"Actually," Charles said, "If it indeed wasn't you yourself who commited the offenses, you're record is clean and you can resume your regular teaching post."
Tarrant smiled brightly, a bit of the spark returning to his dull eyes, "If that's the case, I'd better go and start planning some lessons."
Charles nodded a good-bye, "It was nice talking to an old friend after all these years."
Tarrant nodded and left. For the first time, he realized just how old of friends they were. They'd first met when Charles was twenty. And now he was... Well, he sure as Havvel wasn't twenty anymore.

Jasmine: I walked through the hallway. After hours of corse, no one would bother me, stare at me, or whisper about me. I liked it. I just wish there was something to fill the silence but not some mean romers like the one that I was accually trying to take over the school, or the one were I'm an imortal who has mastered ever power known possible. I snorted yea right.

"So, I never did catch a name from you," Scarlett looked to the guy and smiled, it was a bit forced grant, but to be honest she was floating in darkness.
"The name's Lupine, Styler Lupine but you can call me Styler," he nodded.
Scarlett copied abrubtly and looked beyond, another stinking door?
"What is this place?"
She had no idea; it was dark, like a huge narrow room but it had no walls, it just got so dark that you couldn't see as the floor was giving out the light. Along the edges there were occasional swirls of mist or something like that, giving it a tiny bit of colour.
Walking down the paths, Styler along side, she stopped as she heard it again; the screams.
"What's troubling you?" he stopped along side and touched her shoulder, an instant calmness swept over her.
Scarlett shook her head and closed her eyes, a somewhat relaxed sigh escaped her.
"Nothing, just...nothing," she shook her head as she spoke, how could she forget about it?
"Come on then!" he took her hand and started to run, Scarlett instant got dragged and so had to follow.
"Where are we going?" she giggled as they leapt over between platforms.
"You'll see!" a smile grew on his lips as he looked forward again, "You'll see m'dear..."
