Scarlett: I took the pad back.

I made a deal, one which I now regret. It was supposed to bring Cole back, but the person was lying to me. He just wanted to use me. In the end, the guy just left me here to die, knowing that his trial had failed. I was the result. He wanted to find a way of controlling Light and Dark at once, but as you know they don't favour each other.

Scarlett: Tears streamed, "What happened? You never came home." I looked at him.
Cole: "Well... It's complicated. I got caught, police took me. In the back of the car I saw a figure, he told me he could get me out if I did what he said. I agreed and turned to spirit. He said the only way I could get back was to find you. I did, staying with you the last two years, hoping that you'd see me. I didn't know that I wasn't visible. I kept on trying to contact you. You just thought you were going crazy and starting cutting. I don't blame you. But that girl who can see me... You gotta thank her Scar."
