Nite sighed, that spark of affection igniting in her heart, and touched his cheek gently, "I'll be careful. I'll stay out of sight," she assured him. "I know this city better than anyone else. If anything, I can-" she gritted her teeth, hating the word, "hide until they pass. They won't find me. If they get a hold of those forbidden jutsu, then all is lost and we're all as good as dead."

Sasuke cursed out and paced a bit.

Natsume ran out with Mitsuki, taking point with the ANBU, Kurenai, Sai, Ayumi, Yuuki, and Tsuki.

Sakura ran to find her husband.

Nite nodded softly, jumping up onto the roof with a hiss, "Go," she hissedsoftly, her enhanced hearing picking up enemy cries...

Mitsuki kept even pace with him, hiding her anxiety as she cradled Tsuki protectively.

Naruto roared furiously as he batted the mist general away from him.

Natsume nearly collapsed in relief when they saw the secret gate out of Konoha.

Sasuke looked at her with worry nd love.
"Stay safe, Nite-chan...please," he begged before taking off.

Naruto threw the nin through the trees, standing up, eyes visciously red.

Mitsuki nodded at ANBU to open the gate before looking at her fiance, veiled fear hiding there.

Nite stared at him, "Aishiteru," she called, "be safe, Sasuke-dana," she whispered, running to hide, as much as she hated it.

Natsume looked to Mitsuki, eyes showing the same fear that she felt but also love and devotion.
He then returned his gaze to the ANBU before helping them open the gate. As everyone ran past, he closed his eyes sadly.
When the ANBU went to the other side, Natsume helped close the gate from within Konoha.
"Aishiteru, Mitsuki-chan," he whispered before a Kunai was stabbed into his back.
He gasped, eyes growing wide before all emotions turned off and Kyubei took over.

Sakura ran towards Naruto and stabbed one of the Ninja from behind with a cry.
She removed the sword from his flesh and looked to her husband.

Sasuke ran as fast as he could to the tomb of forbidden scrolls.

Mitsuki gasped, "Natsume-kun!" She cried, eyes growing wide. She leapt forward, but the hardened ANBU woman grabbed her arm, "Don't," she said, "We have more important things. Sometimes that's just how it is." She dipped her head to peer at her little cousin, nodding softly, "A-Aishiteru, Natsume-kun."

Natsume roared and slashed and clawed and gripped men, throwing them against the gate and the trees. He growled and dropped to all fours, nine-tails swishing as he growled.

Sakura ran as fast as she possibly could before gasping at the carnage her son had, and still, was ensuing. "Natsume, stop!" she cried, sprinting towards him. As he turned to her, he roared and slashed at her, slamming her into a tree.
She yelled out, her arms and stomach badly burnt as she collapsed to the ground.
