Noctis shook his head, speaking to her for the first time in weeks, "I am fine, Lady Stella. And what of you? Are you injured?" he looked to Prompto, "You're not injured, are you Promp?"

Stella shook her head. "There's no need to be so formal, Noct. Other than that, I'm...I'll live," she whispered.
She then raised her arm and banished her sword.

Noctis studied her for a minute before turning on his heels and pulling Prompto off to the side, "I want to invite Stella to travel with us." he said, waiting for Prompto's response.

Prompto felt his heart sink. He bit his lip and propped his shotgun over his shoulder leaning against the wall.

Stella? Traveling with them?

She already liked Noctis, how would he handle this? He liked her too.

Prompto didn't meet his gaze, he then leaned his head back.

Time to fake.

He let a smirk spread across his lips and then a bright smile "Really? Well we'll keep her safe from any trouble!"

Every word annd thought stung.

As they grew closer to the beam, Hope's chest fluttered. What he studied now meant a lot to the history of Etro.

He then held out his hand to help Lightning up the brick wall to the stone steps "Cmon Light...just up ahead...," he looked. Someone was there.

(Awwwh!!~ Poor Prompto D: But it does kinda make sense.)

Lightning looked up into his line of sight and tilted her head.
There was a figure in the distance.
A feeling of recognition shot through her and a memory flashed in her mind as she took his hand.
The other pressed against her head with a light grimace.

Stella looked over at them with a slightly empty look to her eyes.
And then she let out a pained hiss mixed with a gasp as she suddenly doubled over, falling to her knees. A hand kept her propped up as it pressed against the ground while the other held her head.
Pink hair. It was a female, looking around the same age as her maybe.
Who is she? she thought.

Serah looked up at the beam, it seemed to form...a Gate of some kind. She wanted to enter, but something held her back. She felt someone watching. She spun around and prepares her bow closing one eye to aim.

No... it couldn't be.

"Lightning?" She whispered. Her legs became wobbly, she went to run to her sister but fell "Lightning!"

Prompto raced to Stella's side. "Lady Stella? Is it the wounds?" He got ready to summon a Phoenix Down.

Lighting opened her wide eyes at the sound of a very familiar voice.
"Serah..?" she whispered, looking up.
And there she was.
"Serah!" she cried and raced towards her sister before kneeling in front of her and hugging her tightly.
Lightning never let a tear fall.
This was to be the only exception.

Stella shook her head before slowly opening her eyes.
"A Gate has been opened," she murmured softly before turning her world-worn gaze to Prompto. "There was a woman..."
She shook her head before letting out a loud cry, holding her stomach suddenly.
Now, it was her wounds.
They felt like they were burning, being clawed out from the inside out.
She let out a whimper and then another yell of pain, collapsing to her side and writhing in agony.

Noctis raced over, eyes wide and concered as he put an arm around Stella, holding her up gently. He felt awful that she was in pain, and shoved the rest of his thoughts to the back of his mind, ignoring the incessant questions left unanswered.

Stella would have been flustered by this action if it weren't for the amount of pain the healed bullet holes were emitting.
"They hurt," she whispered, writhing in his arm. Slowly, she peeled her top up, just enough to reveal her stomach where the wounds were.
They were burning red and puckery, looking as if they had been infected with some type of poison.

His eyes wered wide as they landed on the cunshot wounds before flicking back to her dead father with a viscious hatred.

She spasmed suddenly with a yell, clutching Noctis' jacket.
Then, from underneath her skin, blackness began to make a trail from the poisoned wounds, looking like infected veins.

Hope smiled and ran, catching up with Lightning "Serah! Mog!" He happily stopped, catching his breath.

Serah happily hugged hher sister, her heart beating, a single teardrop splashed on Lightning's shoulder.

Prompto quickly shoved out a potion half filled he stole earlier from Unicorn mart(LOL GET IT LESLIE?) and tipped it down her lips.

"This will help for now..."

Lightning's arms tightened around her, a few tears of her own dripping down.
"You're alive," she rasped out weakly, pulling away to look over her, making sure that she was in fact here.

Stella looked wary of the liquid but she trusted Noctis' best friend and guzzled it down slowly, desperate and just wanting the pain to disappear.

Once she had taken the right amount of potion, she weakly turned her gaze to Noctis, eyes dimly looking into his before they closed and she fell unconscious.
