"I...I couldn't save someone...t-today..," she whimpered then suddenly threw the glass at a wall with a cry, tears falling as it shattered.

He licked his lips. "Ashura, I'm so sorry," he whispered.

"A-A little b-boy...H-He was injured during a c-class," she sobbed. "L-Launched into a t-tree and a branch s-stabbed into his s-stomach...I-I did everything I-I could!" she screamed, falling into his embrace.

She hung from the branch, "There is some things apologies don't fix...like a fucked up mind and the inability to love her own man...but thanks.." she said, eyes the same as Gaara's when they met him, voice scratchy as well. "But I was weak, in love...anyways...thanks." she was half taken over mentally her eyes shadowef from lack og sleep.

Shimamaru stroked her back, "Can I help you in any way?..."

She shook her head, falling to the ground and sobbing.

Ashura saw this and held him, "sasuke..." Ahe whispered rocking him, "Shhh...." She felt tears fall, holding him closer and humming to him gently.

Shikamaru knelt beside her, "baby...."

Here's eyes were wide as she covered her mouth, that shocking her as she leapt away, wishing she hadn't heard that. She sighed, going towards the outskirts of the town, needing to think. Did this change things between her and Ashura? What about her and Sasuke? She didn't know. She needed to figure that out. She sighed, making a Chakrams and aura.

Sasuke gasped, feeling Nite's chakra and pulled away. "I-I gotta go. Go home to your son and Gaara," he spoke and pressed a brother-like kiss to her forehead. "Please, try to forgive me for everything."
He then took off after his fiance.

She took a deep breath, closing her eyes. She wasn't angry or hurt. She was just surprised. Ashura had been in the same boat as her. But Pein killed it. She shook her head softly as she opened her eyes again, speeding up as she leapt easily from tree to tree.

Her eyebrows arched at his whimper, taking in his panic, ''Sasuke...'' she brushed his tears away tenderly, ''I'm not upset. I know it was a long time ago. I understand. I'm just...surprised. I need to process things.''
