Orihime laid in the hallway on her side, one arm draped over her stomach. Her breaths were weak and her eyes were shut, blood seeping into the white kimono she was wearing from her core. When her water broke a mere moments ago, she was getting ready to call Ashina; but, she didn't have the time. She felt an undeniable pain shoot through her body and simply collapsed.

Ashina paled, crouching beside her friend. She quickly dialed the emergency line, ''Yes, I need an ambulance. my friend's water just broke.''

Ichigo rushed out of the church, panicked.

"It hurts, Kurosaki-kun," she whispered, weakly turning her head towards him. She then gasped out in pain as a contraction rocked her body. She slammed her eyes shut and bit her lip, tears running down. After a moment, she opened her eyes. "I can't do this...I'm not ready...I don't wanna die..," she whimpered.

Ichigo brushed her hair back, ''It's going to be okay.'' he promised.

''Guys! We need to get to the hospital. Ichigo, you're the fastest. You take Orihime then we'll follow!''

Ichigo nodded and scooped up his bride, ''Alright, but hurry.''
