Anyone up for an advanced roleplay?
I've been looking around the site for a roleplay to join, and most of them seem fun with interesting plots, but I'm looking for a roleplay partner that can carry on with at least 3+ sentence posts. We can collaborate on a plot idea once I've got a partner(s). I'm really looking for a good story, not something that will eventually flop; this has happened with some of my other roleplays on various sites.
You may ignore this if you're familiar with advanced roleplays: If you're not sure what, exactly, an advanced roleplay is, basically it's title says it all. In an advanced roleplay, the creator of the thread is looking for a nice, descriptive piece that the next poster can work off of. These posts are constructive towards the plot, and maintain at least proficient spelling and grammar. I know that some struggle with these guidelines, but just try your best
An example of what I'm not looking for: Julie smiled. "Yes."
The above post is simplistic (and rather sophmoric) to say in the least, as you can probably tell. Something I would be looking for: Julie grinned, her soft smile partially accentuated by the soft winter sunlight. "Yes," She responded with confidence, her blue eyes holding something very grave.
But anyways, it's a rainy day, and I've got nothing better to do... who wants to roleplay?

I might be interested. I hate it when threads die because one person leaves and then you can't really continue...also one-liners kill them.
Anyway, yeah, overall, I might be interested

@TBN omg yes, that is so annoying. I just quit the thread, if the person replies like that over and over.

Re: Anyone up for an advanced roleplay?
Once I was really hyped-up in a thread and at first it had a load of people but then they left so it was a onexone. Basically in the end the guy changed my charrie into a vamp but she was a kinda princess thing and so a ton of guards came. I wrote a HUGE post and they replied with:
CHARRIE NAME: I hid in the corner and cried.
It was at that point when I gave up.
Also there was another thread that I loved and is now in a similar, and slightly more realistic, pitfall that I couldn't get back into.
ONE-LINERS ARE THREAD MURDERS!!!
Alright... I think I may need to take a chill pill.

Re: Anyone up for an advanced roleplay?
open- which thread is that. (prays its not one of mine)
And I know what is like that having a charrie do nothing that I can respond to.
I hate one liners, and when i do them, I try to make them somewhat able to be responded to.

Re: Anyone up for an advanced roleplay?
I try my best not to do one-liners but yeah, if I do it's easy to respond to. And not something that five posts of single sentences can do in a small paragraph of one.
It wasn't your thread, promise. I can't remember, it was in the summer because I came back after three weeks from my holiday and I was like 'WTF?!'... There was also another one at the time with the same person that I got a brainwave for but they KEPT ON DOING SELFISH, SORRY-FOR-ME ONE-LINERS!!!
I think the worst thing is watching a thread that you loved, had a charrie that was amazing in it and then gets overridden by two people that do twenty pages of one-liners. When I do threads now, if people start doing that then I generally just leave now; save me from getting my heart wrecked *sniff*

Yeah, i leave when it's just one liners. Like one thread i was in, i quite liked, but the other person kept doing one liners that I couldn't respond to, and I was just like... leaving.

Re: Anyone up for an advanced roleplay?
Maybe we should do a pact thing as your signature line, lol. That would sooo stop people from doing it
Another thing that gets on my nerves is over-thread makers. When I occasionally get an idea that I rather like and want to go for to see other's opinions they always bring a new thread and then it's more popular than mine!
Okay, I honestly need to stop this before the real point of this thread gets blocked by the massiveness that is my rage.

I'll think about it, normally I just put different charries in but since you gave me permission... i'll think about it.

Re: Anyone up for an advanced roleplay?
'Course you don't have to. All I ask is that you change Scarlett's name if you do, just that I'm using it in my book so wouldn't be ideal

Re: Anyone up for an advanced roleplay?
I'm so glad there's at least 2 people that agree with my views! XD Ideally I like to have at least 4 role players, I've found that my onexone's quickly veer off into a plotless, boring wasteland... I like different pov's.

Re: Anyone up for an advanced roleplay?
that is how mine go... pointless and go no where.
I think different points of view are nice, but I've found that I much rather write in third omniscient, ya know.

Re: Anyone up for an advanced roleplay?
That's always been one of my favorite point of views, it's fascinating. Like, this God-like presence that knows everything... XD Well, put that way it sounds kind of creepy but still...

Re: Anyone up for an advanced roleplay?
My writing style tends to be more personal, like I'm the charrie so books I generally write in first person. I do like third peep though because yeah, you do feel God-like and sometimes you can do things that you might not necessaryily be able to do.

Re: Anyone up for an advanced roleplay?
That's interesting. I really enjoy the way you roleplay; I've seen some of your posts around here. You too, Charlie!
But anyways, back to the point. So, I just saw this movie, Eagle Eye. I was thinking maybe we could bounce off of that plot, it was really interesting.
If you've never seen it, check out the plot and let me know what you think: http://m.imdb.com/title/tt1059786/plotsummary

Cool, I agree. It's pretty much a 2 player roleplay but we can easily factor in Charlie if she's still interested.

Re: Anyone up for an advanced roleplay?
As the plot goes, it revolves around one boy and girl... Do you have a preferance? I usually roleplay girls, but either way is fine.
