Aikou felt tears run down her cheeks as she smiled down at the little boy, stroking his cheek lightly. "Shh...love..." she rocked the baby gently as the crying ceased, looking up to Hitsugaya and smiling brightly kissing him.

He kissed her back with a smile before pulling away and stroking her cheek. "I'm so proud of you." He then looked down at his son, shakily cupping the back of his head gently.

"This is Orihime we're talking about, Ichigo. There's got to be an actual reason why she's late," he tried to comfort then looked over at the door as it opened. It didn't reveal Orihime but it did reveal someone else.
"Tatsuki?"
"Hey guys, I hope I'm not too late," she replied sheepishly before giving a hug to Renji then smiling at her longtime friend. "Hi Ichigo."

Tatsuki yelled a little, "I think you're overreacting a bit. Look, call her cell. If she doesn't answer that then call the house phone. Then if she doesn't answer, just go back home to see if she's alright. Okay?"

Hitsugaya walked in with Aikou, holding his son in his arms with a smile.

Orihime laid in the hallway on her side, one arm draped over her stomach. Her breaths were weak and her eyes were shut, blood seeping into the white kimono she was wearing from her core. When her water broke a mere moments ago, she was getting ready to call Ashina; but, she didn't have the time. She felt an undeniable pain shoot through her body and simply collapsed.
