Falyn-- Stlyer's fingers entwined with mine, but I didn't complain. I had too long been deprived of these sorts of things. I walked to the end of the dock with him, and sat down on the edge, dangling my feet in the water. "How did your dad find a place with so much beauty?"

Styler: "He was a warden here in the forest. He used to take me here all the time in the summer and stuff. There's fish and a swing... It's a real nice place..." I smiled.

Falyn-- I laid back against the cool wood of the dock and sighed. A sudden idea popped into my head. "Would you mind if I swam for a bit?"

Ruby: "What?" I asked, my eyebrow raised. It was that girl from earlier, "You stopped glowing now?" I laughed.

"Yeah. Why is everyone in there?" Kiri nodded her head at the door. "And where's Falyn?

Seth: I looked at the girl who'd stopped Ruby. What'd she want?

Ruby paused before answering."Falyn is outside of the school."
"Why?And, well, what's going on?" Kiri continued. She wondered why Falyn would leave. Something had to be happening, right?

Ruby: Her suspicions were rising. I sighed and grabbed her closer, "Her and Styler have gone off to have some time alone..." i whispered, I knew he'd kill me if it went around the school...

"What? Oh..." Kiri trailed off. "Who's Styler?"

"Um...Got it." Kiri faded, then reappeared a few feet away, away from Ruby's grip. "What's that?" Kiri said, nodding her head towards the door where the people were

Ruby: "Have you heard? About the teachers etc?..." she shook her head, "Come on..." I dragged her far away from the door, super hearing was a power...

Falyn-- Styler still hadn't answered my question. He was just looking off into the distance. "So? Do you mind if I do?" I asked again.

Is there any other fear more horrible than that concealed in a dream? I tore away from the confines of the bottom bunk, dragging blankets with me. Fear clouded my mind, and I morphed in an effort to escape the fiends of my imagination. a tigers claws were soon ensnared where a human's foot had been, and the shredded bed clothes fell away. I lay there panting for a while, but -for the first time in forever- I had slept in. It was already nearing noon. I got dressed, and stepped into the hall.

"What about the teachers?" Kiri glared at Ruby in confusion.

Padding down the hall silently, I looked for any sign of the others.

Braylen-- I took a cigarette out of the pack and grabbed my lighter out of my bag. I pocketed them both and then, snactching my shirt off the floor, I exited my room, not able to sleep.

I turned as the soft click of a door opening sounded. "Hey, Braylen,"

Braylen-- "Hmm," I said, looking around. My eyes fell on the same girl as earlier. Anderes, or something like that. "Hey, Ander- Screw it, I'm calling you Andi." I smiled down at her as I slipped my shirt on over my head.

I laughed, "Adi or Dere would probably work better- seeing how there is no 'n' in my name. My dad just called me Ace,"

I returned her smile and dug the cigarette out of my pocket. "I think I'll call you Ace too. It's seems easy enough to remember." I jammed the cigarette into my mouth and started to pull the lighter out of my pocket too. "I'm going outside, care to join me?" I asked, a hopefullness knawing at my insides.

"Sure," I answered, smiling. I followed him towards the exit, but the moment his cigarette lit up a small burst of flame insured it's immediate destruction. "As long as you don't smoke,"

Braylen-- "I'm not going to stop smoking," I said, a laugh rising up in my throat. "Think of it this way," I said, sitting down on the bench outside the school. "You know how I can sense darkness and move it to my will?"
