Ruby: "Cool..." I walked on and smiled. I pulled out a lolly pop from my pocket and took off the wrapper... It wasn't too old and sticky...

Falyn-- "I'm hungary. Do you wanna raid the cafeteria?" I turned to face her and she was giving me a weird look. "Or, we can raid the boys' room while they're sleeping," I suggested.

Ruby: "Whatever..." I sighed, it would be nice to see Styler again and let him finish off the conversation and why he was there...

Falyn-- I turned around and started walking back to the dorm that they were in. "Does that Styler kid smoke?" I asked, sensing the smoke in the veins of one of the two boys.

[BariJoy]

Fletcher slipped out of the "Student Relations" office. Mrs. Jones refused to speak to him until tomorrow. He scowled as he walked back to the dorms. He didn't need their "Poor and Homeless Kid" sympathy, all he needed was his city. He was so distracted that he hardly noticed when two girls walked in his direction.

Ruby: "no, he doesn't... He also doesn't like sharing is room... Wait... Is he now?" I asked, a smile crept across my lips. I say another guy walk towards us.

[BariJoy]

Fletcher was muttering to himself about how the school staff said he was 'homeless'. He wasn't homeless, he had had multiple perfectly good rooftops back in the city. He was so contained in his thoughts, he accidentally bumped into one of the girls. "Sorry," he apologized.

Falyn-- "Yeah. Two guys are in that room. And one is smoking. Or breathing in smoke of some sort. Or just has a lot in his veins." I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate on the new guy's veins. I could tell what powers he had if I concentrated hard enough. I barely noticed it when the guy bumbed into me, I was too contained within my thoughts.

Ruby: "Hey watch where you going!" I shouted, I was too easily agitated when I was tired, "Clutz..." I muttered under my breathe.

Styler: I looked around in the darkness... The other guy was asleep... I crept out of my room and into the corridor. "Y'right?" I asked the group, gathered outside.

"I'm sorry," Fletcher apologized again, "I was a little distracted by my anger at Mrs. Jones."

Braylen-- I rubbed my eyes as I slowly came to consciousness. I grabbed a cigarette out of the pack before walking out of the room. I bumped into Styler who was in the hallway talking to three people. "Light me up, dude," I said, shoving my cigarette in his direction.

Fayln-- A shirtless emerged from Styler's room, holding a cigarette. I covered my nose as he opened his mouth and a smoky smell filled the air.

Ruby: "What she do this time?" I asked, unaware of Styler's approach...

Styler: I walked in closer, Ruby looked tired, so I said so... I was just trying to be nice...

Braylen-- I rubbed my eyes as I slowly came to consciousness. I grabbed a cigarette out of the pack before walking out of the room. I bumped into Styler who was in the hallway talking to three people. "Light me up, dude," I said, shoving my cigarette in his direction.

Fayln-- A shirtless guy emerged from Styler's room, holding a cigarette. I covered my nose as he opened his mouth and a smoky smell filled the air.

Fletcher flicked his wrist and a gust of wind blew at the boy who was smoking. It caused the smoke to blow back and circle around his face. Fletcher turned to Ruby, unsure if he should tell her the truth. He decided he should. "Well, see... Mrs. Jones offered me a "scholarship" to come to this school. But it's really just some sort of grant for "Poor and Homeless Children" to get an education. I don't want it, I just want to go back home." Even though he didn't say that his home was a different rooftop every night, that was the most he'd ever opened up and told anyone.

Braylen-- I breathed in the smoke and sighed. "Dude, it doesn't bother me." I sensed he had some dark thoughts about a chick named Mrs. Jones. I took the darkness that swarmed around his mind and brought it out of his nose. He choked as a dark cloud squeezed out of his orfices. "You should really quit with your dark thoughts," I whispered. "They're not good." I brought the darkness over to me and breathed it in like I had the smoke seconds earlier.

Ruby: I raised an eyebrow... "Yeah, I'm on something like that..." I began, but it was shortly stopped from Styler...

Styler: "Mrs Jones can be too... you know..." I couldn't explain it... Unhelpful I guess...

[Parallel_World]

Falyn-- My eyes went wide at the scene that was playing out before me. Darkness- Fletcher's dark thoughts, to be exact- was floating through the air. Then, the new guy just breathed it in. Gross. I took hold of all the water in the guys neck veins and just held it, making him choke. He fell to his knees as I willed his veins past capacity. They were just about to burst, but then I let go. His face rubbed the carpet and I smile triumphently.

Ruby: "Right..." I said. I looked on the faggy guy and smiled. I lifted him up with my telekinesis and let him hang from the ceiling...

Falyn-- "Ruby, stop," I said, pushing her softly. "I gave him enough with my water power. That's too much for one guy to take." I watched as the guy fell from the ceiling and hit the floor with a thud. I rushed over to his side and placed his head in my lap.

Hey, I don't know for sure about you, but I really don't like being held against my will in this confined school," Fletcher didn't mention that part of that was his claustrophobia, "It's not like I'm a ward of the state or anything. They can't keep me here."

Ruby: "Sorry... Tired and cranky and blah blah blah..." I walked over and touched him... Healing was an amazing power... I turned to Fletcher, "I guess... But for me it was either here or another normal school were I was always the odd one out..."

[Parallel_World]

Braylen-- "Neither do I, dude," I choked out from the girls lap. "But it's not like any of us can help it. You might think this is a school to help us, but it's not. They're trying to drain our powers. They're trying to turn us against each other. Then, they're going to take all of powers. They're not going to let us leave. Ever."

Ruby: "What?!" I shouted, thinking he was still half way through recovery... I shook my head... I should have gone to the crappy human school...

[BariJoy]

Ruby: "Sorry... Tired and cranky and blah blah blah..." I walked over and touched him... Healing was an amazing power... I turned to Fletcher, "I guess... But for me it was either here or another normal school were I was always the odd one out..."

"Who says I'd go to another school? I'd just go back to doing what I do best: living on the rooftops. It's not like any of us really need that much formal education. They'll probably get to us before we can blink." Fletcher said the last two sentances to himself.

Ruby: "I never said that... I said I had the choice of here or crappy human school..." I pointed out. I could tell he was a street person through and though... I used to be like that...
