Shikamaru looked at her, "I don't want to hurt you...that's the only reason I stay away emotionally, and yes I've been taking up any mission I can so YOU'RE safe.." He whispered. "When I saw bone head Ashura with Gaara I started getting hurt more often because I thought if he of all people could keep the girl he loved happy why couldn't I?.."

The tears trickled more as she closed her eyes and shook her head. "You think that you getting yourself hurt is going to make me happy?" she growled lowly. "You're wrong. It hurts me...It hurts me more than anything."

She smiled and leaned over, kissing him firmly but briefly before smirking and walking out.

Naruto held her gently, walking towards the hotel they'd written on the thing.

Sakura kept her arms around his neck.

He chuckled, thanked the medics, and followed her.

He sighed, "I can't help it you distract me..."

Ashura came to the door, "You two have to see this.." She pointed to the babies who were nustled together, Kibanara's arm around Tsuki's protectively.

Naruto nodded and looked, "Cute..." he said, not noticing the way his voice was raspy with exauhstion.

She smiled, having waited for him, and took his hand walking out.

Ashura picked Tsuki up gently handing her to Naruto.

Tsuki had the small wolf close to her in the other arm, breathing softly.

Ino shook her head and looked away.
"Go home, Shikamaru," she whispered softly, tears falling faster.
She let out a small sob. "You're exhausted. You don't know what you're saying."

Sakura then began to try and get out of Naruto's arms, wanting to hold her daughter so badly. But when she saw how perfectly fine she was and the way she was sleeping beside Kibanara, she smiled softly and relaxed. She began to wonder if she'd recognize her in the morning despite her swollen, beaten self.

Sasuke exchanged the hand-holding for holding her as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders gently, careful to not put too much pressure.

(Naruto is carrying Sakura, Viper.)

Naruto slid the infant into his wife's arms gently, an appreciative nod given to Ashura, "Thank you for watching her," he said softly, cradling his wife closer to him.

Nite smiled, resting her head on his shoulders, eyes slightly closed as she slipped into a fond memory, laughing softly as the thought sturck her.

(You be Sasuke in this? This is like when Sasuke was the ice prince.)
[i]Nite hissed, "Sasuke-sempai, we've been going at this for hours! Can I at least stop to take a drink of water?" The ten-year-old asked with a huff.

"No," he spoke, pulling her up. "You wanna get strong or not? Because if you don't, then you're wasting my time," he began to turn around.

Sakura held Tsuki close, beginning to cry softly.

The young red head hissed, and the sound of kunai bouncing off of wood could once again be heard, "Stupid Teme..." she grumbled to herself as she continued to throw them before practicing the jutsu he'd been teaching her.

Naruto gently brushed her hair back, turning for the door, "Let's go home..." he said softly.

[Cali]

He stood back and watched, arms crossed.

She looked up at Ashura and smiled. "Thank you.."

The more she messed up the harder she tried, an angry look of concentration on her face as she chewed her lip, mimicking the hand motions, although the jutsu still lacked in real power.

Naruto smiled and nodded in agreement, "Thank you very much," he said, shutting the door behind him.

He sighed. "You're doing it wrong," he snapped.

Sakura held Tsuki protectively.

[Unabound Justice]

She shot him a look, "You think I didn't notice that?!" she hissed, repeating the jutsu with more force this time, the firball hurtling towards the dummy angrily.

Naruto smiled softly, carrying them into the silent house.

He smirked. "Look at it." The fireball hit the dummy square in the chest.

Sakura sniffled, rocking her gently.

She rolled her eyes, thinking he was criticizing her and turned to repeat the jutsu yet again, "I don't see why Sakura and Ino have such crushes on you," she muttered childishly.

He gently sat on their bed just holding his wife and child for a long time, a million thoughts racing through his mind.

He rolled his eyes, "You do realized I complimented you, yeah? Whatever. Training's done for today," he scoffed and began to turn around to leave.

She stroked the little girl's cheek.

She blinked at the absurd idea of recieving a compliment, blushing as her own rudeness, "G-gomenasai, Sasuke-sempai," she said softly, her own shame bitter on her tongue.

He smiled as the baby cooed at them happily with an innocence that people longed for as adults.

Her forehead touched the little girl's gently.

Sasuke turned towards her. "Same time tomorrow. Don't be late." With that, he walked off.

Ashura nodded and smiled, closing the door and cuddling into Gaara's side.

Naruto smiled softly as he stared at them happily, gently resting his chin on her shoulder, watching the mother and daughter.

She nodded and jogged off. It wasn't until the next day that she finally spoke her mind, throwing her kunai on the ground in frustration, "It's useless! I always forget whatever you taught me the next day!" she exclaimed in frustration.

Ashura woke the next morning to Kibanara's cries she hushed him and changed him, feeding him and rocking him slowly.

"I have to train Nite today."
"Fuck my existance then!" She stormed out in the middle of the night, accidentally running into Gaara, hitting her head, "OW FUCK...sorry Gaara.." She wiped tears from her eyes, looking up.

Ino shook her head and looked away.
"Go home, Shikamaru," she whispered softly, tears falling faster.

Sasuke sighed, "Alright. Let's try this." He walked over to her, standing behind her, and placed his hands on her shoulders. "Yesterday, you were able to do the jutsu when you got angry. Now, think that the dummy is someone you want to surpass. Someone you want to prove to. Picture it clearly, Nite."

Sakura rocked her slowly, softly singing 'Blue bird'.
