He smiled and layed back with a yawn, "I missed you too."

Naruto walked towards their own hospital, where he'd last seen Gaara and Ashura, "Sakura, just because you pulled away from a kiss doesn't mean I stop loving you. The things that happened don't change how a feel, aside from making me more protective of you."

Nite smiled, hissing softly as the alcohol was dabbed on, "You know, that rumor about it numbing the pain is just a lie so that nurses don't feel as bad about it," she informed the male nurse.

Sasuke chuckled, his jaw pulsing a bit. Once the gash was fixed up, he stood.

She sniffled and nodded.

Ino sighed softly. "It's nothing. What matters is you need to stop getting yourself hurt," she spoke gently. She began to clean the wound gently. "Sorry," she murmured when he hissed a little. Her eyes didn't have its usual happiness. It hadn't for quite some time now.

Her jaw pulsed. "Fine." She got up abruptly. "Go home and get some rest. Your mother must be worried sick," she spoke softly, though there was no emotion in it other than sadness, lonlieness, and exhaustion.

Nite felt him cut the thread, growling at the guy when directed she should probably stay the night, "I heal fast. I'll be fine at home," she said, "It's not my first mission, intern."

Naruto looked around, "Hey, where are Ashura and Gaara?" one of the aids came up and handed him a note, "Alright thanks," he said, walking out.

Sasuke scoffed a little at this. "Her first mission was at what? 12?" he chuckled.

Sakura sniffled. "Naruto...what if he comes after me again...?"

Ino pulled her arm away, "Why should you care? Your agreements remember? For us being Non-Exclusive. No feelings. That's what you said," she started off yelling but by the end her voice was a soft and tearful whisper.

She raised her eyebrows, surprised, "How'd you remember that?"

Naruto held her, "I'm not leaving your side for an instant," he promised, "If he comes again, I'll kill him. He'll be dead long before then. I meant what I said about sending ANBU to kill him."

Shikamaru looked at her, "I don't want to hurt you...that's the only reason I stay away emotionally, and yes I've been taking up any mission I can so YOU'RE safe.." He whispered. "When I saw bone head Ashura with Gaara I started getting hurt more often because I thought if he of all people could keep the girl he loved happy why couldn't I?.."
