Naruto rolled his eyes while Shikamaru face-palmed.

She kissed him back warmly, arms around his neck.

Sakura rolled her eyes. "That doesn't piss me off you know."
"Ehh!?" she yelled.
The pinkette giggled. "I always pretended cause it was fun to watch you get defensive."

He pulled away and nuzzled her forehead. "I love you so much..."

Naruto laughed, putting an arm around his wife's waist.

Shikamaru rolled his eyes, "Aren't you supposed to meet TenTen and Choji in ten minutes, Ino?"

"I love you too," she said, smiling brightly as the words Nite Uchiha echoed in her mind.

"Bye, Ino-pig!" Sakura called after her teasingly with a laugh.

He brushed his nose against hers sweetly.

Shikamaru followed her with a bored sigh.

Naruto laughed warmly at his wife, "Didn't you say you were supposed to meet Nite and Sasuke in a bit? Something about nightmares?"

She giggled, taking his hand, "We really do have to go. We're supposed to meet Sakura before we go," she explained.

She smiled and took his hand, heading out the door and towards the meeting place they'd chosen.

As they stepped towards the old Team 7 spot, she let go of his hand and looked around with a small and reminiscent sigh.

Sasuke followed, knowing where they were heading to. He knew where to turn like the back of his hand.

Nite didn't have as many memories here, having been personally trained by someone else, but she had a few.

Sasuke saw Naruto and Sakura up ahead. "Then some bad like Kakashi-sensei whooping our asses," he chuckled, grabbing their attention.
Sakura turned around and smiled, "Hopefully we'll all be able to do that again," she giggled.

She raised an eyebrow before looking at him. "I think I've come up with something that can help with your nightmares."
He paled at the thought of them, his grip on Nite more protective.
She nodded. Just seeing him do that gave her all the confirmation she needed to know that he was still suffering from them.
"What do you have in mind?" he questioned, his voice a little dry.
"A Jutsu," she spoke softly.

Nite placed a gentle hand on his arm to calm and reassure him.

"I'd like to try it. It's not a permanent solution yet but it should resolve it until my research is done," she spoke.
He nodded, "What needs to be done?"
"Stand here," she murmured, the two breaking away from their respective spouses.
She then raised her hands as they glowed with Chakra. Both their eyes closed as her hands cupped his head.

Nite watched calmly standing next to the hokage. Taking the moment to explain that they would not be calling the two to testify against Neji, "I don't think Sakura could handle it."

Naruto nodded gravely, "Don't tell Sakura that. She would take it as you calling her weak. I know that's not what you're doing, but it seems like it," Naruto explained softly, watching Sakura and Sasuke.

Sakura made no recognition of hearing them even though a pang of hurt was evident in her stature.
Slowly, the chakra disappeared and the two opened their eyes while she pulled her hands away. "There. That should do it."
And that's all she said before walking away, crossing her arms as she headed back to the festival.

Naruto frowned and followed her back, eyes worried.

Naruto sighed, "Fuuuck," he hissed softly, "She wasn't trying to hurt you, Sakura. She just doesn't want you to have to face one of your best friends as a criminal. We all had to do that years ago with Sasuke and she jusr wanted to protect you."

She slowly led him towards the club from 19 years before with a smile on her face, "Now do you understand what I meant about you recognizing it when we got there?"

Naruto sighed softly, "Sakura, you know she didn't mean it like that! Do you want to sit there in front of dozens of people and look Neji in the eye and recall every detail of the night you had to attack him!?"

Nite smiled softly as a thrill rushed up her spine. Lightly kissing him on the lips, she slowly led him inside, "You'll just have to wait and see, Sasuke Uchiha."
