Isshin cursed loudly as the blood began to seep out faster. "He's hemorraging. Go into my bag and get the gauze."

He nodded, giving him the bag.

Isshin then began to act quickly. He applied pressure directly on the wound until the bleeding stopped. He used a sterile bandage and held continuous pressure for at least 20 minutes without looking to see if the bleeding has stopped. He maintained that pressure by binding the wound tightly with a clean cloth and adhesive tape. But it wasn't enough.
He then used his hands because nothing else was available.
He didn't remove the gauze or bandage. The bleeding continued and sept through the gauze. He didn't even make a move to remove it. Instead, he added more absorbent material on top of it.

The bleeding didn't stop with direct pressure.
So, he began to apply pressure to the artery delivering blood to the area. He pressed on the inside of the arm just above the elbow.
He squeezed the main artery in that area against the bone.
He kept his fingers flat.
With his other hand, he continued to exert pressure on the wound itself.

"Shit, I'm losing him!" he yelled. He began to perform CPR, years of practice and saving lives, shown with this expertise.
"Come on..."
1, 2, 3, 4.
A few breaths.
1, 2, 3, 4.
More breaths.
He continued this for a few minutes.
Until he staggered back, eyes wide.

Isshin looked to Aikou. "I..."
"Don't you fucking say it!" Orihime suddenly yelled, running past them. Ayame and Shun'ō, looked to each other with a nod before lowering and hovering over Hitsugaya's body. They looked to Aikou and smiled before looking to Orihime.
"Sōten Kisshun!" they yelled in unison. Suddenly, light manifested from their hands and spread until it covered the white-haired captain's body, glowing blindingly.
