She screamed/laughed, trying to bat his hands away, "Stop!"

She kissed back softly before pulling away and blushing. She looked to the doctor who looked up from a magazine. "Your reiatsu...it's marked," she murmured softly.
"With the ShunShunRikka."
"You used Sōten Kisshun."

Dr. Menzer nodded. "Isshin, when you and your sisters were born Ichigo, had a hard time keeping that secret away. And when your mother died...God rest her soul, he completely changed. He did everything he could."

Renji tilted his head also before pulling away and kissing her forehead.

She looked at her attired and nodded, "Just a sec," she stood up and took of his shirt, handing it to him and went to her room to get dressed.

"And you and your sisters were doing your best also. I know it was hard for you," she ran a hand through his hair. She knew the story of his mother's death; but she didn't really say it.

He shoved his shirt on, grateful he was wearing boxers and jeans still. He shoved his shoes on and grabbed his jacket.

She put on a pair of shorts, a bra and a tank top while pulling her black hair into a matchingly dark pony tail.

Ichigo nodded, "I know, but I could've done more. Fixed dinner when he had to work late. Take the girls to school..."

She jumped, not having heard him come in, "Thanks," she said softly, pushing her fringe from her face.

He led her outside and walked with her down the streets.

She slid off the hospital bed slowly, smiling. She paused for a moment to rest her hand on her stomach.
