Sasuke yelled out, his eyes wide. He reached for her but found that he couldn't move.

Naruto slipped on his formal shoes and took her hand, a bright smile still on his face as they headed for the door.

"Sasuke! Sasuke wake up!" Nite cried, tiring of shaking his shoulders she used the last resort of slapping him into wakefulness with all her might.

She held his hand happily as she walked with him.

Sasuke shot up with a scream, gasping with tears sliding out of his eyes.

(Update on vid in This Is War thread)
They headed for the church (?) seeing it in the distance with Seto and Mitsuki posing for a picture out in front of the church.

His sudden jolt forward sent Nite tumbling off the end of the bed with a cry of "Holy shit!" When she stood, she bolted to his side a hand on his back, "That's the fifth time tonight...er....day."

He gasped for air, sniffling occasionally as his chest heaved.

Sakura looked at them and waved, smiling. She also saw Natsume there, waiting patiently at the sidelines with- "Ryou!" she yelled happily, grabbing his attention.
He looked up and waved. "Hey guys."

Nite rubbed his shoulders soothingly, wetting a rag and dabbing it on his face to cool him down, "It's alright, Sasuke," she soothed patiently.

Seto and Mitsuki finished posing for their picture and turned to greet them, Mitsuki hopping down the steps followed by a much calmer but still overjoyed Seto, "Hey, Aunt Sakura and Uncle Naruto," he greeted them with a smile.

Natsume walked over, "Hey Mom, Hey Dad."
She smiled and gave her son a quick hug. "I'll be right back. I have to talk to Ino for a second, alright?"
"Mmk," he nodded and began conversing with his girlfriend.

Ino turned and sadly smiled at Sakura. "Hey, how are you?" she questioned. "I heard what happened last night," she touched her shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Just tired but grateful no one got hurt," she smiled faintly.

He ran his hands into his hair, shutting his eyes tightly and gritting his teeth.

Mitsuki looked at him, "Do you think mom and dad will make it for the rehearsal. I heard they're on the mission."

She lightly dabbed his face dry with a towel, "Hey, it's okay alright?" she said softly, "They're just dreams," she promised.

"I don't think they'd miss this for the world," he spoke with his eyebrows raised slightly.

Nite put her arms around him calmly, "It's alright, you're awake now, okay?"

Mitsuki frowned, "I hope so. Seto's looking forward to it. I wonder where they are."

Natsume shrugged and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "You know that they would do anything to show up. Who knows? Maybe they're on their way right now," he smiled, pressing a soft kiss to her temple.

He wrapped his arms around her hesitantly, afraid that his arms would pass through her. When his skin made contact with her, he gasped and pulled her into a desperate embrace.

Mitsuki hummed and nodded, "I'm sure you're right," she remarked, smiling softly as she hugged him.

Nite leaned into the embrace, arms around him, "See? You're really awake, okay? Everythings alright," she didn't mention their being late. Seto would understand.

She slowly ran her fingers through his hair, lightly over his shoulders, "It's alright..." she repeated, "Everything's okay?"

Naruto listened to Sakura and Ino talk quietly with a smile, "So, have they decided when his trial will be?"

Ino shook her head, "It's indecisive right now. Especially with the Orochimaru-"
She noticed Sakura's eyes sadden and her jaw pulse suddenly. "Sorry..."
The pinkette shook her head and easily forced a smile. "It's fine."

He shuddered and nodded, trembling.

She subconsciously leaned into him, seeking his safe warmth and protection.

She rubbed his cheek before perfoming a calming jutsu. She felt bad using a jutsu on him but it was better for him.

Naruto nuzzled her, wrapping her in all those things lovingly.

Slowly, his eyes closed for a moment, his body relaxing.

She sighed softly into his chest, trying to hold back the fear. She couldn't lose it now. Not at the reception.

Naruto slowly cradled her against his chest, mouthing to Ino that it wasn't her fault.

She buried her face into his chest, closing her eyes and trying her best to take calming deep breaths.

He opened his eyes and looked at her, faintly smiling. "Yeah."

She let out a soft sigh and pulled away slowly.

Nite had already gotten ready before she came in to see Sasuke in the grip of a nightmare and she smiled, "Suit's hanging on the shower curtain," she said, going to fix him a glass of coffee.

He held her lightly, "You okay?" he asked softly.
