Naruto held her gently, "I know, Sakura. You did what you had to do to save our child. If you hadn't done it, I would have."

Nite sighed, going down the the reception desk to begin cleaning up there, she saw the girl and check her pulse, hoping that maybe...."She's gone," she sighed, closing her eyes sadly.

Sasuke sighed sadly, giving the woman a moment of silence out of respect. He shrugged of the suit jacket and slowly laid it on her before standing.

She held her stomach protectively, sobbing hysterically. She knew that she needed to calm down, for their daughter's sake, but she couldn't.

Nite sighed, "During sentencing, they're going to want Sakura to speak. I know she won't be able to do that," she sighed, "We're going to have to speak too," she added, picking the girl up and laying her on the straight board with a sigh as they carried her out, then Nite thought of something when they asked, "It was Neji Hyuuga. The Hokage wasn't here today," she said, "He took the day off. It was just us here."

Naruto rebbed smooth circles in her back slowly, trying to calm her down. He sat her on the bed and went to get her some warm milk to help get her nerves under controll.

"We came to turn in some files and we saw the girl on the ground. When we got to the Hokage's office, he told us everything, how he wanted Sakura as his own and he would kill the Hokage if it was the last thing he did. We dispatched him and they came just a few minutes ago to lock him up. There is no need to call the Hokage or his wife with this matter because they were not involved," when asked of her own injuried and precarious state she explained their outfits as, "We were on our way to have a romantic evening when we dropped them off, " and, "No battle is without it's injuries."

Sasuke nodded in agreement and, as if to persuade it even more, he wrapped his arm around her waist, revealing a slash to his shirt that looked like it was made from a shuriken, which was what Neji used.

Sakura clutched her head, shaking it as she heard Neji's voice. "Shut up...shut up!"

Naruto ran up stairs, "Sakura! Sakura, calm down. He's not here!" he comforted her, putting the warm glass into her palm, "Here, drink something and just breathe, okay? Calm down...."

The studied them but if they doubted the store, none of them said anything. On of them requested she come to the hospital to have her injuries healed and her shoulder set, but she shooed them off with a promise she'd report immediately after they were done here.

Sakura gripped the glass with shaking hands, her breathing labored and the tears still coursing down. "H-He s-said he'd h-have his re-revenge," she whimpered.

Once they left, he sighed and unwrapped his arm from her.

Naruto petted her hair, "I won't let that happen," he promised her, "He won't be let out of prison ever. He will not be gone light on. The council will surely agree in this instance."

Nite relaxed, the smell of dried blood on the for making her stomach want to heave but fortunately, she hadn't eaten yet. Swallowing, she returned to work picking up scattered papers, thanking Kami there was no blood on them.

She heaved and shook, leaning into him with tears streaming down. She felt sick to her stomach.

Nite set the papers up then realized she was still in orochi form and blinked it away, hair flashing back to red almost instantly.

Nite looked like she wanted to argue for a moment, but sat down anyway.

She sniffled and curled into him, holding the glass as she shivered and shook.

His jaw pulsed. "I'm going to fix your shoulder," he mumbled quietly.

Narto shifted her so she was sitting and gently took the glass from her, holding it to her lips, "Drink," he said in a gentle raspy tone.

Nite nodded in acknowledgement, preparing herself for pain by locking her teeth and staring directly forward.

Once she finished the drink, she pulled away, leaning into him.

He then ripped one of the sleeves off of his button up shirt and began to wrap her shoulder gently. "It'll last until we see Ino later."

He wrapped his arms around her waist, leaning against the wall. He hummed softly, rubbing her shoulders with his thumbs in slow, light circles as he mumbled an old tune he vaguely remembered from somewhere he wasn't quite sure.

She nodded, standing up, "Thanks," she said softly, relaxing as a few thoughts went through her mind. If That form is my bloodline attack....what would happen with my curse mark? Or what if I were to activate my curse mark along with my bloodline form? she knew it would be best if she waited a while. Anyway, she had other things to think of. Like Seto's wedding in two days... and hers and Sasuke's aniversary in a week.

She smiled softly at him with a gaze full of love and eternal forgiveness, "I love you," she reminded him, rubbing her nose against his in an eskimo kiss.

His chest rose and fell evenly in a steady rythym as he felt his own heart against her back as he rested his chin on her head.
