Sasuke followed after he got dressed.

Natsume got dressed. "I'll walk you there," he offered. He didn't feel right about letting her walk there alone. After his best friend's death he'd been protective of her.

Nite opened the fridge and got out the frosting, washing her hands, she got her frosting tips and icing back and set to work adding the flower designs.

Mitsuki smiled and nodded. "Alright." She complied, knowing he was protective since his friend died.

Natsume finished getting dressed before taking her hand and following her.

Sasuke decided to give Sakura a call to catch up with her.

She headed to the Kage building happily, but hurriedly.

Naruto was getting ready to go to work, Sakura still sleeping so he answered. "Hello?"

"Oh, hey Naruto. I just called to check up on Sakura. Is she feeling okay? I herd she had to be taken to the hospital," he said casually. The bond between the two was not as strong as before but it was slowly rebuilding.

Natsume followed, matching her speed.

Naruto smiled. "Hey Teme. Sakura's feeling better, but still not great. She's sleeping right now." He said. "And I was just about to head out for work so can I get Sakura to call you back later?"

Once at the doors she turned and kissed him. "See you at three."

Seto walked in the door then. "Mom Dad I'm home!" He called.

"Yeah, just let her know to call me whenever she can," he spoke before hanging up and yelling out, "Hey."

Natsume slowly and reluctantly let go over her hand as he kissed her. "Three o'clock, got it."

Nite answered her son as well as she stacked the layers of cake.

Seto went up stairs. "What's with the ten foot tall cake mom's making? It can't be time for the cherry blossom festival again already."

Naruto hung up, kissed his sleeping bride and headed out the door.

Mistuki kissed him back. "See you then." She said, heading inside.

Sasuke looked at Seto, "Mitsuki's welcome back party," he answered before pressing a light kiss to Nite's temple.

Sakura stirred in her sleep before waking up to hearing the door shut.

Natsume headed on his way home.

"Ah....that explains it. Who all is gonna be there? I want to ask Aunt Sakura a question." He said as he stole a piece of corn flake candy, recieving a half-hearted glare from his mom. Even though he had been young when Sasuke returned, and he loved his father, he still had a closer bond to his mother, while his sister was closer to their dad.

Naruto had left a note on the alarm clock.
Dear Sakura,
Hey, beautiful. I'm sorry I wasn't there to greet you when you woke up. I had to go to the office for a bit. Sasuke called. He wants you to call him back when you can. Don't forget 'Suki-chan's party this afternoon. And Natsume should be home soon too.

The meeting was already boring as they asked her stupid questions with obvious answers.

As Sakura sat up and read the letter, she couldn't help but smile. She then yawned, stretched and slowly and lazily started to get dressed. She heard the door open then close. "Natsume?" she called out. However there wasn't a response. She automatically looked alert as she pulled out her family's sword from its hidden spot. When she turned the corner, her neck was met with the dart of a tranquilizer, her eyes fluttered shut as she fell limp and arms caught her before vanishing into thin air.

Minutes later, Natsume cautiously entered the house after seeing the door wide open. "Mom? Dad?" he called out, pulling out a few Kunai. He checked ever corner, every room, every nook and cranny. No sign of them. He came across the letter his father wrote. Okay. There's Dad...but...where's Mom? he thought desperately.

Three O'clock rolled around and Naruto, Nite, Seto, Mitsuki, and Sasuke all sat around.

Naruto frowned at the lack of his family. "Where are Sakura and Natsume? They should be here by now...." He said.

Nite frowned deeply. "I have a really bad feeling about this."

Natsume was already knocking on the door frantically. "Dad! Sasuke! Mitsuki! Somebody!!" tears were in his eyes.

Natsume couldn't breathe got a moment, his heart racing and pounding in his ears. "Mom...missing...looked everywhere," he gasped out tearfully. He then looked up at Nite and handed her an envelope, "I found it by her sword. Look who it's for," he whispered.

To: Nite Uchiha, Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto Uzamaki, Ayumi Moiya and Sai (?)

From: A few very old friends

On the envelope was the symbol of the Akatsuki, stamped in blood.

Nite's gaze hardened as she read the letter, saying "Seto, get my weapons from the back room."

Seto nodded and headed up stairs. This must be serious if his mother was wanting her uniform. "Mask too?"

"Yes." She said stonily.

"Mom...dad?" Mitsuki asked.

"Naruto get her out of here." The Hokage nodded and ushed her up to her room before returning to his friends.

"Go upstairs to Mistuki," Sasuke spoke.

"No!! I wanna know who took my Mom!" he yelled angrily, tears rolling down his cheeks.

Nite looked at him firmly. "Natsume, I will tell you once we've got this figure out okay? For now, you need to go upstairs with Mitsuki." Her voice was that of a well-trained general.

Sasuke felt terrible for the training ninja but he knew what must be done.

Sasukes eyes widened with pure rage. He quickly ran upstairs before racing back down, in his uniform with his Katana. His mark was dangerously close to activating.

Natsume sat on Mistuki's bed, shaking.

Nite walked up to fill the kids in, calling over her shoulder "Sasuke call Azumi and Sai." She turned to the kids "A really bad group of people have Sakura. We're going now to get her back. Seto knows where the weapons are if anyone comes to the door, don't let them in."
