"What does he want with her?" he murmured. He shook his head and looked firmly at his son. "Set her down," he gestured to a nearby bed.

She shook her head frantically, beginning to thrash around. "No!" she screamed, crying in pain.

Orihime cried out, her body arching as if she was struggling against invisible bonds. "No! No, please!" she screamed.

"Shit! Ichigo, hold her down!" he yelled, preparing the vials quickly. He shot a look to the girl. "Hurry up. She might not have a lot of time."

Ichigo sighed, "I'm not sure, Orihime, but I do know that if I have anything to say about it, he won't be coming anywhere near you. Ever."

She felt tears well up as the flashbacks played. Her hand tightened in his as she began to sob.

She wet her lips, finding her throat to be dry. Her heart continued its relentless pounding of nervousness as Hell Butterflies seemed to gather in her stomach. "I-Ichigo-kun...?" she whispered, blushing even brighter. She had never called him that before, and very rarely called him by his first name.
