A guard went to one of the mutants cells and opened it. It was time for them to go to the fourth floor.

(Lol, it's fine. I haven't been on much either. I got call backs to audition for the parts of Mrs. Meers and Mrs. Flannery. I love the part of Mrs. Flannery and hope I get that part.)
Vanitas smiled at the frantic looking girl who lunged at him with Kye Blade. "Haha, calm down you." He said, enjoying the was she panicked before looking at the guard. "That's the one. Master Eraqus wants to see her personally." His golden eyes gleamed as she sneered at him.

"Like hell!" She spat, lunging again. Vanitas quickly dispatched her with a blow to the skull and looked at the guard. "Go get the other one. Tell her she's going to the fourth floor and bring her to Eraqus and Xehanort.

The guard nodded and scuttled off. One rule amongst the lower ranking people was to never cross a high ranking assassin. And Vanitas was one of them to never cross.

Vanitas scooped the now unconscious girl up with a smirk. "And make sure not to harm her. She may prove useful to us." He called over his shoulder as he headed toward the large office of his master.

The guard came back ten minutes later burn marks on his arms and on his hands. He dragged an knocked out Cosette who had steam floating from her hair.
" got her." the wimpy guard said triumphantly wincing at one of the burns.

Vanitas nodded and pointed to a pair of chairs. "Put her there."

About this time, Lacie was coming to. She went to pick up her arms, but they were chained behind her to the wall, as she screamed and fought against them.

The guard dropped Cosette in one of the chairs and chained her up also.
" so why are they needed here?" the guard asked touching one of the burns on his hand.

Vanitas smirked. "Because they have value to us." He stated, before turning to the man. "Leave us. The masters and the mutants have something to discuss."

Lacie struggled more, snarling.

"It won't work. Those things were designed to withstand anything." He laughed as wind swirled around the room, as he removed his helmet. "A little wind won't do you any good in here girly."

Cosette's eyes snapped open and suddenly she was an inferno sitting in a chair, her flames where a brilliant blue as they grew and still the cuffs didn't yield. " damn you." she spat.

Vanitas laughed briliantly watching the mutans. "Vanitas!" An older man's voice called with force. "Stop that!"

"My apologies master Xahanort." He said.

"Unchain them."

"But-"

"Now."

"Yes...master..." He grudgingly said, unlocking their chains. "He trusts you more than I."

"I apologize for my son's brutality....he's a but hard to handle."

Cosette looked up the fire in her eyes.
" says the man who murdered my mother, and raised me ere in a cell. Of cores." she said making the end drip with sarcasm.

Xehanort chuckled. "My dear sweet child. I'm afraid you have been misled. I would never do such a thing. My sole purpose in life is to take lonely, abandoned children as yourself in and protect them from the world. " He said.

Cosette rolled up the sleeve on her shirt revealing scars from ice. " yeah. Thanks pops." she said very sarcastic still but now she was burning with rage. She had been living in that cell for as long as she could remember, so forever, and the assassins always loved to torture them. Cosette especially. A fire mutation could never work when she was in water or covered in melting ice. Ice burned her, it was fire to regular people to her.

Vanitas stepped forward and nailed her in the throat. "Vanitas!" Xehanort hissed as he studied the horifying marks on Cosette's skin. "What are these scars from?"

Cosette knew he was lying, he ha seen him lye before straight to her face. Years ago right before she escaped. He had led to her about how her mother dyed. She knew she was killed by him, the assassins where so mean it had to be them.

Eraqus sighed, stepping out. "Xehanort, that's enough, you snake." He called firmly. "I told you to leave them alone, that you'd done enough damage, now get out of here before Master Aqua is invited to show you the door." He hissed.

"Eraqus..." Xehanort hissed, whirling around. "You do not know the power they posess! Their potential."

"As weapons? I will not do that to them. They suffered enough when your son and his...friends...killed their families."

"This is not the end of it, Eraqus." Xehanort snarled, as he and Vanitas exited. Master Eraqus went to help Lacie stand. "By the gods, I'm sorry. Did that monster of a scientist harm either of you?"

Eraqus was startled at her tone. "I can never tell with him, though I do believe that attitude says yes..." He said softly. "I'm sorry for him. My name is Danted Eraqus. I just took over for my Sensei Master Sheing." He said. "Please, tell me how I may help you."

" you can start by turning back time and not poison my mother, then you can go and die in a hole of you think I believe you and your goody two shoes act. But since you can't turn back time then you and everyone who isn't a mutant can just go die and then let all the mutants free." she said Her hair lighting on fire as she spoke.

Eraqus laughed. "Just because we don't rage and attack like you, doesn't mean we're not mutants. Observe." He unbuttoned his shirt, to show that along his ribs, was a set of gills.

Eraqus held up his hands and slowly backed away. Once he was far enough away, she slashed the other mutants chains, and headed for the door. "You'll let us go without saying a word, or I'll kill you." she spat and she opened the door for the other girl to go first.
