We don’t exist. Never have and never will. That is to the normal population.You are all different; That’s the problem. All been brought here for different reasons. Some needed to be silenced. You typed our name into an internet search program, we were alerted. No need to share your knowledge with the rest of the world, but you are normal. We will just make sure you stay silent. Others, they are more problematic. You are deformed, we are only trying to fix you. Of course there are always a few errors, but all for the greater good. Certainly the facility is not overly comfortable, but when your fixed you can move up…maybe.


The Plot:
People have been taken from their homes in order to be re-located to the Department of Genetic Modifications. Some have attempted to research about the department and have ended up with a visit and more or less detainment in the top cells. These are like normal rooms, and corridors. You are all treated nicely, but are forbidden from leaving the area. To enforce this there have been guards posted at all possible exits along with metal doors, which are obviously locked. While most are treated nicely, others are a little…rebellious they have prison cells just below the apartments of the norms as the department has nicknamed them. Even so, you are treated fairly…as criminals are.
Below this level are the mutations. People who have been born deformed or had incidents that have caused them to somehow change. They insist they simply have abilities, but the department believes them to be causes of danger to the normal populace, and therefore must be detained and “fixed”. They are treated as less than animals in order to make sure they maintain a weak stance and no threat. Those that know of other people similar to themselves are interrogated for information. Each stay in cells which are uniquely built to adjust to each mutations limits.
Rumour has it that the mutations are getting restless and a certain one is stirring desperate to get out. You have a choice- Will you join her and be free or die trying? Or will you remain?

Setting:
The facility is located underground in America. Near New York City. The only way out of the facility is through the top floor and past the guards. Also note, they are meant to escape, though I will make this difficult and may take a while. Once they are out I am planning for them to split into two groups. Those that want to do good and attempt to use their abilities for the population and those that want revenge and power. Obviously this is not set (don’t worry, I do have a plot, just having it a little mysterious for now!)

Assassins- These are basically the guards and torturers of those beneath. Respectful to the commoners at the top of the department and less the cordial to those marked as “Human Criminals”. As for the mutations, they can do what they like to them. They are entrusted with three main goals:
A). To collect those located that are either interested in the facility or show “differences”
B). To maintain control and weaken those in the bottom cells to ensure escape is improbable and also to acquire information needed from those detained.
C). To assist in controlling those the Scientist’s need and also to work under the Supreme Director.
They are broken into groups. The Second (basically second to the Supreme Director) is the one that has the most privileges as well as being skilled in his/her field. The Higher Order works beneath the Second and also have a lot of privileges and freedom in their work. The Agents are just your average guards. These can be used by all role-players.


Mutations- These people have special abilities and are kept in cells specifically designed to hold them despite their talents. Please be creative with these, and I ask that we have no demonic powers just to keep it somewhat realistic (This includes ghosts, vampires, future telling etc. Just doesn't appeal to me, sorry). More focusing on mind powers, elemental and animal powers.

Supernatural Talents: She can stop time for a wile, if she doesn't at least once in a wile she gets a strong pain in her chest and it's almost unbearable. She will also accidentally use it if someone scares her. Her second ability is the ability to control and breath fire. She is able to eat it also.

Personality Traits: 
She doesn't care what other MUTANTS think of her but despises the guards. She has a high tolerance of pain because of her position in the prison as a mutant and sometimes will act dumb, weak or tired to get out of things. She has developed very good acting skills over time. You can never know when she is lying sometimes but if you're another mutant then she wouldn't lie to you. Others, she wont trust others.
Vices:
-she lies a lot and doesn't feel bad about it
-doesn't care if she hurts someone who isn't a mutant

Strengths: victory is good at acting and sometimes being optimistic. She has a good singing voice and is good at stoping time for long periods of time. Although sometimes its accidental or a must...

Fears: Victory is terrified of the dark and fire, she doesn't even know why she is scared of fire but once the guards left her in darkness for three days and she couldn't stand it.

Likes/Dislikes:
Victory loves to sing and will annoy the guards a lot with singing. She loves the musical Les Miserables and will sing it all the time. She hates fire and darkness and complete silence. Spiders are another one of her fears but she will squash them, it's not a phobia. 

History: 
The rain patterned against the window as the sickly looking mother holding a baby rocked in a chair. Her face sank as she sang a sad melody of death. 
" cosette its past your bed time," she sang softly to the baby girl with hair that seemed to shine like an opal stone. Amber eyes looked at the baby girl and a man entered. "I'll take Cosette." he said lifting the baby from the dying lady's arms. The lady smiled, " tell her, I tried to raise her, tell her I love you." the sick mother said before inhaling her last breath and letting it out with a stutter and then stopped breathing. The baby, Cosette, opened her eyes and gazed at the man with brilliant purple eyes and a worried look on her baby face. A tear slid down et face and the man smiled.
-seven years later- 
Cosette ran she had thirty more seconds before she had to let it go. She ran past five people as still as statues. Sir had lied to her. They wanted to drag her to the darkness. She wouldn't let them! " never!" she screened into the silent hallway as her time ran out. Motion began again and shouts began again also. Cosette's feet carried her a good distance before she was lost and captured. Try dragged her down to the cells for the mutants, one made for her. A huge plastic box with a large hole for air at the top half an inch from the roof and a few smaller ones on the sides. A metal gate opened into her cell for food and in the back a black curtain for changing and using the bathroom. She kicked and screamed before being thrown into the cell.

Cosette curled into a ball in the corner of her cell as a guard shut of all the lights in we cell quickly. The freezing plastic behind her made her shiver just as her true fear set in. The darkness ingulfed her and she quietly murdered words of comfort to herself. She was on the fifth floor; the floor only two or three mutants where because they had escaped before. The rest where on the third floor, the fourth was used for a place for the mutants to talk. It was the only place with no security cameras. Not a very smart thing the government had done. Cosettes cell was completely plastic, one of the only things that she couldn't use her power when she was in. But in only. Metal was fine, just plastic. Her only wish at the moment was to get out of the darkness, fire could and do could electricity but she couldn't do either. Fire was her mutation, but she could also eat electricity. Her mind raced just as a red light began to flash and blair. It was time for her to be dragged up to the fourth floor. Two heavily muscled guard assassins opened the plastic door to her right and grabbed her by her handcuffs. The handcuffs where metal but she knew what happened when she burnt an assassin. It was her first time coming out of her cell in three months because of that. Director had sent for we when se had burnt one of his guards and after she came back she couldn't walk due to her injuries. The two guards shoved her into the fourth floor and unlocked her hand cuffs with a grunt of hate from one of them. She snarled at them before they closed the metal door with a clang. The fourth floor was like a lounge there was a TV and a stack of movies and a sofa and some chairs with a table but nothing more besides the concrete floor and walls. It was lit by fluorescent lights which hurt Cosette's eyes but she ignored it, it was light. Slumping into a chair she noticed she was the only one who was there for now.
