"Lacie!" Kairi screamed. Unversed attacked her without letting her even get a single breath in.

Tifa looked up from her drink, a blank look on her face. "Teef?" Cloud's voice rang in her ears. His hand shook her shoulder.

"Kairi..." she murmured. Her pupils dialated as she suddenly hurdled over the counter agilely and booked it out of the bar, not at all phased by the rain. She skidded to a stop, eyes widening at the sight of just how many heartless and unversed Kairi was taking on by herself.

Lacie was panicked and torn, screaming her lungs out.

Roxas and Sora, having followed Tifa grimaced. Roxas was the first to act, immediately leaping into action fighting them without paused.

Tifa clenched her hand, balls of light in different colors illuminating her arms. She charged towards the boy in red and black. "Back away from her!" she yelled, her fist glowing bright white as she prepared Final Heaven.

Kairi was backed up against a wall, heartless pinning her there and making her watch helplessly while an unversed stood prepared to rip her throat out.

Sora lunged forward, batting away the unversed and heartless from Kairi.

"No!!!" Lacie cried, not sure why she rushed to the rescue of the boy. "Don't hurt him." she said.

Tifa skidded to a sudden halt before heartless grabbed her and threw her to the ground with a cry. She was pinned, helpless.

Kairi screamed when the unversed clawed her stomach. It kept its hands prepared to do it again before looking to Sora.

Lacie watched as he removed his helmet and his golden eyes smirked at her, as he winked and disappeared, the unversed going with him as Lacie ran to her friends.

Sora snarled and batted it with Kingdom Key.

When the heartless and unversed disappeared, Kairi fell to her hands and knees, gasping and shivering. She was freezing to the bone, her skin pale and her lips blue.

Tifa, her body sore, stood slowly and looked around. She looked at Lacie with angry eyes. She suddenly growled and grabbed the back of Lacie's shirt before pulling her towards her so her mouth was close to her ear. "You need to start explaining. Now."

Lacie trembled as she felt herself almost sobbing. "I don't know Tife! I just- I was with Kairi when the heartless attacked and then- then he showed up and he was calling me Ventus and then, he kepts said I was ventus then I remembered being Ventus! I was so confused and when you went to attack him- I don't even know! I just couldn't let him get hurt! And he knew that and-and-" she felt tears tumbling angrily down her cheeks and flushed with embarassment. "I just don't know!"

Tifa blinked, instantly feeling awful. She let go of her slowly and stepped back a few feet, holding her wrist. She looked away, "Sorry."

Kairi shakily stood, despite her injuries and how much blood she lost.

Sora ran to her and hooked her arm over his shoulders.

Lacie managed to compose herself and trembled, unable to speak.

Kairi staggered into him, weakly looking up at him. She could barely keep herself up but she willed herself to start walking. She looked dead within her eyes, the pain consuming her slowly.

Tifa walked up to Kairi and took her other arm, hooking it over her shoulders. "Easy now," she whispered to the redhead before looking to Lacie and motioning with her head to start leading in case anything happened.

Kairi whimpered in pain, gasping for air that she couldn't seem to get.

Sora put his free arm around her waits so as he was almost holding her. "You're going to be alright, Kairi..." he whispered softly, even though inside, her was in tears.

"It hurts," she gasped, her legs giving out from underneath her. She weakly stood back up, pain evident within her and shining through. There was nothing but pain.

Sora quicly scooped her up. 'I know it hurts baby. But you gotta stay awake, alright?"

Kairi placed a hand on her bloody stomach, blinking slowly. Though the rain was washing it away, she almost liked the way it ran down her arm.

Sora hurried in, thanking whatever controlled the fate of his girlfriend that they had arrived at the bar.

Kairi gasped in pain, her body spasming. "S-Sora..."

Sora quickly called Riku over. (I gots permission to use Riku.)

Riku, upon seeing the condition of his friend, her quickly ran over and cast Curaga.

Lacie slipped up guiltily to where what little stuff she'd brought was stored.

Kauri looked over at the silver haired man though she wasn't able to see him clearly. "Riku...you're back..." she whispered before he came towards them. Once Curaga was cast, pain continued as her wounds closed up in a torturing manor. Kauri screamed, begging for the pain to stop. The process of the Cure spell was slowing down and weakening.

Riku closed his eyes and focused on casting another one.

Sora hald her hand. "It'll be alright Kairi..."

Lacie could hear the screaming and slipped out to site on the roof. She looked up at the sound of footstep and saw Axel. She was about to speak, he stopped her. "So, I saw what was going on..." Axel smiled and gave her a Nobody calling card. "We can help you." he stood up. "Think about it..." and he was gone. Lacie tucked the emblem in her pocket with a sigh.

Kairi eventually passed out, her hand falling limp in Sora's. Green tendrils of light mended the wound slowly.

Lacie came down stairs, Axel's words echoing in her head. Think about it....

Lacie felt so bvad about Kairi's state. She felt as if her being there to attract Venitas had caused Kairi to be attacked and she wrapped her palm around the paper with the nobody symbol on it.

Sora and Riku spoke. "I'm here." they said in unison.
