A transparent figure appeared behind Sora. The auburn haired girl sighed sadly. "I'm so sorry Sora..." a few tears fell.

She gasped softly, "You....you can see me...?" She whispered, tears starting to fill her eyes faster than ever. Her long hair wasn't up in a ponytail like her real self did. Auburn waves softly tumbled down, her bangs in her face.

Sora reached to comfort her but found his hand went thrrough air. "The heartless attacked. We tried to stop her but-" Sora felt a lump rise in his throat but swallowed it.

Kairi shook her head, weeping as she fell to her knees. Naminè wasn't just a part of her; something way more:
At times a friend and at times a mother. Especially when her adoptive parents passed away, she, Sora, and Riku were the only ones there to comfort her.

Kairi looked up at Sora, sniffling. She stood, hugging herself tightly. There was a soft glow suddenly, coming from her ghost-like self. When this happened, she was no longer transparent. "W-What...?"

"Its a spell," Tifa said as she walked in. She looked at Kairi with a friendly smile. "Hello, Kairi.

The auburn haired princess smiled tearfully. "Hello, Tifa. It's good to see you. What spell-"

"A heart transfer per-say. Remnants of Namine's heart lingered around Sora when you and Donald came. It's enough for you to no longer be in a coma for a while."

Kairi hugged him back tightly, tears falling. She then watched in awe as her body disipated into soft green tendrils of light. "The lifestream is taking your body and keeping it safe. If you find your heart within the time period, then your body in the lifestream shall be released and you will return."

Kairi nodded in understanding. She looked up at Sora, faintly smiling.

"Then she will return to her Coma state," Tifa said. "But I have a feeling you'll find her heart in the near future. And besides," she smiled. "The time limit is a few weeks."

Kairi seemed to relax a little before yawning. Tifa giggled, "I see someone's tired. Well don't let me waste anymore of your time. I'm sure you both are very exhausted. Sleep well you two."

( Yes! Riku is completely hawt. I'd snuggle Roxas and possibly kiss him, or ventus. But I'd absolutely DO Riku or, if I'm wasted, Vanitas.)
Sora took a shy step closed so they were about a foot apart. "And I love you..." Another step. "And I want to stay by your side."

Kairi stepped forward till she was pressing into him lightly. "I love you too..." She leaned up to her tiptoes, still looking into his eyes. "And I don't want you to ever leave me again." She let her hands rest on his chest, her lips close to his.

Sora took his crown chain off his head and slowly put it over hers. "It's not much, but it's a promise." He said. "That one day, we'll have a life together."
