She smiled at the kiss, her lips moving underneath his.

"Why?" he asked gently. Then he bit his lip, hoping he wasn't crossing a line.

She sighed softly, shifting so that the colar of her dress lowered so he could see a ruggedly carved K on the top of her breast, "Kadaj marks his property," she muttered, "And likes to see how long it takes his toys to break."

Denzel's eyes widened and he hesitantly traced it.
"What did he do..?" he asked, a faint growl in his voice.

Tifa ran a hand into his hair, love making her heart jump.

He smiled softly against her lips, holding her close as he pulled away for oxygen.

Cloud heard someone clear their throat, turning to look at the two viewers sheepishly.

Tifa blushed and his her face in his chest.

His hand froze then smoothed her hair again, a slower and more gentler touch like before.

Cloud wrapped his arms around her with a roll of his eyes, "Take a picture, guys geez."

She closed her eyes and relaxed into his hand, hiding the memories away.

"Please don't give Yuffie any ideas," she giggled shyly.

Slowly, he lowered his lips onto hers in the softest kiss he could possibly manage.

Cloud let out another soft chuckle, "You act like she wasn't already thinking about it..."

She gasped as the strange fluttery feeling returned. She didn't want it to stop. Slowly she pressed her lips back to his.

Yuffie squeaked before hiding behind Cid.
"The fuck?" Cid asked, trying to peel himself away from the ninja.

Denzel smiled and cupped the base of her skull with the lightest of touches.

She tilted her head back slowly, deepening the kiss.

Then Tifa blushed brightly, realizing what she just said.
"Goddamn you, Yuffie," she grumbled, hiding her face from Cloud then placed a kiss onto his lips as a sign for "I'll tell or show you when we're alone."

Denzel pulled away for much needed air.

Cloud looked at her with concern, reaching over to help her up with a calm gentle hand, "Take it slow..." he said softly in a murmur.

She turned around in the circle of his arms, cocking her head to the side.

She winced a bit, her body still sore and tender but no longer worse for the wear. She smiled smally at him before finally giving Cid and Yuffie a hug.

Denzel watched the reunion of some of the members of Avalanche with a smile, holding Thalia in a one armed embrace.

Thalia just watched, slipping back into her usual stoic position, arms crossed.

Denzel's hand squeezed her shoulder gently. "Relax. They're our friends," he murmured

Tifa then stepped into the circle of Cloud's arms, the ones that made her feel small and secure, like she didn't have to always be strong and battle-ready.

Cloud wrapped his arms around her waist gently, leaning forward to kiss her cheek with a tender sort of affection never given to another person in his life.

Tifa's eyes closed at the feel of his lips on her cheek, a small smile lengthening her lips.
She opened her eyes and pressed a kiss to his cheek, giggling softly.

Denzel sighed. "They'll become your friends. Besides, it's been a few months and I still barely know them," he shrugged.

He sighed happily and leaned into her hand, his bright blue eyes slipping closed slowly
