"It's going to be okay," he soothed, holding her close.

Slowly, Tifa opened her eyes as they entered the light and ended up next to each other in what looked to be an abandoned town, snow falling slowly. At this time, Tifa was once again deeply unconscious.

[Unabound Justice]

She said nothing, staring out around them. There was nothing for miles, "How? we're stranded in the middle of an ocean in god know what fucking world!" she snapped.

Cloud slowly sat up, looking around dazedly before standing up, he helt his hand out and caught a handful in awe. He'd forgotten how beautiful snow could be...

[Cali]

Denzel frowned, buying his lip. "We need to swim down there..."

Tifa's eyelashes fluttered as the snow caressed her porcelain skin.

[Unabound Justice]

She stiffened, turning her suddenly as viscious as the lurking depths gaze on him, "Are you inane?!?!?!?"

Cloud stood with his back to her, savouring the chill and the fact that he could see his own breath.

[Cali]

"We have no other choice," he murmured with a frown, turning his blue eyed gaze to her. "I've got your back."

Tifa let out a soft whimper of pain, wincing and beginning writhe and cough up water mixed with blood.

[Unabound Justice]

She stared up at him before swallowing and nodding. Without another word she stoically dove, swimming as far down as she could, eyes narrowed slits.

This seemed to draw cloud from his daze and in an instant, he was crouched beside her gently patting her back, "Deep breaths."

[Cali]

She slowly rose to her hands and knees.

Denzel dove after her, ready to urge her if needed.

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud's eyes never left her, a gentle hand placed in the center of her back lightly.

She forced her fears away, even as the ice of the water sunk into her bones, making it hard to stay away, and it just got colder as she swam.

[Cali]

Tifa shuddered and leaned into him, looking around.

Denzel swam after her, eyes focusing on the darkness. Then, they crashed through and began to fall.

[Unabound Justice]

He held her close, his clothes already dry from the fall.

She flipped so she was falling, not caring that the air was on the verge of pushing her skirt over her head. Her damp hair billowed arround her face, drying in the hot air of the voice.

[Cali]

She held her hand out, looking at the snow in awe. The last time she could fully remember snow was when she and Cloud were younger, playing around. They were both shy but when they were together, it felt like they didn't need to be. Slowly, she looked around. Everything was familiar yet unfamiliar at the same time.
Tifa...
She looked around, gasping a little. "Who are you..?"

She looked over Cloud's shoulder to see the same female silhouette from the church, wings wide open.

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud didn't seem to notice, as he was speaking to her, his words garbled and unclear as he pulled away to look at her, "Tifa, you okay? Teef?"

[Cali]

Tifa's crimson gaze was focused on the silhouette who raised her hand and held it out.
Tifa, you must come along. the voice echoed in the snowy town, words without a master. She didn't physically speak.
"Why me..? Why not someone else!?" she stood and yelled, hands balling into fists.
Because it is your destiny.
"Screw, destiny! I don't want this if it meant my home was burnt down and my friends are dead or missing!"
This is the legacy you were meant to live, Tifa Lockhart. From the moment you were born. From the moment you saw the man beside you and watched him break from the tortures of SOLDIER. You have pieced him together. From the moment Sephiroth pierced you, you have grown stronger and locked yourself away. This is your legacy, Tifa. And it's only the beginning.

Cloud seemed to pick up the words and looked at her with a frown before turning around, now seeing the specter for the first time and gasping, hand going to his buster sword, "You. Who are you?" he growled, stepping protectively in front of Tifa.

[Cali]

My name will be revealed in time. For now, it is not important. What is, is that you both are in grave danger. They are after you.
"Who's after us?" Tifa questioned, stepping forward so she was beside Cloud. Her eyes were focused on the woman.
The remnants. They are planning something much bigger Tifa. Recreating the Legacy of one they know as 'Mother.' And it all involves you.
Hearing this made her freeze, fear shooting through her entire being and something much more deeper. "Me..?"

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud frowned and put an arm around Tifa protectively, "They want to bring back Jenova?" he questioned, "Do they want more Mako?"

[Cali]

The female shook her head and lowered her hand. They want to recreate the calamity.
"And they want to recreate her using me..," she finished softly, piecing everything together. "And this is my legacy..?"
Oh the contrary, Tifa. Your legacy is to prevent this from happening. They want to change fate as they always had. That is their mission because as remnants, they have no legacy, no destiny.
"But why me..? Why does it have to be me?" she questioned with a weak tone.
Because you have survived death. First with Sephiroth, then the Lifestream in which you saved Cloud from an unexpected end in his legacy, and finally against one of the remnants, Loz.
Tifa tensed up at the sound of his name.

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud shifted awkwardly, not sure how he liked being talked about while standing right there, though he said nothing.

[Cali]

Slowly, Tifa began to walk towards the figure, tears in her eyes. She stopped halfway.
You don't need to be afraid, Tifa.
"They want me to be an inhabitor...a reincarnate of Jenova..," she spoke softly.
The woman nodded and held her hand out. "Will you choose the fate they want for you..? Or will you make your own path..?" she spoke for the first time. Her voice was soft and airy but young, no older than the raveness.
She turned her crimson eyed gaze to Cloud.

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud's eyebrows arched high as he looked back at them, shaking his head, "I can't make the choice for you, Tif'. This one's aaaall you."

[Cali]

"Then come with me," she whispered. As she took the woman's hand, she held out her own to him, eyes gazing into his with fear.
I can't do this without you...

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud stared into her eyes, reaching out and accepting her extended hand openly. He nodded softly, "I'd go with you to the ends of the world," he promised firly, his blue eyes golding love and sincerity.
I love you

Thalia could see the darkness turning into light and braced her legs for a forceful impact, eyes slipping closed calmly as she held her hands out.

[Cali]

Denzel fell feet first, taking one of her hands as they landed in a field of snow where Cloud and Tifa had landed. He slowly stood and looked around.

Tifa smiled up at him, a faint blush on her cheeks as she looked to the woman.
"So, it has been decided."
A light illuminated from her and began to slowly spread, covering their bodies at a slow pace.

[Unabound Justice]

She landed gracefully, her midnight locks faling around her shoulders, looking around, "Ahhh good old Worsenvine...home sweet home..." she sighed bitterly as she looked out at the waisteland that had once been her home town.

Cloud smiled at her tenderly, nodding softly, "Yes, it has..." he confirmed calmly waiting patiently for what was to happen next. He held her hand gently, stroking her knuckles.

[Cali]

Denzel looked over at the shining light, barely seeing Cloud and Tifa. "Hurry!" he called and ran after them.

Tifa slowly closed her eyes, feeling lighter by the seconds, sinking into a deep unconsciousness.

[Unabound Justice]

"Hey!" she criedm "Kid, you don't just run away from the only person that knows the area, idiot!" she cried, racing after him on still wobbly legs.

Cloud too closed his eyes feeling a warmth engulf his body as he was lifted, eyes sliding closed slowly.
