There was once a time in her life that Thalia believed in humans. When she believed love could conquer all.
That belief died with her home. When she watched her friends and family be slaughtered by the SOLDIER program.

Even after that, she kept faith in humanity, though she remained warry of straingers and gradually descended into madness.
Then she met the Remnants....
They slowly darkened her mind and drove her to kill. Unbeknownst to any of them...she'd falling in love with the most vile one of all



Kadaj
The wicked remnant had left a print on her heart like no other, despite the many times they'd all said it was impossible for any of them to feel and despite her own lack of emotion after such a dark time. Unable to cope, she ran. She began to lurk and hide, following them, stopping them. She did anything to spend a bit of time with the remnant that had captured her evil heart.

"Well well, what do we have here, brother?" the long-haired Yazoo asked as he approached the side of his more masculine fellow remnant, "Oh it looks like you found your old chew toy. Lovely..."

Cloud had his buster sword in both hands as he growled and swung it at them, "stay back!"

Yazoo merely laughed, "That didn't intimidate us in Mr. Fair's hands, so what makes you think it'll intimidate us in yours?"

"Step back, Yazoo..." a musical voice echoed from behind them, even as it displayed a frightening anger, the voice seemed to lull anyone near into a false sense of security.

"Oh, looks like our dear little pupil had once again come to thwart us...but we can't possible have that happen, can we brother?" he asked looking to Yazoo.

She snarled and pulled her gun into her palm, taking aim, "I'm not afraid of you anymore, woman" she spat the insult at his feet cruelly.

[Cali]

Suddenly, Tifa's battle cry was cut off into a raspy cough. She was in a tight chokehold.

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud snarled and tried to punch Loz as Yazoo intercepted him, knocking him against the tree with a harsh thud.

Thalia aimed her gun at Loz, cold red eyes staring down the barrel of the gun at him. "Put. Her. Down." she hissed, "She's nothing to you."

"Au contraire, moin pet..." Yazoo said as he pulled the blonde SOLDIER along by his hair, "She's our toy...and we happen to quite like playing with her."

[Cali]

Tifa cried out Cloud's name, whimpering when he pulled her against him. She felt disgusted when his hand trailed down her side and hip.

(My mom's talking about coming to Sherman Oaks today I think...)

"Tifa!" Cloud gasped as he tried to struggle, his buster sword laying on the ground behind them.

"It's useless little sky flower..." Yazoo said cheerily as he tossed him to the ground, picking up his sword (Which IDK the name of...) and taking his mark-

"BANG!!!" The shot rang out louder than anyone could have exepcted and no one was sure who was actually on the recieving end of the shot until they saw the maroon-eyed girl, with her hands held over her head by a familiar white haired man, "S-Sephiroth, let me go!"

[Cali]

Tifa froze with absolute fear, seeing the green eyed man. "You...You bastard!"
She got out of Loz's grasp amd.charged at him.
her fist began to glow with white energy.

[Unabound Justice]

As she charged, there was a shift and the one in line for her attack was the silken-voiced girl, whose eyes were wide as she tried to struggle in fear, refusing to die here. "Let me go!" she screamed again, her lithe form arching and curving as her thin wrists where still held firmly. At the last moment, she pulled the clip button and the clip snapped out, stabbing Sephiroth in the hand making him release her. She snapped the clip back in as she dove away from him, aiming right for his head as she glared at him The man she'd once called "brother"...

(Murr, I'm liking her liking Kadaj less and less....I'll see where this goes and maybe she just won't love anyone..)

[Cali]

Tifa raced at him. "This is for Jessie!"
Punch.
"Biggs!"
Kick.
"Zack!"
A punch to the face.
"Aerith!"
A kick to his chest.
"Cloud!"
She quickly broke his kneecap and took his sword.
"And this is for my father!"
She stabbed the Silver-haired man, causing an explosion.

(I dunno. I'm actually wondering if Denzel should be all "looove will fiiind a waay!" and she keeps pushing him away...my sister suggested we pair them and I'm like...o.0)

"Augh!" the blackette cried as she and everyone else was thrown back. She looked up about the time a kid- a boy who looks to be in his mid to late teens landed on her and her back colided with the ground and she hissed in pain.

Cloud grabbed a hold of Tifa as they went flying arms tightly around her to cussion her fall as they colided with a tree and he could hear something pop and his stomach churned.

By the time they got up, there was simply smoke rising from where Sephiroth had been and the place was deserted. No sign of the other two remnants to be found.

[Cali]

Tifa laid limply on her side, bruises and slices covering her already bloody and wounded body. Her side rose and fell weakly.

Denzel groaned and winced, feeling one of his ribs bruised. He slowly got up, staggering. He then looked down to her. "Hey...Do you need some help?"

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud sat up and noticed her week state, picking her up gently as he shook her, "Teef? Tifa?!" he cried as he used a potion, praying to Gaia that it would help. It didn't. He continued to attempt to rouse her, panick rising as a lump in his throat that he choked on and let out a soft sob- something he hadn't done since he was a small boy in Neiblehiem.

Thalia forced herself to her feet with only a light groan to show she was in any physical pain at all. She ignored the boy who'd fallen on her until she was steady at which time she shook her head and looked at him, the action spattering a few crimson drops from her hai over her porcelain features, "I'm fine..." she said, "though you're definitely no runt. Unless you're SOLDIER, then it'd really show how desperate they are..." she looked him over, crossing her arms.

[Cali]

Tifa's body was limp in his arms, her head tilted back to reveal faint bruising on the pulse of her neck.

Denzel shook his head. "Just an orphan," he muttered. He watched Cloud and Tifa with sad eyes.

[Unabound Justice]

"Good," she remarked, "Then we're one in the same. More importantly, I won't have to kill you," even as she's threatening, her voice seems to caress the ears, making it hard to focus on what she's saying. without another word, she walked over and crouched beside Tifa, casting Cure calmly as she closes her eyes.

Cloud looks up at her, not having noticed her approach. "What?" he asked as a familiar blue light flits from her fingertips slowly brushing over the wounds.

[Cali]

Tifa suddenly began to writhe in pain as the side wound began to close.

[Unabound Justice]

She showed no signs of remorse. No guilt. Her face was a mask of emptiness as she performed the magic. Her lips were a dull line, her eyes half-lidded as the wounds closed up.

Cloud tried to bat her away when he saw she was causing Tifa pain, but she didn't go, her hollow gaze freezing the blonde as he stared at her. How could one person...be so empty?

[Cali]

Slowly, her body relaxed and she let out a small sigh. She then opened her eyes and gazed up at him.

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud stared down at her, then to the girl to thank her, but she was already walking off. Cloud frowned but then turned to Tifa and hugged her, "Thank Gaia you're alright!"

She brushed past Denzel with a glance, and in her maroon gaze there seemed to be a longing familiarity....like she knew him from somwhere. "Stay safe...I don't wanna have to save your asses again.." she said softly.

[Cali]

Denzel looked at her before gently taking her wrist. "You should stay with us. We don't know who else is out there."

Tifa faintly smiled up at him. "It doesn't hurt anymore," she whispered hoarsely.

[Unabound Justice]

She stopped, falling silent before turning to face him, "If you're trying to protect me, I can take care of myself..." but she doesn't pull her hand away, staring up at him with a sort of hardness to her. A rigidness that doesn't come naturally to a person.

Cloud nodded, "Th-that girl...she's a medic. She healed you..." he explained softly, stroking her hair as he pointed to where she stood, staring up at Denzel who held her wrist.

[Cali]

"I'm aware, somewhat," he murmured. "But it's nighttime. There's shelter." He blushed and released her wrist.

Tifa nodded and slowly sat up before leaning into him, letting out a soft whimper from the remnant of Loz's touch.

[Unabound Justice]

She glanced at the church and thought for a moment. In truth, she was definitely not well. She could feel the last reserves of her strength fading as she tried to keep from wobbling. She sighed softly and nodded, "Alright," she agreed softly, "but don't go thinking I like you or anything," she said and headed towards the shelter.

Cloud hugged her gently, cradling her protectively to his chest. He knew it would be the cause for his sleepless nights for a long time to come, knowing just how close they'd come to getting killed out there.

"Tsk tsk tsk, silly brothers...thinking that little wench is possibly strong enough to kill Sephiroth. Have a little faith...he'll turn up once his plan is in action..." Kadaj admonished Yazoo and Loz, shaking his head as he ignored the screaming victim hanging on the wall behind him.

[Cali]

Denzel followed and sat down in the flowers, sighing worriedly.

Tifa looked up at him, blushing at their close proximity.

[Unabound Justice]

Cloud stood, not liking the feeling of the darkness closing around them and hurried back towards the church, trying not to seem afaid. He soon arrived back and Aerith's church and sat down on a pew.

Maroon orbs skanned the walls and pews silently for a while when she sat down. She quietly watched him intently, before breaking the awkward peace, "Thalia." she said softly, "That's my name."

She followed him silently, trembling and whimpering softly.

He looked at her and smiled. "I'm Denzel."
